Lol, I never liked how mages could stack STA and still be on par with the other classes. It's too bad that the bonus for the INT stat doesn't add up to what STA can give a mage, and to be honest, it shouldn't be that way in any RPG.

Considering I don't really HAVE twelve hours to devote to a game... it's a lot for me. xD Normally I'll play things in 2-3 hour intervals. The last game I got into this much was Dark Ages of Camelot. Man I loved that game.

When i get addicted to something its really bad. My folks had to ban diablo 2 from the house because they thought i was possessed by it. I played it all day every day from the time i got up to the time i went to bed for over a month strait. Even my bf thought i had died or something. I never called, never went to visit him, was never on my messengers. It was sad. Thankfully i haven't been THAT addicted ever since. But flyff was really endangering me of becoming that addicted.

Sta mages still lvl extremely slow when compaired to most other classes without activations. However once you reach 60 and master your Curcio your gonna fly your way to 80. That is if you can find yourself a good Assist. I gave up on my Psy at lvl 50 because he just lvled so slowly and it irritated me.

Well, yes, their damage output is definitely minimal compared to any sort of INT build... but what I'm saying is that they can outlast just about anything in a fight.
At peak level, a full INT mage couldn't possibly beat a full STA mage simply because the bonus given by the extra stamina is enough to offset the bonus to damage that the INT mage receives for placing all their points as stated. Honestly, this should not be so... but it is... and I guess it's not likely to be changed any time soon. :P

Not to mention the boost in damage by exsess int really is that great. Sure once you advance maybe but until your 6o+ your pretty much screwed as far as a damage advatage goes. Plus as a sta Psy your pretty much a terror in PK and the arena since its hard to block curcio. I was in ae0n which was the top guild in Glaphan and pwnage with out lead Sta psy was crazy in GW. Pretty untouchable if they know what there doing. Kinda unballanced the game. Sure i know no game is perfectly balanced. But you gotta wonder how well thought out some of the classes really were.
;>.> They kinda suck at CW though.

I am probably one of the few who actualy love the new skill system. Makes my rm much less time consuming. I can pour more of my energy into other charas instead of spamming like crazy to try and get my skills lvled. A good RM is depended upon her skills. But now everyone is on a level playing feild.

yes, level being the key word there... strength is again level-based... just like every other RPG... which sucks, cuz they took the one thing that was different, and made it conform to the rest...
quite a disappointment in my book.

Really in the long run it makes thing much faster lvling. You dont have to sit and spam, spend a ton on pots and waste lvling opportunitys because you want to have your skills lvled higher. It took me a month to get my AOE BP to 60 and only 3weeks to get my STR bp to 71 because i had mastered the critical skills i needed.

Yah, i still like my INT mage.... but it sucks being outdone by STA mages all the time :?
I suppose a hybrid mage of some sort would have a nice benefit though...

Yeah the more well distributed points of an elementor class mage is overall the best i've played yet. you can still tank pretty much anything and your damage is hella good.
