Oh yeah, pugging dungeons is the worst. you cant always /ignore people there.

But yeah, depending on her age and what you dont want her seeing. you should put on maturity filters and have her leave trade, and possibly gen. chat.

Maybe make it easy for her, and make a macro on her account that she can use on all toons?

yeah that sounds like a good idea. I had two accounts under my name from back in the day. since she's a minor and I'd be paying with my credit card anyway I think I might be able to play on that one. I only upgraded one account to Cata, the other one is on WOTLK. Since she'd need to roll up another toon it would probably be fine for her to have only upto that level for now. . .Then again she loves wolves and I think she'd enjoy playing Worgen. *ponders* My bfs other server has a guild filled with local people that I think I'm comfortable enough to let her be around. I would have moved there myself if they weren't Alliance Scum bags. *shakes fist*

Now that my sister and her bf are playing again things are getting a bit better. I have 3 pieces of my Mercurial set and a few enchants. besides, I just bought her Terraria on Steam for her birthday. I like it because steam kinda gives me info on how much she plays it. XD

So a whole bunch of info on patch 4.3 was released today about the new dungeons.
They look super awesome so far and it's really going to build up to the final confrontation with Deathwing.

Yes the screen shots look AWESOME. And...Now that we have part of our first set and enchants we were able to get into a level25 guild with over 500+ people. It's exciting. I'm working hard to get rep within the guild so I can get the pats and mounts that are a part of the guild rewards. and the recipes.

Though for my game play I'm more curious to see the new dark moon fair. I've never done anything with the fair before so I think it'll be interesting to see what it involves now. I need to grind some brewfest tokens to re do the dang "brew of the year" achievement. Some how I'm missing the tasting of 2 brews in the achievement. o.O Perhaps I should contact a GM about it.

I'm watching the wealth of new Diablo 3 beta footage on youtube. It looks like fun. :heart:

they're all random levels at the moment.
I pretty much level them in MM, and then when the time comes that they hit 85 and i plan on raiding with them...i'll switch up the specs.
Probs make a PVP only hunter as well.

Just have to actually level them.
Which, is going to take a long time, since im taking an extended break from WoW at the end of the month.

I was kind of iffy about the recent Firelands nerf, but I'm not complaining right now.
We just downed Majordomo Staghelm and I got my T12 shoulders from him. First in my guild to get the 4 piece bonus for this tier. /flex
We Did a few attempts on Ragnaros too. Got him to about 70% tonight.

I think the nerfs are lame. Of course, I've only downed one boss PERSONALLY since the last nerf, but I know Peanut and Arkkath and the rest of our guild, and they could definitely have taken on the others without the nerf. Now, I just get tons of IMs from Arkkath that all read the same thing: "one-shot."

Yeah, before the nerf, we would have gotten then all down eventually. I mean, that's what progression is after all.
With my raid group, we should have no problem one-shotting the first 6 bosses. The exception maybe being Alysrazor.

I'm sad I was in a crap guild for most of the un-nerfed stuff so there as no chance for me to see how hard it was. I'm working on gear right now I'm at 352 so it's heroics and Troll stuff for a while. Seeing the new teir sets being posted up is making me drool. Though they haven't posted Priest yet.

I feel "meh" about the paladin set. It's supposed to be based off our Ancient Guardian, but would have been much cooler if we got wings for our back.. not our head.

I like it. It's a traditional holy warrior look. Much better than the mighty morphin power pallys they had before imo. Pallys have always had strange teir sets, and every now and then somehow they get what looks like robes... Made out of plate? wtf bliz? lol.

I like the warrior set, even though it reminds me more of a DK than warrior.

I figure the paladin dress work in 1 of 2 ways.
1. It's a series of interlocking metal plates that give protection, yet are still able to move. Sort of like a plate battle-skirt, but longer.
2 It's a cloth robe with metal plates embedded or attached to it.

Oh, I see. It's a dress when a Paladin wears it, but a robe when your Mage wears it. :lol:

Well to me, all clothies and druids wear robes.
Dresses are the items with no stats on them like your white wedding dress :P

Oh how I do love my dresses *-* I swear I was made to play a blood elf.

So who's watching blizzcon? Pandaren as a new race and monks as a new class.
My guess is that they will either be neutral or alliance. If so, what will horde get? My vote goes to naga or ogres.

Ogres probably. We've all effed the Naga far too many times. We killed their queen.

Okay well Pandaren will start neutral and you will be able to choose Horde or Alliance once you finish the starting zone.
There's no announcement on when it's coming out, since they just revealed it at blizzcon.

I had a lot of rage over the weekend with the announcement of this expansion. The main features in it don't really speak to me. I have no interest in playing a Panda or Leveling a new Character Class. And, although I enjoy collecting the various vanity pets, I can't say I really care for the whole Pokemon "game inside a game" that's being added. I never got into that game. All the things they first said about REALLY put me off.

I've cooled down a lot now. I do however really like the Asian feel this expansion. The environments so far look jaw dropingly beautiful. I also like that the skills are being re done and will be swapable. An end to respec fees is most welcome. I'm also hoping the 85-90 content is awesome (and I don't blow threw it in a few hours).

I wonder what the next patch will be and if the level cap will be raised agai--- umm or did it already come out?

The next patch is 4.3 and it should be out within the next few weeks. It's adding 3 new dungeons and a new raid which end with Deathwing being defeated.

The next expansion does not have a release date yet, but by going by Blizzard's release schedule, we can expect to see it next fall.

As for the expansion itself. If you don't like the pandas, the monks or the pet battle system, simply don't play them. No one is forcing you to, so there's no need to rage about it.
The Pandaren were there since Warcraft 3. One was a hero unit. They've always been there, but Blizz just hasn't found a way to bring them into WoW until now. They were originally supposed to be the Alliance race in Burning Crusade, but it didn't fit well enough.

I get why they're incorporating the Pandaren, but that doesn't mean I like them. There are so many incredible races in the Warcraft universe that I'd rather play - not just because they're cool, but because I feel like their backstories and lore are more fully developed, and having seen them from the other side (for example, killing naga), I'd love to see their actual racial point of view.

I am, however, very excited for monks, and I'll be playing around with a heal spec through that.
