I'm half way through Twilight and I love it......

O my i read the Twilight series and i instantly fell in love with Edward he is AMAZING Jacob was ok but still I LOVE EDWARD.....the book series was like OMG i gotta keep reading nonstop and i didnt wanna put the book down

Wow i have read the books and im like feakin out about the movie im like REALLY excited and i cant wait....i cant go the opening night though which is really depressing but im goin on saturday

I just think of them as separate things that have the same characters and general stories... can't be disappointed when you don't know anything to expect.

It is 3:30 am and I have just gotten back from the movie.

It was at least an entertaining 2 hours.... if not a particularly masterful example of film (from a purely technical standpoint). There is a Harry Potter preview before it that got a lot of cheers from the audience (even more than the actual movie).

Someone's got to tell me about Edward sparkling. I want to know how it went. xD

The sparkle was full of fail. They had a shimmer sound when he sparkled >>

I'll be blogging about it later today sometime. I haven't yet decided whether to stay up or go to bed for a couple of hours before school.

At least, I do. I mean, my imagination is vivid enough that I'm imagining characters and scenes while I'm reading the book(s) and then here's the movie and more often than not, its moderately to drastically different than what I was picturing in my head.
In he case of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, it was just wrong. xD;

Yeah, you remember those cheap little toy wands for little girls that would make that poor-quality ear-shattering "SHRRRAAAIIIINNNNGG" noise?

I mentioned it to my mom (who I got to read the book and she's almost done) and she said that what came to mind was the noise from Star Trek when they got teleported. xD

It was kinda like a windchime-y noise.

Are you absolutely sure that it wasn't just part of the background music that was just accentuating his sparkliness? Or was it like, totally quiet and then "TLLIINNNGG~"?

It may well have been part of the background music... but was definitely meant to be a representation of the sparkle. (although in general the music wasn't that great)
