I wonder what the new dances are going to be. What I do like about the Pandaren is that they open the door for more Neutral races. It also leaves open the the "pattern" of the expansions. People were thinking it goes, 2 Races, hero class, 2 races, hero class. But they gave us a reg class and new race.

It makes me think they'll eventually have some of the blood elves convert back to high elves and be playable on both sides. We don't really need more elves, but people like them so it'll probably happen eventually.

Yea I do like the starting as neutral thing. Hopefully n future expansions we'll see more races like that.
I hope they don't add more hero classes though. We really don't need more of that. People think that since they start at 55 with a DK they are automatically the best thing in the world, yet that have no idea what they're doing.

I doubt they'd make high elves playable. Since they look exactly like blood elves, but with blue eyes, it would make too much confusion after years of seeing blood elves on the horde.

Isn't that argument sort of null and void since Horde and Alliance Pandaren are going to look the same? Plus I remember Blizz saying they wouldn't be doing neutral races ever, but then they did this so anything is open in my opinion. Sure they don't stay neutral for long, however, I don't think it's that big of a leap. Heck I could see them eventually going down the path of D&D and having alignment something separate from races. Since there's good and bad in every one. Also most of the current Horde races aren't down with the new leader and only stay out of respect for Thrall. It would be a RPers playground.

I think your right about the hero classes too. I tried them but I never got past 58/68 or something like that. I like the starting story but then it just leads you to the boredom of BC/WOTLK...which wouldn't be so bad if you had someone else to play with you. I find even dailies are fun when grouped with the right people. Though when first getting into instances people are always like that no matter class because your not really shown how to play your class while questing.

The new Diablo style skills are going to be interesting. It'll be nice not to have to spend points in something because you HAVE too. At least at first. I'm sure people will eventually crack the code and find the best new cookie cutter paths for max dps/healing. But now we can switch between DPS/Healing (for me) more easily...I might actually heal again.

Though one thing I don't really like is having to learn to play your class again with every expansion.

It's different though. The pandas will be new, so right off the bat, people will be used to them on both side.
In the case of blood elves, they've been around for years and have been horde. That's what people are used to seeing them a, and that's what they'll stay.

I highly doubt Blizzard will make it so you can choose your alignment regardless or race. That's not the style of game that WoW is. There may be different major villains that come along, but ultimately it comes down to Horde vs Alliance and those 2 factions have their defining races that make them up. That isn't going to change.

True, but a lot of people highly doubted that Blizz would add Pandaren to begin with, or any neutral faction. Also Blood Elves to Horde was also a shock. With some of the quest lines in the starter zones of the Forsaken it seems like they are one string away form breaking free of the horde. Or being kicked out.

I can't wait to try it though for good or bad. XD

It was actually pretty split down the middle about the pandaren.
They were in Warcraft 3, and once WoW came out, some people have been wanted them in WoW and others didn't.
This has been going on for years, but only now is it making a huge reappearance since the expansion was officially announced.

yeah, I remember when it was an April fool joke and people were disappointed about not being able to play them. Same with Ogres.

I love wow its one of the greatest mmos out there ive spent atleast 8-9yrs on nothing but mmorpgs ive playe moslty everysingle one on the market as of now.


And about the pandarians they were in the wow lore back in vanilla but didnt show much info about them, whe tbc released there lore was removed and overshadowed by sunwell and illidan.

eq2 has always had the evil-neutral-good side to choose.
so the whole neutal panda race is nothing new to mmos but isnt really needed in wow being as it might greatly effect the tides of horde vs, alliance pvp as no one will imo have the urge to raid enemy towns.

I have a bunch of alts too. Mostly because I meet people at sci fi conventions that play and they invite me to join their guild. I like to at least check out other servers. My mains however are forever on Hellscream. I play with my bf there, also my sister and her bf are on my main server. :)

yeah i enjoy playing on diff servers and diff chars, just i need a wow buddie cause the grind tends to get very annoying.

We're a raiding guild, but not a super mega serious one that raids for like 8 hours every night. We still like to push progression though. We have our casual and pvp members too if lots of raiding isn't your thing. We're all awesome and fun to hang out with.

Is it horde or alliance?

It's Horde, and we're currently recruiting... unfortunately, I think the only two classes we aren't looking for right now are warrior and rogue Dx that being said, you'd still be welcomed in, but you might find it hard to squeeze into the progression raid!

Anyone wanna start up a alt with me. We can level up together and stuff would be a blast xD

i mainyl do pvp on alts till i hit 80 then i do randoms since on alts i speed them through the game and dont bother with side things, my mains through so much stuff.

my first main i had back when i first started but got bored of alliance on the server when i got back into wow during cata i missed out on the whole lich exp pretty much.

So, my guild is recruiting some fresh blood for 4.3.
As one of the officers, I'm tasked with finding some new people to fill the ranks.
Are any of you WoW players looking for a new guild?
We're a raiding guild primarily, but we do have a new pvp lovers too. We're looking to push progression heavily in 4.3 because we slacked off a bit during 4.2 what with summer break and all.
We aren't limited to progression raiding, however. We do casual and transmog raids fairly often too.
Preferably we'd like some max level players, but it's not restricted to that.

We're xRaided of Thunderlord, if anyone is interested.

You do seem to pop into the forum a lot for someone who doesn't have any interest in the game, though.

I wonder if they're going to up the amount of toons on one server you can have now that they're adding the new class. I know a lot of people that have it maxed out already but still want to play a monk.

I'm absolutely certain they will.
There's talk of keeping the original limit of 50 characters total, but not having a limit on servers, so if you wanted you could have all 50 on one server. That's a bit unreasonable and would cause a lot of server strain.
I think it would be reasonable to increase the limit to 15 or 20.

There's nothing wrong with guys playing female characters. I've got a couple myself.

The 'family' guild I'm usually a part of in MMOs consists of my close friends and best friend, and my best friend's dad, uncle, and aunt. Her uncle ALWAYS plays a girl, without fail, and my best friend ALWAYS plays a boy. xD

When asked about it, both of them respond the same way. "It's eye candy!"

IK there is nothing wrong with it but when I start making Machinimas/Music Parodies it would be weird having a dudes voice coming from a chick character and I want to use my main character. I will keep all my other chick characters the way they are (only 2 others)

I got my first toon to 90 last night. I have to say, I absolutely love everything about this expansion.
The quests, scenery, music, story. Everything is fantastic.

There's also so much stuff to do once you hit 90. Dailies everywhere, lots of dungeons and scenarios. I worked on my Lorewalkers rep last night and got my flying disc mount.
