The Red-tailed Wheatear (Oenanthe chrysopygia), also known as the Rusty-tailed Wheatear, Persian Wheatear or Afghan Wheatear, is a small passerine bird breeding in mountainous areas of south-west and central Asia. It belongs to the wheatear genus Oenanthe which was formerly placed in the thrush family Turdidae but is now in the Old World flycatcher family Muscicapidae. The Red-tailed Wheatear used to be considered a subspecies of the Kurdistan Wheatear (O. xanthoprymna) but is now often regarded as a separate species.

It was 8:30 PM on a crisp September night, and the Defreux-Chanue Men in Fashion Award Show & Banquet '09 was well under way, although one of its prestigious invitees was just making his way through the maze of tables and to his chair. He'd never seen such creative use of glitter, feather boas, and sequins with metro-tapered suits in one place before in his life. There was, he thought wryly, a decided lack of testosterone in the room. Surprising for a men's event, but not a fashion event, he supposed. He had missed much of the dinner- the salad of pencil cut turnip, spinach, and iceberg lettuce with radish and carrot medallions and a tart pineapple vinaigrette, (no great loss, in his opinion,) the creamy lobster bisque with chunks of freshly caught Maine lobster flown in especially for the event ("Get me that soup," he said, snagging a waiter as he continued to his chair), but the main course was just being served- a traditional surf and turf of steamed lobster and tender steak, served with garlic mashed potatoes, artichoke hearts, butter, ranch, and two different five star steak sauces.
Dani slipped into his seat, looking like something the cat dragged in, letting the silverware out of his napkin with a clatter and spreading it over his lap. He stuck out like a sore thumb in what might have once been designer dress jeans but were now tattered and thin, a sky blue button down only halfway buttoned revealing a matching wifebeater underneath, and a thin white tie tied loosely about the collar. His hair (white-blonde, wavy and just to his chin) looked like the barest of gel had been applied and his fingers raked through it and- voila! Grunge chic.
He was tall and almost unhealthily thin, with high cheekbones, full lips, and half lidded blue eyes hidden by sinfully long lashes, his skin naturally a dark olive some models paid thousands a year to maintain... He was wearing a touch of make-up- eyeliner that looked like it had been applied days prior, some faded red eyeshadow that served only to make him look worn thin, and some freshly applied lipstick in a dark violet.

....... -cringes- Ah, well, I wanted to try this game. xD I didn't think that'd be on there, though.
