And she claims to be a fan of the series. Pfft.

Those 2 have zero chemistry and it is painfully obvious in any interactions between them, both on and off the set. It doesn't help that half the time she has this expression her face... *twitch*

I'm of the opinion that he didn't know what he was getting into and now seriously regrets it to the point of being uncomfortable in his own life. Hence the looking increasingly like a hobo (to try and distance himself from the image perhaps?) It seems pretty evident from interviews that he doesn't like the source material..

*has thought about this far too much* Also I bought my tix to the midnight showing today. Now I need to finish my Gryffindor scarf

Seiki: Recent interviews with her seem to indicate that she doesn't really like the series.... or the fans...

You get to go to the midnight showing? Awesome.
I have to wait until December 6th to see it. :(

Ever since word of the movie was out, my bf and I agreed we had to go see it at the premiere... you get the best sense of the fanbase that way. (Also the previews were so lulzy that we can't wait for the full effect).

I wanted to go on the 21st (not the midnight showing, but still the first day) and had been planning on it, but then my dad got laid off his job, so we can't afford to now. >.<
But on the sixth the theater is doing this food drive thing. If you bring in a can of food, you get a free ticket to a movie of your choice. And Twilight will still be in theaters then. So we're doing that.
I don't want to wait, though. D:

Aww that sucks Cherry. D :

I'm picking all my friends up in my Jess-mobile (aka: My sexy soccer mom Mini Van that a teenage girl drives) and then heading to the movies. Either friday or Saturday. Friday I might not have a car so I'll be getting a ride with my Twinzz and going with them and then everyone else Sat. : D
But..I can't wait!!:eager:

I'm going to the midnight showing too!

And since she's clearly not into the story anymore, then we can replace her for New Moon. I hate Kristen Stewart. Horrible actress, and she doesn't look the part.

O.o you can't replace a main characters actress, it throws everything off balance!!

Wow, you guys are friendly... *headdesk*

I'm really not picky, but one thing that I can't stand is when they change primary characters...

Yes you can, especially if the actress is better and fits the role more accurately! I have always been anti-Kristen for Bella. I would rather have Camilla Belle and I can't stand her either.

Yeah... I can't be part of this discussion cause I just have a hard time being that critical !

Anyway I think she's a good Bella... *shrugs*

I can't do that I guess, haha. I can't really critique things too well, all I care about is enjoying them.

Haha, it would still be too bad :P. As much as I understand it it always bothers me when people are so unhappy with movie translations of books, lol.

I generally love adaptations. I'm picky about certain things if I'm a super fan, but I never hate them.

That's good, lol. Personally, even if I'm disappointed by something in the adaptation I'm generally happy with it. Not to mention the fact that I have numerous times not even read the book until I saw the movie !

Its always better to read it before the movie because you get the full thing. I like the adaptations because they give us a physicalization of a concept which allows us to see the story more clearly when we reread it.

Well, often it's because I wasn't aware of/interested until I'd seen the movie, so... it's not really to be helped. Besides, I like being able to visualize what's being described. Usually, I can't, based on descriptions alone, form a clear enough picture in my head.
