Anyone here play Horde on Maelstrom? I started playing my characters on there again recently and I have a guild on there that I've had for almost 3 years. It's just me and my sis in there at the moment. Makes it hard to level it.
I'm in a similar pickle on Hellscream with my horde. It's only me and my bf most days. So doing heroics is a pain and there and we haven't even though about raids yet. IR sad not panda.
So... having a poor guild (basically only me and the bf) isn't all bad. We did an old raid last night. One of the ones in Silithus...not the one with the crazy first boss though. OMG we got our asses kicked on it. Trying to 2 man an old 40 man just doesn't work lol.
It was fun seeing bosses I had never seen before even if we just face pounded them and their wasn't any effort. Plus I still needed CC rep so it was win even more. It reminded me of D2's playstyle. Smash, Loot, Repeat. Pretty fun actually. XD We're going back their sometime soon so I can finish off old set quests XD hilarious! XD I have so many damn scarubs in my bag it's ridiculous.
Kinda sad that it the first time getting that achievement on my toon. I was a rogue at the time that raid was first released and I wasn't willing to drop Alch to get engineering to boost people and "make myself useful" so I didn't raid with her. We're going to do some old heroics for achievements too. It should be pretty cool to get those done.
If anyone plays horde then message me or something and maybe we can be RealID friends. My sis and I just got done doing a heroic (my first on this character) and we got grouped with this guy who was a real jerk. I made a accidental pull >.> and I did die during a boss fight. (I had never been to the instance) But this guy just ruined my mood for instancing ;_; Would like to group with some people who aren't so rude.
Burande, pugging is the worst. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I'd be happy to RealID, too. Frankly, I don't think anyone is really going to come into this thread who I'd mind having the info, so for anyone who wants to add me, here you go:
I know this sounds stupid, and don't judge me.. but I actually met my boyfriend 5 years ago on wow and we've been dating ever since! (He moved in with me last year)
I guess you CAN find love anywhere.
I have a lot of characters, both factions, but I will ALWAYS be a holy priest at heart. There's no class I love more than that!
I'm on Steamwheedle Cartel, if anyone happens (though I doubt it) to be on that server. I'm contemplating giving out my realID, as menewsha isn't full of untrustworthy people but I'm still hesitant ^^;

I have an 85 Alliance hunter on Feathermoon. Even though I don't play her, my Horde Priest is Disc and I love her dearly and she will always be my main even if some of my other characters get played more than her. She was my first 60 (back when 60 was the max) I looove to heal, though I'm not real good at it anymore.

I'm the LAST person who can judge you about this, lol!

I was skeptical about this too, but hey I was wrong.
I hear about people meeting online like that from time to time and think "that would never happen to me". But then a few months ago, my opinion was instantly changed <3
@ Liquid Diamond: Thats awesome! I met my bf at a sci fi convention. It was in a hotel and there was a HUGE after party during the evening for the whole weekend. LOTs of people dancing and drinking in costume. As usual with me I got drunk and some jerk Klingon wouldn't leave me alone because I was in a fedie "red shirt". I'm sure he was just roleplaying the drunk klingon, but he still wouldn't let me leave his lap. Then out of no where this crazy guy in a kilt and dragon mask demands his "Dragon sacrifice" It was one crazy night. I ended up giving him my number. We laughed because it's normally the honourable man saving the maiden from the dragon not the other way around.
I think it's better to meet someone at an event your into rather than at the bar. Then you already know you have at least one thing in common. :)
Now we play wow, and attended conventions together. He's like my body guard. He growls at guys that try and get to close or take pics of me in costume. It's funny. XD
Hehe, you guys are really nice ^^;
Adding Arkkath and Anaxilea to my RealID friends next time I'm on!
Nephilia, that's a great story! *sighs* I love romance :) Especially when its in the last place you'd think you'd find it.
I agree though... meeting someplace where you both have a common interest is better than a bar.
Seems like love is in the air with this thread XD
Nephilia, that seriously made me giggle - in the best way possible. It seems so surreal! And hey, it makes an awesome story.
Arkkath and I are generally on at the same times, so never be afraid to whisper one of us if you want or need to do something. I have a few lowbies of varying levels alongside my 85, and he has... well, a ton xD. I'm sure we could run with you, one way or another.
My sis and I accidentally queued for a heroic (wasn't ready for it) and found ourselves a really nice pally tank. He was easy to heal, and not an ass :D. I miss having a pocket tank. My husband was my last one. But he's not playing anymore :(
I miss my WoW account. >.< Apparently, after it timed out, someone still managed to hack it and steal my stuff?! I don't understand it, but Blizzard fixed it. Anyway...
Drak'thul
Lusina
71 Undead Rogue ( Subtlety, FTW )
Ahh, she even has an eyepatch. GAHHHH, I miss her! Dx And wow, I just checked out the new features on WoW's website.. o.o; They are much more in-depth now with their character descriptions.
I had a friend that had quit playing and his account was hacked. I was weirded out cause at first I thought it was him playing. He was on his Deathknight all the time and in Karazhan. O.o and he never responded when I whispered him. My sis talked to him personally though and found out he still wasn't playing and that he had been hacked. We had to persuade him to change his pw cause he was just gonna leave his account hacked since he didn't plan on playing anymore.
That happened to my bf. His alliance guild knows him irl and the same thing happened. Running old instnaces/dungeons and other things. They put an authenticator on his account too. It was messed up. People in his guild all sent messages to the GMs and he came back after that. They upgraded some of his gear for him and gave him a month of free time for it. (he wasn't playing at the time so he figures it was to get him back in)

Wait, what? Did they switch the credit card info, or were they playing off of his actual subscription money? If I really didn't care, I'd still be pissed off if someone were using my money to play for free.
I'm not sure, as far as I know it wasn't being charged to him.
My sis got hacked recently too-ish. She reactivated her WoW after a long hiatus. She had to remove her authenticator cause it wasn't synced correctly. Later that night of her reactivating she was disconnected and I saw via RealID that a level 1 tauren named something like fdsdfjaf logged in. We think they had her info to log in all along but couldn't take advantage of it while the authenticator was on. She reported it and her PW was immediately changed
