It's a bit odd. I've only seen someone have it once and that was while I was reading a story. D:

My mother said she named me that because when she was preggers with me she slipped on the floor.

Went to the Doctor and such. After a ultrasound he said that it was almost as if I dodged out of the way inside her.

Thus my name became Dodger. Although I don't exactly believe her story, haha.

My real name's Marcy. I just don't like the sound of it. Other than that I don't have a problem with it. I tend to like names that are more nature related and not as common though.

my names Kalissa and it doesn't have a meaning. My mom picked the name and I think its a pretty good name.

Kim. It's androgenous, and I don't have a clue why my parents chose it. All I know is that in Sweden it's a shortening of "Joakim", which was popular in the 1980's, and that name has its origins in the hebrew name of "Jehoiachim". I think it was the name of Virgin Mary's father. My middle name is Kristofer, and as far as I know, it's from the greek "Christoforos", which means "He who carries Christ in his heart". (It was also popular in the 1980's) But goddamn, I'm an atheist and so are my parents, amusingly enough xD Still, they're a nice sounding name, so I don't think I'll change them anytime soon.

My real name is Irenka (Ren is in there, as you see), my mom went to a hairdresser and she had that name, and she knew right away that when she had a girl, she'd name her Irenka.
And my second name, Adriana, I have no idea where that one came from.

My name is May, no idea from where they got the English name for me. Maybe because of my Chinese name Mei. My parents didn't name me, it was my grandmother. Why? well when you put mine and my sisters name together (Chinese name) it means beautiful. My grandmother named all of my siblings too. I do like it, because it's short. My full name is only 7 letters so I never had to be like omg why do I have to write out my really long full name.

My name is Clarissa which means Illustrious. I don't really know why I was named as such. For all I know I was to be named Claudia, but my uncle beat my mom to it. I like my name. I mean it's not so bad. I could have been named worse like...trenchole XP.

It's just that Fiona, the name she really wanted for me, had also been the name of an old dog. Even though the dog had been gone for YEARS, my family pressured her out of giving me a decent name that was fairly uncommon.

My parents were going to name be Joanne Olivia (after my grandma & one of my aunts).
