Well I was hoping from the start she'd end up with him, because I much prefer Kyo to Yuki. I really don't like Yuki. His voice actress in the anime didn't help >_<

did you watch the japanese version?
i can't say i've watched much of that show with the japanese voices cause i kind of like the voices in english... but yuki's voice actor in english... didn't like it either

His Japanese voice actress was quite obviously a woman. And she wasn't one of those actresses who specialises in doing boys' voices either. And the English voice was too deep. I always imagine Yuki's voice as somewhere in between.
Kyo's voice in Japanese, however, is awesome. I ahven't heard it in English.

i think kyo's voice in english actually suits him really well... i have the dvds so i can watch either japanese or english... but some women do really well with the younger boy voices... in english a girl did momiji's voice and it fit him really well ... i really liked all the other voices in english but yuki's and hatori's was a little too ... i don't know... something... but it wasn't bad

Hatori's Japanese voice really suited him. He shares a voice actor with Kakashi from Naruto :)
A lot of actresses can pull of boys' voices really well, but with Yuki's, no matter how you looked at it he had a woman's voice. It was interesting seing him have a conversation with Uo-chan, because his voice was so much more feminine than hers!

well he is more feminine then uo-chan hahahahaha
and i bet hatori's voice is good then... i might have to watch it in japanese... it has been a while since i saw it anyways

Seeing the anime after reading the manga is kinda disappointing though... it just seems like there sin't as much detail in the characters

or in the story... one thing i really didn't like about the anime was that when tohru found out about kyo, back in chapter 6 or something around there, she ran away from kyo and her friends met her then she changed her mind... i liked that tohru went after him of her own will... that's what makes her who she is and that is makes their bond so strong... :yes:

I can see that for the ending episode of the anime they would want an episode with the three of them, but then they shouldn't have chosen that chapter to use

I finally got around to watching this show. I've meant to for forever, actually. DX But..ya. I liked Kyo from the start. ...Yuki was creepy.

Ya...I was kinda like "Wait. No. Yuki's gonna mess up their relationship..." >.> I really want to get to reading the manga, though. Especially if it goes longer, 'cause I was kinda ..eh... toward the anime ending. You'd think SOMETHING would be different after that. But I definitely really liked it.

...as for what I would do (as mentioned in the first post?) ...If I had been Tohru...well, I wouldn't be me and therefore would still do the same thing? XD Seriously, though. If you inserted me into Tohru's spot, it probably wouldn't have been quite as dramatic. I'm far too gone from the realm of normal people for me to make that scene dramatic and special. :lol:

The manga is really good, you should read it ^^ It also covers a lot more. The first 8 volumes contain stuff that's in the anime, and there are 23 volumes :)
I think the series ends with their graduation...

there is no resolution in the end of the anime... and that is what makes me sad about it... it just ends with no closure :illgetu:

the series ends with their graduation... sort of... i mean, it goes on for a little bit after that so you know where they all go or what they all do afterward... alllllso, there is a serious flash forward the very last chapter and it's about our favorite duo ;)

The anime ending was disappointing. It's the reason I started reading the manga, I think. They really could've picked a better chapter to finish the anime series with.

i don't think it'd be a bad ending if that wasn't the last season... i think there should be another one to kind of tie up he ending... even if they don't put everything in the manga in the anime, but they left out the horse and the rooster and we never find out what akito is in the zodiac either... so many hoooooooles!

i never saw the anime but iread the manga and it was good the story line was amazing and entertaining for the reader

I read all of the manga till the every end I really,really like the ending of the manga. I too have seen most of the anime sadly it's was pretty good.

Definitelyyy agreee. There very well could have been a whole other season added on. The ending would have been great if they did. But because they left it SOO open, it kinda pissed me off.

The last episode didn't make any sense whatsoever to me. I think that's the reason I started reading the manga - to find out what happens after that.
I'm glad I did start reading the manga, though, because it's really amazing!

@happystarr: the anime could stand to have another season to fix the ending and give it a real one... like one where the curse is, oh i dunno, BROKEN!

i watched the anime after i had read a few volumes of the manga and i knew i had to have more! i hoped so bad that the manga didn't have a non-ending like the anime and i was very happy when it did not... i own all the volumes now and i go back to read them sometimes cause the story is jsut that good!

The anime left me feeling that Haru is most definitely gay. Of course, the way he talks, it does make you think that, and Rin isn't in the anime at all >_<

yea he did seem to swing both ways in the anime huh? they were pretty ambiguous about it... but in the manga he has one of the best 'love stories' in the series and it was with rin... although he did say in both medias that he loved yuki ...

Well I'm trying to remember what he said in Japanese... because it might not have been "love" just "like"...

ahhhh... see i have only seen the english version and read the english version :(
