I've played for a few years but I haven't lately because I have better things to do. But yeah I have a few lvl 80 hoard and 2 lvl 80 alliance they're both the same I don't understand why people try and say horde is better :?

I have a lvl 80 Belf hunter named Shalandriel on the server Sister of Elune. She's in epic gear...taking a break though, RL issues to deal with :D

Honestly, you don't need to play THAT much. My guild would raid for about 2-3 hours 3-4 days of the week and I'm one of the best hunters on my server, and that's the only time I'd play. You don't have to play a ton, just gotta find a good group :)

Oh, I love that game, but school and work keep me from playing. Sadly I may have to cancel my subscription until i can find more time. Sad.

I am a Blood Elf Hunter, level 60, names Krendanya, I have a dragonhawk (I think) as my main pet, named him phoenix (sounds lame but i love phoenix) and my secondary pet is a serpent (cant remember the correct name) and I call him Archamedes. My server is Farstrider if anyone ever wants to buddy up or needs help with anything.

I've got what you would call an addictive personality though so it was a no brainer that i'd love the game ;) its just my type of game. I normally play free to play mmorpgs though :P

I think that whole thing is very stereotypical. Im sure there are some people like that but I don't know any. And I know plenty of Wow people. Some of them do look kinda silly but not in the way described, Lol ^_^

I play WoW as well, though not avidly. I play 2-3 hours per day at most, and I've been taking a break from it lately, only really getting on to run a daily or a heroic if I'm needed by my guildies. I, too, am a bit tired of all the stereotypes surrounding those of us who play WoW. Like... "If you play WoW, you're addicted to it." To which I say... "Uh, wut?" I'm not denying that there are people out there who take the game to an extreme. As with anything you do in life, there's such a thing as excess. But not all of us are like that and I'm tired of people assuming that I am because I happen to play a game that I enjoy. It's upsetting, really, and I can't help but take a little offense to such statements, especially when stated so accusingly. But, whatever~ To each his own. I play WoW AND manage to take care of real life business. It's all about time management. *nod nod*

But, yes~ I play both sides. Horde and Alliance. I love the lore in the Warcraft universe. So many interesting stories, characters, places and people groups. It's one of the most imaginative games. And I think that's what makes it so appealing to me. I just love the stories behind the world. Every instance has a background. Every npc has a story. Every raid has a purpose. I just love it so~ ^^

Oh, and another stereotype that I just think is funny (and is an oft talked about topic on my servers trade chat) is that there are no girls who play WoW. I think one person actually said, "There are no girls who play WoW, and whenever you hear a girl's voice in Vent, that's just a father making his daughter talk while he raids." It's funny 'cause it's so not true~ ^^ *is a girl who plays WoW*

I'm thinking of getting back into WoW. I'm currently playing Aion, but it just doesn't have the vastness of WoW and all the special things. Plus I actually think I like the western game style compared to the eastern. Not to mention seeing a bajillion midgets running around or people with humongous heads and tiny tiny bodies is getting annoying.

And I am thinking of switching my gnome to horde blood elf. Anyone have any advice?

Now I'm and Outland Gourmet and I have "The cake is not a lie" achievement.

I'm at 144/160 recipes for another achievement but i don't know where to look other than the AH for other recipes. oh well I know there going to be another recipe sold for the day of the dead and 5 new ones from Thanksgiving. So all I need is to find 10 others really.

I really wish they would come out with a checklist feature for these things. Like for all professions and for all quests.

On the faction switch thing, I switched all my chars to Horde recently and I'm very happy with it. None of them to Blood elf though. I have and Orc rouge an undead Priest and Orc warrior (until I can switch her to goblin) I have a Night elf druid that I'm waiting to switch over until the expansion so she can be a Troll. ^_^ Hopefully they'll make Troll woman blink with this expansion. So far the only ones that do are Deathknight Troll woman.

I ended up switching my Gnome rogue to Belf Rogue. *Sniff, now I'll just have to have a DK gnome* I'm quite happy with it, it does make it more fun, since I hit a bit of a lump with my Gnome and was getting tired of it. Now I enjoy WoW again.

I wonder when Blizzard is going to bring class changes out. xD

I am currently (much like many others in here) taking my time away from WoW for a while to pursue other options. I can't say that I won't play again when the Icecrown dungeons/raids are live, but I certainly won't be sticking around for Cataclysm. (I've spent too much time in Azeroth from the vanilla content and don't care to spend even more time re-visiting updated content.)

I have one Belf lvl 77 Rogue, I don't think I'd have the patients to level more than one character to 80. Plus I'd feel terrible running around on my lower level alt knowing I have flying/vanity pets/etc on my higher one. xD

@spoob try downloading the mods for WoW there is one called quest helper and it really helps if you are just getting started. :)

I used to be so consumed by WoW it was ridiculous... i quit playing a couple months after Wotlk, even though i was doing great it the game was just sucking the life out of me, i had alot of characters, an 80 survival hunter, 72 resto druid, two 70's a fire/frost mage and a enhancement shaman, 68 rogue, 55 death knight, 48 destro warlock, 14 holy priest, and my lvl 4 warlock banker :P i was on the realm Kirin Tor in a guild called Relentless dawn we were doing great in BC the best raiding guild on the server and then when wotlk rolled around our guild took a dump and couldnt focus anymore....i quit for a few weeks and came back to them doing better but then they went back into that hole and alot of the best raiders transfered thus the guild broke apart.... i loved that game but it was getting in the way of my life, it interfered with everything, my job, my relationship, my friendship, my family.... i will never let a game do that to me again >.<

So patch 3.3 landed a few days ago, and my house was up until one am last night running the new Icecrown five mans. :'D I have only this to say- I freaking LOVE those dungeons! <3 Other than geeking out over the patch and thinking Jania has gotten significantly less intelligent over the years, I've been trying to level that priesty of mine. c: Unfortunately, running him with my brother's druid has spoiled me and now it's hard to solo him. o_o; Lathy's also ONE PET away from the fawn, and that means more Feralas to get the last beacon I need. :B Joy of joys.
