Awhhh I loved Lisa Frank when I was in elementary school. I had a bunch of folders with her art on it. :3 I tend to do vectors in Paint Shop Pro for the Lisa Frank stuff, and blendy Photoshop colouring otherwise. Haha yeah, Rembrandt was pretty 1337. His style seems like it would look lovely when done on the computer, all the soft moodiness. :D

We could always be bums. All we really need is a cup for spare change. :lol:
Camping out at the beach sounds kind of nice though. I've wanted to do it a few times but it got too cold at night, haha.

Only the cool kids or those who had connections overseas could get Lisa Frank stuff. It was a status symbol amongst us when we were younger. I don't live in a place where it's locally made you see. Nope, never had the chance to own them though. Just enjoyed watching from a far as it was the only chance I had anyway. But I couldn't help but appreciate and enjoy the lovely colors though. They were so bright and so happy that up to this date, I still admire the color schemes. So much I want to try a coloring style similar to it at my age of twenteen. xDDD;

It's a lot of dark and contrast colors. So it's tricky to do. Not to mention when the monitor is too dark/too light, it could cause problems for those viewing and making. But we'll see. I think I'll stare at a whole set of paintings by him, observe and see where it goes. Then experiment. The moods and being able to bring across through color---what a damn expressive medium it is. TT o TT

I want to try camping out too. >3>; I've never tried unless I counted that forced/compulsory overnight camp thing. I didn't exactly get to sleep in a tent. Our group ran out of tents. Actually there was no good coordination among the members and the planning itself for that night was so terrible that a lot of people ended up laying their sleeping mats and foams on soil, wishing no ants or anything would come for them in the night. Including yours truly Cx

So... I want to try a tent for real soon. XDDDD; Camp out I tried, it's creepy to look up and then see the moon at it's full against a dark almost starless night. ; ;

Awh, you live in the Phillipines, right?

Dark colours are tricky. My old laptop had significant differences in brightness with the power cord plugged in versus running on just the battery, so I had to find a compromise between both versions when I was drawing or editing the lighting in photos. Otherwise, I don't think there are going to be huge variations in people's monitors.

Eek, your camping experience doesn't sound too good. D: I went camping once when I was in Girl Scouts. XD I liked it minus the sleeping in tents part, which is basically what camping is, unfortunately. P:

I'm really late when it comes to TV, I haven't turned one on to just watch TV for like, more than a year. XD;;;

It's kind of old; it started in 2003 and ended in 2006 or early 2007, I believe. EVERYONE used to be so obsessed with it, and I always thought it would be another dumb show about spoiled rich kids in southern California who party all the time, like Laguna Beach. Then last month, a channel here started to play re-runs from the very beginning... and I fell in love. ^ ∀ ^;;

In the past, it had been worse I heard. One of my teachers then who was an alumni said, they were made to march in and out of the sea water during their time. They camped out on a not too pleasing looking beach -it looked really more of a coastal/living area than a resort, so yeah...hence. But then I guess it also doubled as an eye opener session? XDDD-

Oh gosh, I blend and blend colours so much because it is unbelievably hard for me to settle on a good shade when I am using dark colours.
