I love Doctor Who. I loved Nine and I've started watching some of One's serials. They are fantastic and fun and perfectly cheesy and that is what makes them so fun.

Really going to date myself here with this but, I just finished up watching Peter Davison's run as the Fifth Doctor from start to finish. I have been buying all Doctor Who on DVD or BluRay. Finished buy Davison's this last month so watched all them in order. As you may have guessed he is my first and still favorite Doctor
Love David Tennant. I would say he is my second favorite.
Ace is my favorite companion.
Donna would be second on this list

I was looking through this forum and I realised, there aren't many (if any) Doctor Who threads. Well at least recent ones. So just out of excitement, mixed with curiosity, who actually likes Doctor Who? How long have you been watching it? Favourite Doctor? Favourite Companion? Anything! It would be awesome to know any Whovians or people that like Chameleon circuit... so just post away guise. I am ALWAYS happy to hear about Doctor Who!
If anyone does want to know, I love Doctor Who and have for about over half a year now, yet i have watched all of the new series' episodes and even some of the fourth Doctor. Just as many may say, I find it really hard to pick a favourite Doctor as they all are amazing and individual, but it is a tie between Matt Smith and David Tennant... yet my favourite companion is either Sarah Jane or Martha.
Now... POST!

I've loved this series since they began the newest series with the Ninth Doctor. Christopher Eccleston (the ninth doctor) is still my favorite Doctor so far. I think him and Billie Piper (The girl who played Rose Tyler) had great chemistry together. It's too bad that he only played him for one season. Unfortunately, I have not seen any of the shows from the previous Doctors before him.
I'd have to say that the scariest monsters in this series has to be either the Silence, or The Weeping Angels.
How about you? Who is your favorite Doctor? How about the companions? Which one of the antagonists in this series scare the crap out of you?

I actually love Billie Piper in Doctor Who! I cried when they had to cut her out the show! And then Catherine Tate was on my good list cus she was hilarious, and I think David Tennent did a good job playing the doctor, not too sure on Matt though, maybe next season will be promising though :)

Anyway, what do you think about the latest episode, and Clara Oswin Oswald?

I absolutely adore the whole show - classic series and the reboot! I can't wait for the 50th anniversary, and I can't even to begin to guess who/what Clara is X)

I've just started watching Doctor Who about...2 months ago? Started with Eccleston as the 9th and loved it. So after watching his season and a good portion of Tennants, I found Classic Doctor Who and have been watching that. So far I think my favorite is Jon Pertwee I don't know why I find him so amusing, I just do. xD We're currently on Doctor 4 and Doctor 11. >.> Totally loving the lot of it though.

I've only seen the episodes Netflix has. I'm a wee bit poor for buying the seasons and whatnot of each doctor. But you get a decent idea of who the Doctor was in his previous incarnations. It's pretty cool. I totally recommend watching the "early years"

I like Doctor Who because of the twists and ongoing series theme (Bad Wolf, Torchwood, The Master, Rose, The Cracks, The Silence) and currently, with Moffat, the neverending plot- he opens as many new questions as he answers the old ones. We get to see the possibilities of other worlds and life- we also get to meet historical people and see what things were like in the past. It has drama too- but not too much, I hate soaps!

I am SO glad someone agrees with me about Eccleston, but he wanted to leave and kind of hates being reminded of Doctor Who.
So many people skip to the 11th doctor and i hate it. You wont know who Rose is or who 11 used to be or why he is the way he is. You wont know about the timelord victorious. And if you start with season one of the new reboot they explain pretty much everything including why 9 is the way he is (The time war and what he had to do.) but if you skip to 11 they don't explain all the pain 10 went through and all the people he lost to make him turn out like 11. This show hurts.
