I'm still tired. It's only 5 pm. But I have been tired just about all day. Why isn't it bedtime yet? T.T

I'm exhausted. I ran around like a mad woman trying to get things cleaned up for the landlord who decided to call and say he was coming to replace the water softner today. Nothing like no notice. Not that it was a mess but still.

Ugh, must be like when the housing commission comes by while living in military housing...unannounced. They are always really picky about things, and I hated some of their comments about the floor having kid toys on it, as if having a child made the property we were living in less valuable. -_- I hated it there, and thus, bought this house! Where we are the landlords XD

  actually i do wonder if having kids would bring down value... i think sometimes having pets would because they scratch up stuff... so maybe children would bring it down too because they have a higher tendency or ruining things as well... not that adults don't, but they assume we're more responsible... emphasis on it being an assumption... XD

before mene crapped out earlier I had written this paragraph reply about the house thing. Basically saying that we were living in a house granted to us because we had kids, it was made for a military family with a certain number of dependants, which would lead to needing more bedrooms. and then some other stuff. But having kids shouldn't devalue anything as long as the structural property/carpets/walls aren't damaged, which having toys on the floor wouldn't damage any of. >.<

• @melody: yeah... i don't think it should devalue it if nothing is damaged... i think the only thing the toys on the floor would make the house less appealing at first glance... but overall it shouldn't affect its value overall... >.<
  (btw, i watch too much of that remodelling/design channel for a while, so they always emphasize on the appeal of the house as well... but usually, the value doesn't go up unless they make a "construction" make-over... >.> )

I love those shows! but if you can make it look appealing while people are looking at your house and interested in purchasing it, then you have more of a chance of selling it. so it does help it a bit.
