My first manga was " Fruits Basket ". I didn't actually ever finish that manga, either - or at least read more than chapter twenty - something. I`ve got that on a to - do list somewhere, I bet.

My first anime was " Pokemon ", but I considered it more of a cartoon than an anime then, and I still sort of do. The first Anime that really got me interested in similar things, was " Inu Yasha ". I was little and absolutely adored it. I'd stay up until 11/12 just to watch an episode or two, and wouldn't be able to fall asleep for hours just because I'd been thinking about it. After " Inu Yasha " there was " Sailor Moon ", but that was yet another Anime I considered to be more like a cartoon than anime - I do even now, just like with Pokemon.

After those I had a very large obsession with Yu Gi Oh. x _ X

Pokemon was the first anime I watched but back then I thought it to be an American cartoon so that does not count lol.

The first anime/manga I was introduced too I would have to say was Ouran High School Host Club. I loved it from the first episode <3 and it is a series I could watch over and over again. The thing that surprised me most was when the dub was released as I found I could bare the dub. (I only gave it a chance because Vic and Travis we're both voice acting in it).

Wow, I think it was Sailor Moon that I first watched, then a bit of DragonBallZ was in there too. Then I got into Daria, which isn't really a japanese Anime, but hey it was a plus when i was younger. First Manga I ever read would be ...well I can't remember...lol...I've read so many that it's hard to remember the first one, I've read so many good Manga's but I do remember that FAKE was the first Yaoi, I guess Mars was one of the first manga's I read and hope to have all of them, as well as Sailor Moon that would be nice.

It started with Card Captor Sakura. Followed closelt by Sailor Moon, then Dragon Ball Z(I don't count Pokemon because I think of it as a cartoon). Then was Outlaw Star and then anything that came on Adult Swim or Toonami. Until they aired Fooly Cooly or whatever it's called. Then it got stupid and I stopped watching it. Now I pick and choose at Animefuel.com

My first anime I'm almost positive was Vision of Escaflowne. I knew about that one before I knew about pokemon or sailor moon or any of that stuff. I used to stay up late with my dad and watch David Letterman. He would proceed to fall asleep on the couch and I would be free to watch Escaflowne. That was quite a few years ago so I would have been pretty young. Now that I think about it, I don't think I should have been watching that at that age. Oh well. It was worth it. I recently bought the whole collection on DVD. Such a good show...

My first anime was when i was in Grade school... I forget what grade to be Exact. But It was Sailor Moon when Cartoon Network showed all the seasons ((Except stars anyone know why they never showed the stars series? )).

Ranma 1/2 was the first anime I saw that I knew was anime. I love that show so much it isn't entirely healthy. I didn't eat pork for five years because I love Ryoga.

Well, if you mean the very first I watched, Sailor Moon when I was maybe... two? Three? But the first that I watched that I actually knew was anime was DragonBallZ when I was in high school.

i was 15. summer vacation and i had just moved to alaska. nothing to do but tv so i did. somewhere between outlaw star and dragonball z i never stopped! love the stuff. mostly the sappy stuff. we americans love our happy endings.

Tokyo Mew Mew was my first manga. Only one I ever finished too. I just have to read Tokyo Mew Mew a la Mode now :shock:

My first manga was... Her Majesty's Dog. I don't count it though because I can't even remember anything about the storyline.

I'd say my first anime and manga was Death Note, followed in close succession by the amazing and fantastic Fullmetal Alchemist. <3

It was Sailor Moon followed by Card Captor Sakura.

I was really into Pokemon when I was a kid. I use to watch the dubbed version of Cardcaptor Sakura years ago, too.

First was seeing random Cowboy Bebop episodes on tv when I was 8. Then I got into Pokemon, YuGiOh + various mainstream kid animes.

when i was little i fell in love with Unico, but i didn't know it was from Japan or anything. then later on My Neighbor Totoro became a staple among my cousins and i (along with Labyrinth, lol).

i'd have to say my first manga was Smile Magazine and Sailor Moon. one of my old best friends bought them for my birthday, and i was so excited because i hadn't read manga before. i was no longer really interested in Sailor Moon, but i loved Peach Girl and ended up buying the volumes later.

Sailor Moon! I used to wake up so early to watch them, since they came on like 6-7am at the time ^_^ Loved them, when I got old enough to use the internet (strict parents) I bought all of them! Just for memory sake ^_^

My very first anime was Kiki's Delivery Service. C': I saw it loooong before I ever started watching Pokemon and Sailor Moon. It holds very special memories in my heart and remains one of my top five favorite Studio Ghibli films.

My first manga was Rave Master. I bought the first volume after previewing it in...I believe it was Bekkett Anime Collector magazine. Ages and ages ago. I never really got into the series, though I found it amusing enough.

Lets see here... Well the first Manga I ever laid hands on was called Dragon Knights. A fairly good series too I might add. As for my first Anime, I think that was Sailor Moon, but what got me into anime was Cowboy Bebop.

First anime was probably My Neighbor Totoro. My sis and I watched it all the time when we were kids. I didn't know it was an anime at the time though. And I have vague memories of watching what I think might have been Speed Racer, way before Totoro. And then there was Pokemon.
But the first one I watched, knowing it was anime, was probably Inuyasha.

First manga was Cardcaptor Sakura and Princess Ai.

The first anime/manga I ever read and watched was Rurouni Kenshin ^_^ I fell in love with him, seriously haha That's probably why I haven't been able to watch the show anymore or finish reading the last 3 manga in the series. I had deep feelings! :P


ADDED: Ah! I totally forgot about sailor moon!!! THAT was my first! :D I loved her too but I barely remember the show....hmmmm I should go watch an episode...

The first title I heard is Doraemon,next is Pokemon but I fall in love with manga when I read Anatolia Story-AS is the first comic that I've read

Sailor Moon was my first anime and Cardcaptor Sakura was the first manga. Cardcaptor Sakura was my first anime in Japanese with subtitles though.
