Keheh. I've read most of the manga and seen all of the anime! They're all really good! Personally I enjoy the anime more as it is more detailed and the story is better! Can you believe that Akito is actually a girl? O.O I could not believe it when I first read it, but then again, she does look alot like a female. :/ I kinda feel sorry for her in a way. Still, she's creepy. > 3 <

My favourite character would probably be Momiji. <33 He has a really cute personally! and he looks really cute in his animal and normal form. ; A ; But I seriously thought he was a she at first. > . < Kehe, I love the episode where they all went to a hot spring during whites day. <33 Probably the best episode in the whole thing!

Oh yeah! I loooooove the theme song too, it matches the anime really well. <33 ; A ; Kinda sad though. and a little long. > 3 <

If I was in Tohru's position, I would probably choose Kyo. :3 They match so well, and Yuki likes another girl doesn't he? In the manga?

If I was Kyo, I would tell Kagura how he felt about Tohru and beat the hell out of Yuki, not 'cause I don't like Yuki, just so that Kyo can finally be part of the 12 zodiac..ish and also so that he doesn't have to move back into the Sohma house.

I enjoy Fruits Basket alot. I've watched it all on Youtube. I really want to read the manga since numerous of people have told me how in depth it is. I'm jealous at how my niece's school have mangas in their library. My school only have boring learning books.

I liked Furuba when I first saw it. I haven't rewatched it in a while though. I should buy the DVDs soon~

You should read the manga. It's WAY better. The anime leaves so much out and doesn't get to the kissing!! x3

Furuba is an adorable series. The anime was addicting to me at first, but then I ventured to teh manga and discovered that they were 100xs more addicting than the anime. It is so much more indepth than the anime.

im up to chapter 114 in the manga.not sure what book that is.im reading the manga on a website because it takes too long for a new volume to come out. i wouldn't be able to pick either of them because once you get really into the manga,its obvious how much kyo and tohru love each other.i wouldn't be able to take kyo way from tohru.it would be too sad.and i dont really like yuki.i like him,as a character,but i dont like like him.oh,i know!! i get momiji!!! yay!! :D

I love Kyo, he's so awesome. I watched tha anime, it's not as good as the manga. Hopefully I'll get number 18 on Sunday, I can't wait! I think Furuba is the first manga I actually got addicted to >w<

I think this is probably one of the best anime/manga ever created. Never have I read and enjoyed just about every character in the series. I enjoy reading love stories, so that gives it extra points in my book. x]

It's just so fun. Sadly I only made it up to 14 or so. I don't have any more money to just freely spend. That reminds me... I really need to run by my dad's place and pick up my computer desk and manga.

  I used to like Tohru a lot, but now... not so much. I feel like she's barely changed since the beginning of the story, especially compared to Kyo and Yuki. And the fact that she has so many issues that she won't face up to... that bugs me. However, I have it on good (spoiler-free) authority that in later volumes she does have to work through some of her issues, so I'll be happy when that happens. ^u^
  
  My favourite (non-canon) pairing in Furuba would have to be Yuki/Kakeru. I mean seriously, I can see Yuki doing so well with someone who can just break through the barriers he's slowly been taking down and surprise him at every turn. X3 Not to mention that, as characters, Yuki and Kakeru and probably two of my favourites. So I guess I would want to see them paired up...
  
  As for canon, I'd go for Yuki/Haru. :3

  My absolute favourite characters though (and it has to be characters - I couldn't choose just one!) are the Mabudachi trio - Shigure, Ayame and Hatori. I love the way they interact, and with their whole dynamic you can tell that they've been friends since forever. ^u^ In the manga, their relationship is played both for comic effect and serious development, and I love that there's that choice - none of them are really "flat" characters and they all have a side that wasn't apparent when we first met them.

She faces up to them A LOT in Volume 19, 20 and well in 21 she owns up to them.
Also its up to later in the series she changes a lot.

The anime I agree a dark mark! I hate it. But I love watching it for some reason. Maybe cause they won't ever do another. But the fact is nothing in the anime is like the manga except the character personalities! Its rather annoying!!!

But yes...I believed I had to update this because I own every volume out today right now which I believe is up to 21. WOOT!!!

I heard of this and found it on Youtube. I'm really fond of shape-shifting so I was intrigued. I watched a couple on youtube and it seems like a fun series.

I love fruba. I have read up to 17 and not seen the anime. If i was i Tohru's position i would chose neither yuki or Kyo i would chose Momji as he is major cute and is my fave character

Fruits Basket has to be my number one fave. I read all the manga and have the anime. It has everything you want in a good story, fighting, humor, drama, slice of life, and more. I personally wanted Yuki to be with Tohru. I thought at times Kyo would get someone else. (Like, Uo or Hana or even Kagura.)

Hehe, I was silly and wanted Tohru to be with Yuki, as well. :3 But that has to be because Kyo personally got on my nerves. I love cats, so I was thinking "Oh, the cat? I'm going to LOVE him!"

NO! Was sooo very wrong.

He just... grinds my nerves so badly. >.< Oh my gosh. He annoys me to no end, being so mean and rude. And I know, sure he's always nice to Tohru and therefore it's "cute" but no. He's a jerk. A straight up ass. I don't care if he's nice to her - he's not nice to anyone else! He was always rude and picking rights and being generally annoying to me. More often than not, I wanted to punch him. :/

I hope that I enjoy him more in the manga... LOL, I'm only up to Volume 5 so... I've got a long ways to go, xD

Still. I love Yuki. He's calm and sweet and unless dealing with Kyo, so generally even tempered. :33

I really like the ending of Fruits Basket in the anime, even if it's all mucked up. I like the idea that NO one gets Tohru. They all need her in their own ways. :3

(I fell in love with Tohru and Yuki's voices in the American dubbed anime. :3 -squeals-)

That manga goes so much farther and into so much more of the story. The anime is entertaining, but in terms of staying manga faithful.. it turns into a bit of a trainwreck at the end.
