its kinda sad that mods dont really interract with users on other sites like gaia (much) i would normally stay in the exchange there and maybe twice would i see a thread made by a mod. and it was the same mod both times. and i would never really see them anywhere else.
on here, even josh will talk to us. XD you never see any of the admin on other sites taking the time from their admin duties to tlak and converse with the general public.
i hear they used to... but. in recent years *cough ever since ive been a member of these sites which is over 4 years... cough* i havent seen it happen.

i love menewsha and its little community. its not so little now.. but its still nice to have interraction with the admin and mods. makes it seem like they care, and were not just another number XD

I don't have much expierence with mods so I don't have much to say. But I don't see Gaia Online moderaters going in forums much or anything. I think people constantly get banned on Gaia for things they didn't really do D': . It happened to my friends a lot, it was sad. But then again, Gaia Online has a huge population so I can't expect them to keep up >w<. The moderators here seem to interact with users though, it's very nice of them to be friendly n__n

The moderators on Menewsha are vicious, mean, and cruel to the users. -gets paid by Gaia Online for saying that-

Actually, the moderators on here have done a wonderful job so far. From my experience with them, they seem patience and hand you a warm with such kindness, that you want to get warned again, just so they can give you another.

The mods here are nice, they're involved with the members. That's very important.
The mods on Gaia seem like bots, I joined gaia in '04 and I've only seen a mod around the forums like 5 times. xD

I have never interacted with any of the mods/Admins on any of the other sites I belong to.

Here though, everyone is very nice and friendly and I think it helps when the people who run the site get to know the "players" and actually listen to what they say. Too many sites don't do this and they end up losing them as a result.

Some of the guild moderators on Gaia are REALLY active in the Captain's guild. Window and Loki are always around to help us out with guild related questions, and they're really nice people too.

And I do like the mods, admins, and developers here on Menewsha. They all seem quite nice aswell.

Haha well being a moderator on another site I would say we interact rather well with the users. We try to work out problems rather than just ban the person. When it comes to confrontations with most of us mods (note not all we all have our own way of handling things) but as I was saying when it comes to confrontations we try to view both sides of things and work things out so that we can come out with a mutual understanding and move on from the problem.

Loki's an awesome mod. ^-^ I don't know Window much, but the few times I've spoke to him he was very nice~

I don't blame the mods on Gaia for not interacting a lot with the users. I mean there is such a small amount of mods compared to members, so they must already be up to their necks i n hundreds if not thousands of pms a day from users. And of course they deserve free time, so I don't know where they could really squeeze in the time to interact.

I do enjoy how the mods blend in very well in this site though on the forums. If you took away names and avatars, you wouldn't be able to tell their a mod, so that's very good imo.

I agree, mods on Gaia, you mostly never ever see them.

Yep, thanks. We try to interact with the community, but you don't realise how normal we all are xD I read a lot of the threads on the forum, just not reply. If you've made a thread - there's a good chance that i've read it.

It's just that we're all so busy that we can't chat all day :) But, I do browse all day :P

I'm the opposite, I haven't spoken with Loki as much as Window, but they're both always helpful and friendly.
