It seems that there is no favoritism in my family. My parents don't favor one or the other of us kids more than the other, really.
I might have it a little better in the respect department though, just because I've gone onto college and my brother didn't.

My mother claims that she doesn't favor any one of us over the other, but we all know that she dotes on my younger brother. He gets away with many of the things that my sister and I never would have been able to do.
Though sometimes he can be a brat, my family is really loving and I think I dote on my brother as well. XD <3

-points to her little brother- =D
The parental units favor him because he's the one they have an easier time manipulating into the 'good child.' Funny, though, because he's the laziest shit I've ever seen. You'd think it was the other way around. -_- I'm the one who does my work and manages school and a job and ISN'T a goddamn drama queen. Ah well. I think it's just because my sphere of interests is (for the most part) WAY different from everyone else. We just have a harder time identifying with one another.

Yep, I tend to be favored over my brother. Also, my parents favor my dogs over both my brother and I. It's kind of sad, actually.

Not really. I've never suffered from that. Mainly because I'm the only child of my mom.. so yeah.
Though throughout the family I don't have a problem with it. :D I'm old enough to know that I'm important.

My little sister was always my moms fav. I dont exactly know why. Maybe because she was "slow" learning things and talking. It made me jealous as a kid and i would pick on her more often than i think i would have if my mom hadnt babyed her so much. Now shes a spoiled little bitch who still thinks she can get anything she wants. Shes 21 and has two kids now, no job, no money and her kids are on the verge of being taken away. My mom did a real good job raising her ^.~

I hate it. I see it without even knowing it's there until after the fact. It's annoying and unfair to the rest of the family members (even with cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.) It's just so cruel without intent sometimes.

My brother is the spoiled one.
He's autistic. So, my parents think he's completely incapable of things.
But it's not true, he has one of the mildest cases of autism, and I know damn well that he can help clean up, or take in groceries or take out the garbage.
But they cater to his every whim, and he loves it. He knows what he gets. They think I'm stupid to think he understands everything. but I'm his twin, and I know him way better than anyone else.

Augh, don't get me started on that. My little sister is clearly my mother's favorite; she gets away with everything. She even broke curfew and got no punishment whatsoever. It's getting to the point where I can't call the house (I'm in college) without hearing about how wonderful my sister is.

- I use to be the favorited one at one point,
but not in some bad way, I've never been a brat.
However, recently, my brother has taken the
pride to announce himself as the new
favorite, claiming himself to be the "Shining
Example of a Perfect Son" because he
believes in he's "college". [He's in a secondary
school that teaches people a 'trade'. He
didn't go to a real college because my
mother didn't think he'd last two seconds
in a real college.]
Make it worse, my mother has begun to
praise him for worthless things, completely
ignoring me and my other brother. He's
a brat, a slob, and completely worthless...
but he's the 'Shining example'... =-=

I guess my sister has really made me the favorite one. I have no part for it, but see my sister, she's a greedy bastards, who calculated everything we got and would instantly yell at everybody if she thought something was unfair to her. I didn't care if she got something more, I wouldnt act like that, and of course, she was satisfied with it, but didn't remember those the next time I had something more than she did. >.>
so yeah, why would you want to favor a brat like that?
I'm not spoiled though, or a bitch.

Thankfully my mom has enough sense to love my brother and I equally so he and I get along just fine. Like normal siblings we have our fights but they're nothing major. I'm glad we can get along well and that we don't have situations where one is the favorite and the other is neglected. But I am sorry for ppl who are in that situation. It must suck. ><;

My mom is pretty good about the favoritism. Though we do tease her sometimes because brother #1 has a ton of baby pictures and brothers #2 and #3 have none xD She claims the camera broke and they couldn't be bothered/afford to get a new one. Now her favorites are the grandkids. Once grandkids come into the picture, parents don't care about their actual children anymore xD;;
My dad shows favoritism though. He has school pictures of my little brother and brother #3 in the garage. He favors brother #3 because he is in the army and little brother because he is just like how brother #3 use to be but smarter. >.>; Though now that I've gone to college, he apparently has been missing me terribly because I'm really the only one who says much to him >.>

In my family, my father treats me like I’m not even there. In his eyes, I’m like Cinderella. He treats my brothers very well; he gives them what they want, when they want it, but me? When I want something, I get nothing except a cold, hard stare or remark. And because of it, it’s the main reason why I never go to his house anymore. And if I do, I’m either in my room, on the computer, and not socializing with any of his family/friends at all. What is funny is that I’m the oldest one in the family. >.>

My mom kinda has favorites and it's me lol
Well, the children that she has in the US. Back in the Philippines shes has two more and my brother is her top favorite cause he's a doctor.
But I think she loves us all pretty equally. The eldest has a kid so that's a grandchild right there, then there's the doctor brother, then my other older sister who's gorgeous, and then there's me who's the artist. Yea...Kinda messed up.

Same here.
The youngest is my dads favorite and the middle one is my moms favorite.
All they do is scream and pick on each other all day.
It's really annoying because I usually get the blame for things they do wrong.
Their excuse for it is that i'm the oldest so I should be a role model.

My mom's blamed my second oldest sister for that. When I was going through my anti-social, rebellion stage in middle school, my mom blamed my sister for making me that way, haha. That was actually my fault.

Both of my parents play favorites. It's annoying, but I'm used to it.
I've got five brothers. I'm the second child for my mom and the first for my dad. However I am neither ones favorite. My mom favors her first born and the baby of the family. My dad favors his first born son (or the third child in my family. One right after me) and the baby of the family.
The only one who is a brat about it is the youngest.

well my parents are more for the guys than for girls. they give my brothers anything they want but i left begging for it. they dont even take my advise about anything or even know what food i like. but when i tell my brother to tell my mom that its better to do this than that she is all ears. apparently my parents think i am stupid. not to mention my youngest brother gets a car ride home and back $10. gets $5 a week to get him something to drink and he also get to go to every sport events he wants.if wants to go out to eat my mother give him$25 but when i was in school i got nothing i didnt even get the $5 for a drink i had to clean the house and beg for money. they both get name brand stuff while i have to shop at walmart. every christmas i get a present but its something my brother asked for on his list and i dont even want.my parents end up giving it to him. and giving me $10. i am so glad to be out of there they didnt want me and i dont want them. now i am making my money and they are asking for some and i give them what they gave me nothing if they want it they can beg like i did. i love my brothers but i can help be a little bit bad that they get what ever they want while i get only basics
