@ Iltu: "The Vampire Lestat" is definitely a whirlwind! I read as many of that series as I could get my hands on, and definitely had my mind blown more than once!

I think my favorite in that series has to be Blood and Gold.
Absolutely love it.
Born from the decadence of a declining Roman empire, through to the decadence of Renaissance Italy, it was a page-turner that I was always reluctant to put down.

It's a wonderful book! I own the series up through The Tale of the Body Theif and then I've got The Vampire Armand as well, seeing as I cannot find Memnoch the Devil ANYWHERE! DX It's driving me mildly insane, really. I plan to read all of the books this summer. <3 And hopefully the Mayfair Witches books as well.

Right now I'm currently reading On Fortune's Wheel by Cynthia Voigt. I've already read it before but I tend to reread books quite often. I kind of like doing that because then I kind of get to know how I felt when I read it at a younger age and how I feel when I read it now

I just started Mister Monday by Garth Nix. I'm only just past the prolouge, but it's already got a very Garth Nix-y feel to it. XD

Right now I'm reading the book Treasure Island. :pirate:

And after I finish reading that, I'm going to read The Count of Monte Cristo.

I adore that book<3 It's simple but really touching.

I'm reading Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood and am not enjoying it :/ People seem to like it, but the protagonist is so angsty and stoic..

At the moment, my entire reading life seems to revolve around Warhammer 40k 'fluff' stories. I'm hooked on the Horus Heresy books at the moment. They really define how everything went to pot for the Imperium.

Lillith! :glomp:

I miss you!

Are you enjoying the series? I have the fourth book, now, but not in ebook form.

I'm currently reading a SmartPop book of essays called Mapping the World of Harry Potter, the most hilarious of which so far has been entitled "To Sir, With Love," and is about the Byronically smexy portrayal of Snape in fanfiction. I laughed so hard my face turned blue, and then read the essay to my girlfriend over the phone while she did the same. It was a grand affair.

After this, I think I'll move on to Summon the Keeper.

I just finished reading "Memoirs of a Geisha" and now I'm starting "She's Come Undone"
"Memoirs of a Geisha" was amazing, I've read it before, but I didn't remember it being that good. As far as my new book, I've never read it, but it seems like it's gonna be fairly good. I'm excited to read it.

Since I finished On Fortune's Wheel, I'm rereading Jackaroo by the same author, Cynthia Voigt :)
It's set about two generations before On Fortune's Wheel

I just finished "The Invention of Hugo Cabret". I've started "King Rat" by James Clavell, one in the "Shogun" series. The series is about Japan from the Dutch explorations to WWII (so far). It follows the lives of a family of traders that made their fortune in "the Japans".

I'm reading The Boleyn Inheritance by Philippa Gregory. I was only a couple of chapters in before I added her to my favorite authors list. I picked up a ton more of her books to read once I'm done with this one. ^^

Be sure to tell us how you like it.
I saw that but I went with Beauty of Robin McKinley which I really liked.
