The other week I finished the Kyou Kara Maoh. It's a great series, and was almost disappointed by the ending...o_o;; But thank god I havent.

Anywho...favorite charcters? o_o If anyones seen it.

I have seen it, yeah. Amazingly coincidentally, I finished watching it last week, too! I, too, was disappointed there wasn't more story. I really wanted to know more about the characters.

Conrart's my favorite. I really wanted to know more of his story, darn it. There were so many loose ends that weren't answered!

However, I rented them from Netflix, and they indicate it's a "seven disc series" but they only have six. Other rental places only have six as well, so maybe another disc is forthcoming? I hope. I've seen other series that just stop, and I hope they finish the story with this one.


I guess this means we'll have to write our own endings!

i was able to see up to 30-40 something episodes before youtube took them off. i havent read the manga yet.

Yesh, this anime is indeed funny and random. I haven't seen the end, though, because I was watching it with my roommate, and she was the one buying the stuff. X-D My absolute favorite characters (I simply can't decide between them!) are Gunter and Wolfram. Okay, and I better not be the only one who thinks Wolfram is Draco Malfoy in anime form!!! X-D I'm serious--the first time I saw him, those words instantly came out of my mouth.

This is a lovely series! I especially like Gunter and Wolfram. Sometimes the series gets bogged down in the serious story parts, so I like when it takes itself lightly. Like Yuki Gunter. XD And the bee bears. And the evil koala. Yeah. Funny stuff.

Oh, yes, the bee bears! ^_^ I loved the part of that episode when Yuri and Wolfram were getting into that argument in the room with the eggs... like young newlyweds. ^_____^ And who couldn't love Kenji the sandbear??!!

Do you know if the novels have been translated anywhere? I'd love to read them, but my Japanese is about on the level of a four year old.

Honestly, I have no idea. X-P As I say, I'm not the one keeping up with the series; that's my roommate's department. I didn't even know there were novels, lol!

i finish watching it long ago and it was one of my favorite i think cause it was so funny, it adventure + fantasy + comedy = my favorite type of anime and the character i like best was probably the wolfram cause he get all jealous and stuff and he just so cute and funny. so is the sand bear, the bee bear and yuri ^-^

Aww.. who can NOT love Wolfram? He's just too darn cute. I saw an advertisement for the Wolfram Science Institute the other day and just started laughing while standing in the hall... I can only imagine how it looked to an outsider...

I just recently saw all the episodes now X3

I love this series~ it's kind of slow considering how many episodes there are but it's so entertaining and light-hearted compared to other series. The drama was fairly limited and mostly it was all humorous.
I like that there's no annoying main female character. All the females are actually cool and funny :D And of course all the guys are hot XD

I like pretty much all the characters, but my favorites are Yuuri, Conrad, Gwendel and of course Gunter~
The sandbear was so adorable *_* And I was quickly hooked on the ending song.

There are like...about...50++ or was it 60+ episodes of them?
Well, anyway, it IS a loooooonnnng story.

Put aside the fact how Yuuri enters the world, the other look so good. Yuuri is nice, wolfram is cute, Conrard is handsome, Gwendal is Cool, Gunther is ...is... bushie~~~Maou is JUST awesome~!(I separate Maou and Yuuri, they both just seem like 2 people.)

I like the scene where Yuuri proposed to Wolfram. hmmm...and talking about female characters, I quite like wolfram's cousin, the golden hair one...forgot her name for this time being...

It is a funny anime, is one of my favourite.

So I just got the Box Set of season 1 ~ It's very limited edition so you all should pick it up quick! Most of Geneon's titles go out of print soon :( I hope one day there will be a season 2 Box Set.

I really like KKM, there's nothing else like it. I <3 Wolfram.. especially in his pick nightgown.

I'm like 3 DVDs from the end. I adore this show! It's really really cute! :3 I just love the fact that Gwendal is secretly obsessed with cute things...like Bando-kun! :XD

He's just hilarious, adorable and absolutely amazing, but so much like a teenage girl. Isn't he like 82 years old or something?
I really like Weller Konrad too. He kicks butt.
But Wolfram is my favorite.
