Ah, Sims2 is a pretty good game. I'm not one to play computer games a lot, but that was a pretty fun game. And yes, the customization is really fun. There are a lot of possiblities with it. 8)
I too made me, and some of my friends, but, I usually get bored with the game, and just kill everyone all the time.

I absolutely love Sims2. I even had Sims1 before, and I love it. I found myself addicted once, but I snapped out of it. So far, I only have one expasion pack, and that's University. I wish I can more, but I'm so financially depended on my parents xDD.
I'm hoping to save up however, for more expansion packs before more cool ones come out. I am definitely getting Nightlife and Seasons.

OMG! Yes, I love that! ^O^ I only have the base, though...Well, not really, I also have University, but it won't work properly for some reason, so I only play the base. ^_^;
Some time ago I had to stop playing, though. My computer is quite good, but playing Sims 2 ruined it a bit and it has more and more problems standing it. First I stopped downloading customs, then playing. I miss that game so much, but I'm just so scared that my computer will crash again and this time for good. ^_^;

I would LOVE to get Sims 2, because from what I see from it, it looks really amazing. But unfortunately my laptop isn't capable of carrying out another game and I have no money to buy it in the first place. T__T

I prolly wouldn't love the Sims2 game so much if I hadn't found modthesims2.com;
you have no idea how much I've downloaded onto it xD

I've got every major country made on there,
aswell as my home time.

Too much free time? C: ;;;

I used to play it, but not anymore. My dad, on the other hand, plays it constantly. In his family, he invites people over at night to be scared to death by ghosts. His yard has 30-40 gravestones in it, and he has wiped out all of the bartenders. He has to keep his sims in the hot tub all night so they don't die.

Basically it's almost the same as the base, it just has extra two scenarios where you have to follow the steps you're told, and it's made especially for laptop users. It doesn't even have any new items. Buying it would be a waste of money.

I used to be completely addicted to Sims2. My favorite thing to do was getting the guys abducted and pregnant :lol: I think all my Sims have a little "alien blood" in them, so once in a while regular Sims will have alien babies. Fun! :lol: I also did the Legacy-challenge, which was a lot of fun (especially getting the Chef on my call-list, for those who knows what I'm talking about :lol:). I haven't played in a long time though, so I've missed most expansions this year. Hmm, now that I think about it it would be a lot of fun to start playing again ;D

Oh yes, I love H&M! I probably buy 90% of my clothes there. They have a lot of awful stuff too, but it really depends what department you go to (they have one called Divided, which is mostly for teens, and there's H&M Trend which is for young adults, and then there's the "regular" Mens/Ladies which I guess appeals most to grown-ups.) :lol:

Sassandra, you can buy the original Sims game- and all of its expansion packs- for around 40 bucks nowadays. Not a bad deal, considering all of the expansion packs.

The Sims 2 is a bit more expensive since it's newer. Each Expansion Pack costs anywhere from 20-30 bucks each, and I THINK it's another 30 bucks for the original game, unless you get it used (am I in the right ballpark, everyone?).

I'm currently working on generation two of my legacy Sims. I take a while, because I tend to have people drink the Elixir of Life all the time. xD

I've wanted to buy the sims forever, and I haven't been able to decide on whether or not I want to get the comp version of the one for my ps2. Which one would you guys recommend?

The Sims 1 was my ultimate favorite game ever, I wouldn't sleep for days on end in order to play that game. The Sims 2 is really good but in no way has as big of a hold on me as The Sims 1 did. I have been getting all the eps hoping something will keep me addicted to as of right now I haven't played an about a month.

Well, somebody's from Maxis got a nice sense of humor, I guess. Naming one of the Neighborhoods after a cemetery? I'm not sure if it exists for real, but Pleasantview was the name of a cemetery in Maine in Stephen King's "Pet Sematary".

Definitely get the PC one. I rented it for the PS2 and the controls were really messed up. The version for the PC is much smoother, plus you can download custom content. :)

J'adore Sims.
I play obsessively, and I'd have to say the best part is Create-A-Family/Body Shop. I love sculpting the faces and making clothes, and the concept of controlling lives makes me feel like God.

I have spent way too much time on this game. XD I have Sims for most of my OCs and my friends OCs, and in some cases their children and their children's children since I've played so long. Likewise I throw in random characters or celebrities to spice things up. (I find it ironic the hair mesh on my Britney Spears sim broke, so she's bald in the CAS. XD)

I have a bunch of custom content, but that does lead me to cut corners and use the money cheat or reduce needs/improve moods. I still have fun though, since there's so much to do. :3

EDIT: Oh, and a site I'd suggest for furniture is this site: http://www.4eversimfantasy.net/index.htm They have beautiful work for any kind of room. I should get more, but I already cut back on my downloads. XD

I love the sims 2, I never seem to play it for long periods of time though. I tend to loose interest after I make the house and get it all set up...[/i]

Ahh...I love the Sims 2. :D It's so addicting...although every time I try to import custom content, it blurs all to hell. Does anyone know how to retain detail on custom pieces? ^^
