i'm a teacher... they didn't give me summer off... i just decided not to teach summer school... XD
24 days of 6 hours of 80 of the worse kids plus planning and making tests is just not worth 5-6k... >.<

*shrugs* There are funerals but not "celebrations".

I would find a celebration to be a bit well.. wrong.

i think the japanese has a festival called the obon or something that celebrates the dead... XD

I know that some cultures do celebrate the dead. XD
Day of the dead for example, when 'the spirits walk the earth' and there are festivals to honor them, welcome them, and make them comfy for thier temporary time on earth.
Halloween used to be about that as well, but it's changed from it's true meaning.
And there are a ton of other holidays out there celebrating the dead and death. ^^

And celebrate the life she HAD. Like... how nice Seito was, and how er... diligent a questor she was, which is a positive mark for the character she had!

Yeah but I'm an american girl so my knowledge of those places are well.. pretty much... nothing. ^^;; I was born in korea but not there long enough to learn about it. Dx

and no... cuz i'm young they "try" to take advantage of me thinking that i can easily be tricked to giving them good grades... lol... didn't work for them... XD

but then i like some japanese stuff cuz of anime, so i learned a few things here and there... and my parents are really traditional chinese, so i end up knowing some stuff there too... XD
