Not that I have anything against the game, but unless you have a lot of free time on your hands, you should probably remain adamant about it. There are tons of things to do in that game and the makers were brilliant in designing it, but it's really a huge time-consumer.

Yeah, that's what I think. He says that my OCD would make me really good at it, but I'm afraid that it would also cause me to be unable to stop, and the last thing I need is something else keeping me from getting sleep. :XP

I completely understand, haha. I have sometimes wondered if I would need to drag my mother away from the computer and make her look at me and tell her to go to bed because she has work the next day. But I give her credit for not having played it in a long time.
Her guild mates stay up until about 5 in the morning playing that darn thing.

Nope. I think it's overrated, especially the price you pay to play it.

I have been playing WoW sence my family beta tested it. I don't play it anymore because it got really boring after reaching lvl 60 on my night elf hunter.

I play it from time to time on my brother's computer. I don't want to have to get it myself. I don't like to pay for it every month. *is poor*
On his Wow account I play a human mage. Just barely started it. I'll probably get bored of it soon. :P

i used to play lol
but i didn't have enough patience. i am reeaalllyy hyper, so sitting down and clicking doesn't do much for me.
however, my brother plays it like it's crack. it doesn't seem all that fun, but he will play, and play and play until its five in the morning.
i think it's pretty great :)

Adamant? I think you mean nonchalant. Adamant is the opposite of what it sounds like you're conveying.
I don't play WoW. I tried it before but the battle system is too easy. You just press a bunch of buttons. I play Mabinogi. I like that you don't have to pay to play, even though the game is much more fun when you do pay. You also don't have to be locked into a specific character type so you can be a combo of whatever you want. And if you do decide to spend some money, it's pretty easy to level. There's always something to do. I haven't been playing too much lately because I've had more important things to do...like school work. :|

Mm, no, I meant adamant. Adamant about her decision and opinion about not playing the game.
Nonchalant would be a good thing to be as well, however. That way not as much pressure gets to you about what others say.

I play WoW!
Draenei Shaman, level 75. Im reaaaaally slow at leveling. I've only been playing for a few months, though.
I've got tons of alts, too. Everything is such a different play experiance, and I've done all. The. Zones. In. The. Mainlands. xD
I like WoW. I admit, if I didn't have lots to worry about (school, friends, my future) I would prolly play it... alot more.
The $15 price tag doesn't seem that big to me, mainly because the game is HUGE. I love reading the quests and such, and every person has his own history, ever zone its own issues. itssodetailed ; -; Hell, it took 4 different characters to get through every zone in the game. Yes, ever damn zone in the level 1-60 areas.
Plus, when you've got friends on there, it makes everything a little better.
I guess it doesn't hurt that I'm also a die-hard WW3 fan, and that this was just amazing. To bad I didn't discover how much fun it was sooner. I think the recruit-a-friend system helped me get attached.

I have never played, WoW. I've never had the money nor the bandwidth to do it.
Heck, I haven't played Warcraft at all since I had the original game, where the orcs would yell "Wwwhhhaaattt!!!" when you clicked on them for the fourth time.

I played WoW when my brother ran a server but when it crashed and I couldn't play for free anymore. Well i just didn't have the money to keep my subscription. But I hadn't gotten very far. the server kept crashing and I kept having to restart. Still, I miss those days. It was fun, maybe when I have a steadier source of money I'll start plying again.

It annoys me how people say its addicting as though everyone that plays it gets addicted. ; -;
I swear, we are not all WoW addicts, though it is an expensive constant distraction. That, I agree with. Wholeheartedly. xD<3

A lot of people "hear about how addicting WoW can be", but the simple truth is that a MMORPG is only addicting if the person playing it doesn't have the self control to remove themselves from in front of the computer and do whatever else they need to do or go outside. It's a fun game, sure, and there is plenty of things to do and keep yourself busy while gallivanting around Azeroth, but there are also plenty of 'measures' you can take in the game to help you shuffle off as well... Like parental controls. ; )
I've been playing WoW on and off as much as my schedule permits me since 2006, and because of my terrible need to 'explore' the game to the fullest, I have never, ever reached the Level cap! Such a silly problem to have, but it's a game and I have fun in it. ; )

@Nezzie: because i've never played, i have no judgement calls. all i know is that if i were to play, i would do it often because i have to pay for it.

Ahh, well if you're an easily addicted personality, you might do best to avoid MMOs like WoW and Everquest and yadda yadda yadda- I usually don't register when I'm taking classes unless they don't/won't require much work for me but I understand that in the real world the phrase is actually "Grades before Raids".
If money is the big issue, though, you might look into finding a private server. Those are by-invite, but deliciously free.

No. WoW ruins relationships. And I tend to think of grossly over weight middle-aged men living in their mother's basement munching on chips and trying to fight off pimples when I think of Wow.

They both would rather be on the computer than me...

My boyfriend and I play WoW...he was the one who got me into it. I got addicted to it when I first started out like somewhere during BC. I take breaks from the game time from time though, like recently I got burnt down from raiding quite a bit. I like raiding, but doing Naxx all the time got boring and I didn't care much about Uludar. I prefer the smaller ones like VOA, Ony, OS.
Well, I play my level 80 female dwarf hunter (which is in my boyfriend's server) and a level 80 human priest on an RP server. I was also working on a warlock...I think she is about 73 or so.
