I really like this series, there were a lot of characters, and they were all developed really well. But It was really long, and buying them all is a good chuck of money if you think about it. I loved the art, especially in the beginning.

I love the series....I can't stop laughing or crying for some reason when I was watching or reading it. xD I wanted Tohru with Kyo....but then again. I wanted Kyo with Kagura to be together. Though my favorite character is Kisa, Hatori, and Hatsuaru.

Kinda wish the anime had lasted longer after reading about the manga through Wikipedia.

tohru is sooooo cute fruit basket made me cry in the last episode its soooo touching even kyou is in that shape and when he got back to being a man tohru hugged him tight xD. all in there clan are soooo handsome and i just dont like akihiko there clan leader :sweat: but some how i pity tohru coz her mother died and kagure is soooo handsome and elegant too :angel: misa is sooo kawaii =3 waaaaaaaaaaaah i wanna watch it again :roll: >_<

I recently watched the anime of Fruits Basket (I haven't read the manga) and I absolutely love it!
I absolutely hate Yuki because almost everything about him is so girly, and I love Kyo, Ayame, and Momiji. I dobn't see how anyone can't love Momiji, because he's so cute!

yay, fruits basket!!!! i love kyo cuz i love cats, and i think shigure is so funny. momiji is so cute, but annoying at times. but tohru reminds me of me: so ditzy.

but i don't see how you can hate yuki without hating ayame. ayame is just as girly as yuki!! i don't like either of them.

anyway, if you haven't read the manga yet, you need to!!! it's even better than the anime. the anime left out a lot of important stuff, as well as most of the story! i think it only goes up to the 8th volume, and there are 23 volumes i think. i actually haven't read past the 6th, but that's cuz its so hard to find online. most places aren't allowed to have it cuz of tokyopop.

I would definitely have picked Kyo if I were in Tohru's position.

I thought Yuki and Tohru were nice together, but then I thought again, Tohru can have Kyo.....I'll take Yuki for myself...kekekkekekek XDD

I think it's always so funny though when Ayame or Shigure start flirtiing with Tohru and then Kyo and Yuki get soooo mad!

I've just started to read the manga and I have to admit that it's rather cute, although I don't really appreciate Tohru's character. She's kinda... "too" sweet, even for a shoujo manga protagonist. But the other characters make up for her, making the whole series quite enjoyable!

i didn't really care for the anime version of tohru... they made her kind of crazy and constantly freaking out in her high pitchy voice... i didn't mind her so much in the manga... her naivete was quite convincing and really funny at times...

my favorite character? well that is a really hard decision to make... i fell in love with lots of the characters for lots of different reasons.... i love shigure because underneath his comedic facade he is just a hurting guy who wants revenge... i love hatori because i think he deserves to have love and i'm a sucker for the brooding tall types ;)... i love manabe because he is just a really funny guy and he seems to really care for his family and friends... i love rin (izuzu) because i also think she deserves love and i love haru because he loves rin no matter what...

anyhoo... i just love them all... and i love the story and the art... except that the art seems more angular earlier in the series and a little smoother as they get older... but i do like that they seem to age consistently...

Fruits Basket is a great series. I've watch the whole anime version of it. I just need to get in gear with the manga.

At first I thought Tohru and Yuki would've been getting together, so I was surprised when the love interest between Tohru and Kyou started up. But now that I think about it, Yuki and the girl from school seem to go rather nicely together.

I just started reading it though, because I had stopped a few years back, so I started over.
I'm only up to the 11th book, but it's soooo amazing <3 x3

i love fruba soo much all my friends say i m just like toru but i dont agree but still for a con i went as toru honda it was the most absolute perfect cosplay because u used a picture frame with the picture of toru's mom in it and carried it around with me . on the day of the con that it was raining i used my mom's kaki coat and put a yuki plush in the pocket like in the episode that yuki turns into the rat while he is going to walk toru home from work and it was raining

I just saw the entire Fruit's Basket anime in one sitting earlier this week. My friend had bought the DVD's and we spent the entire day watching them all in one go. I gotta say that I love this series now. I've been trying to find time to read it on-line, too(since I have no money for manga).

My favorite character so far would have to be Tohru and Momichi because their adorable, Shigure and Ayame because their hilarious, and Haru because he's epic. The part where he's convincing the class president to let Momichi wear a skirt and proving that white really is his natural hair color was my favorite scene in the entire anime.:D

oh he indeed is very cute! i love in the later part of the manga and he is shown looking all cute and handsome in his boys uniform... haru was right! it suits him better when he is older :D

Momiji is really handsome when he's older! I thought he'd grown so much more mature and then it showed his bunny backpack lol ^^
