They are basically amazing books. I keep reading them over and over again. . . which results in my mom teasing me. Haha.

I love these books and, despite whatever the fangirls might say about me, I love Jacob. <3 But I think Edward is better for Bella.

Okay, now I'd like to say something. D: Twilight and its sequels are wonderful books, but I'm not liking all the HP hate in the first few posts of this thread. I don't know if that continues throughout the thread, but really. Do we need to hate one book in order to love another? I am a proud member of the Harry Potter fandom, but I also adore Twilight.

Because Rowling, now richer than the queen of England, is really that concerned about her book being knocked off the #1 spot. Right.

I've read the first two books and while the first one was decent, the second one was very unsatisfying. It's not a bok in itself, only a stepping stone in a series, and if it weren't so blatantly obvious it might've been more enjoyable. As it is, I'd rather read other series.

I love them, and own all three. I thought I'd be kind of lost when the 7th HP book came out, but Stephenie Meyer has replaced HP as my new series. Personally, I think that they're about equal in writing ability. This shouldn't be focused on bringing HP down. I see it more as the end of one era and the beginning of another.

sounds intresting i would read them if i didn't promise myself not to get any new books or borrow from the library until i read all the ones i own and haven't read yet.

Oh my gosh i love those books me and my best freind are always talking about it and im soooo impatient for the next one to come out i want to know what Bella and Edward do and what Jacob is going to do when Bella gets turned. oh it just bugs me soooo much!

Ahhh, I love this series a lot <3 I remember I read the first one in a day (then again, I tend to read all books from series I like in a day). The only thing that was impressive about that was... I was reading it on a plane trip back home from Florida, running on one hour of sleep. xD

In any case, my favourite character would have to be Jasper - which is why Eclipse made me so happy~ Graah, I can't wait for Breaking Dawn now. Next summer is too far away~!

A friend of mine forced all the three books on me and told me to read them
I did, just out of curiousity of what the whole big deal was about.
I hated them.

OMFG!! i love the twilight series!! i am currently reading eclipse, i almost literaly consumed the first two, i red themin less than a week!!

My sister read them all in a week. And she doesn't read. At all.

It took me a bit longer to finish them, but only because I had to buy them all first. And I have to say, I LOVED them. I know a lot of people dislike them, and say that only the uneducated read them, but I am an educated reader, and I have to say, these are going on my shelf right next to Poe and Dickens. And Mercedes Lackey, but we won't go there.

I just love this series! I can't wait for the next book!

I LOVE this series. Bella's character reminds me a lot of my own in a lot of weird ways. xD

I bought Eclipse almost the moment it came out, and now I'm dying for the fourth book to come out. They left us with such a huge cliffie. D;

But I hope the next book is the last book. As much as I love it, I don't want her to drag out the series too much. ^^;

xD i finished twilight in 8 hours, New Moon in 9, and eclipse in 10 hours. yes I have a lot of time on my hands. My parents thought there was something wrong with me because i wouldn't stop reading.

you know, i've heard so much about this series over the past few years, but i have yet to actually go to b&n to buy any of the books >.> i would really like to read it though, everyone seems to love it.

I think I like Twilight the best out of the three though. Then it's Eclipse. I didn't really enjoy reading New Moon. It was good, but I didn't really like the storyline.

I just started reading this series (after being demanded to by my cousin) and even though I'm still in the first chapter I already love it.

I absolutely love the Twilight series. The end of Eclipse made me want to scream. I'll try to say this without spoilers though I don't think it's needed but I'll still try. I love Jake. I don't know why but I thought that Jake and Bella were simply adorable together. Both guys had their aspects of danger but Jake was just sweet compared to What I always thought was where Edward was lacking. I know there was a reason but the absence of it was still there.

If there are spoilers allowed or if we just aren't worried about it and talking freely I'll gladly continue my ranting. :D

Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse are the best books ever. Personally I feel bad for Jacob because he is totally heartbroken but then I just think that Bella and Edward belong together.
I about cried when Edward left Bella in New Moon. It made me really mad at Edward. Edward just needs to get it through his head that Bella loves him and doesn't want to be with anyone else and change her.
If Bella got changed though she would have to sacrifice a lot. I can't even imagine how Charlie would feel.
I have been Reading lots of Fanfiction lately and in lots of then when the people change Bella they give her different powers.
I really would like to see what would happen to Bella when she becomes a vampire. Like how she would look and if she really did recieve any powers. I really can't wait for Breaking Dawn to come out.

I ABSOLUTLY LOVED ALL THREE OF THE BOOKS AND I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THE OTHERS THAT STEPHANIE MAKES. I ALSO CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE MOVIE COMES OUT!
