I just finished The Fourth Queen by Debbie Taylor. Slow and stilting read, if ever I've seen one. Not nearly as slow as the Silmarillion. But close enough, with enough bounding back and forth between two viewpoints to make you dizzy.

Now....
I'm not sure what I'll read.
Re-read something. But what?

I found Girl with the Dragon Tattoo at Powell's for roughly seven dollars. I heard mixed critique about it, but wanted to decide for myself. The writing reminds me a lot of Sergei Lukyanenko's style of writing. But, I enjoy that forwardness to it. I've yet to get to anything of substance or plot, and it makes me feel as though the first fourth has to be nothing but fluff written for the reader. Still, I can't get further.

Also, I just finished Macbeth, and plan to reread the Tempest by Shakespeare soon. Such lovely plays, though very different.

I am currently reading Moby Dick, cause it was very cheap at the book store xD
And I kinda want to read all classics that I can.
At first the whole mixing styles was confusing me, but now I can say I'm liking very much and I can't wait for them to find the whale xD

I'm reading R.A. Salvatore's 'The Ice Wind Dale trilogy' after that I'll be moving on to Uglies, Pretties, Specials, and then extras by Scott Westerfield, since I'm re-reading all my favorite books before school starts again ^^

At the moment, I'm reading The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass - one of my favorite books. :3 I bought both of them in one little book.

I'm not sure what I'll read next - whatever catches my interest at the book store I guess. xD

So, what are you reading? (:
i have read through the looking glass, it is a good book in my opinion.
What i am reading is a trilogy called The Obsidian Trilogy (duh, trilogy) and the three books in it are The Outstreched Shadow, To Light A Candle, and When Darkness Falls (all by Marcedes Lackey and James Mallory). :yumeh2:
It's basically about Kellen Tavadon's journey from 17 year old son of High Mage Uriel living in The City of Golden Bells, a high mage(human only) city, to 18 year old Knight-mage living in Sentarshadeen, an elven city after defeating the demon forces of Shadow Mountain.

You should read the trilogy sometime. ^.^

I am currently reading, Dead as a Doornail , it is the fifth book in the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. I love it, I just started reading the series a couple of days ago and I just love the way they are written. I'm not a fan of vampire books, but these ones are really good.

Dry Store Room No. 1 Secret Life Of A Natural History Museum by Richard Fortey (former senior palaentologist at the British Natural History Museum)
it's really good. Strong, powerful and funny writing, and i personally find the subjects covered very interesting. Not everyone's cup of tea, understandably.

Dragonlance Legends Trilogy Volume I, by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.
Yeah. My father brought me a huge box of fantasy books, and I liked the "Rose Of The Prophet" that they also wrote. Though its ending bugged me. D:<

I am currently reading a bunch of textbooks for school. Does that count? I am not going to bore you with the details, but I am reading books about Foreclosure, and the Desutruction of the American Dream. On the side I am reading Card Captor Sakura, and Fruits Basket for manga, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows for a "real book."
