Elfen Lied was probably the most disturbing thing I have ever watched. Children kill a puppy with a blunt object for crying out loud D:

Most annoying anime? A lot of the stuff they've been showing on Toonami. Toonami use to be so cool! Then they showed Zatch Bell, Bobobo, One Piece. They replaced YuYu Hakusho with a show like Zatch Bell! Insane... Maybe it's just poor dubbing and editing, but all those shows make me cringe.

Maybe disturbing for those without an adult mindset and an inclination to look at things beyond the gore. "Elfen Lied" has a lovely background story and the character interaction is interesting. You actually feel sympathy for Lucy as her past is revealed, and understand why she turned out to be the way she was. As for that puppy sequence...it's been done by kids in real life, time and again. Yes, some kids are that cruel, sad to say. But such is life :)

I enjoyed "Elfen Lied" a lot, and recommend it to those who can look beyond the blood into the story background and relationships. It really is a good show, and well worth watching. :D

My most disturbing anime...Hm, I guess it would have to be Super Milk-Chan. I mean, it's just creepy. This little kid just plays a dating game the entire show. Then when she loses, she yells cuss words. What the heck? How is this a show and why is it on Adult Swim? 0.o; When I first watched FLCL (Fooly Cooly) and Paranoia Agent, I didn't understand them either.

As for the most annoying, there is a three-way tie. The Dubbed Naruto Series, the Orphen Manga Series, and that Bobobobobobo one...Let's face it the Dubbed Naruto Series is extremely annoying and childish, not to mention it has horrible voice actors except for maybe Kakashi. Orphen is just incredibly annoying to read. I don't know what it is, but I just want to bash myself in the head with a Dictionary every time I read it. The bobobobo... one is just poorly drawn, has horrible voice actors, and is not funny or amusing in the least. I don't even know if there is a plot, but if there is I can't find it.

i dont see how the english dub of naruto is childish its a translation,there is a broadcast for TV and the DVD is uncut.

It's not just the gore of Elfen Lied the disturbs me. That's easy to look past. There's just so many terrifying and disturbing elements that I'm just not comfortable with. And it's the fact that many of the horrible events that occur throughout the story happen in our world every day that makes it all the more disturbing. So don't think I'm some child who would overlook a show simply because of some bloodshed

Gantz and Elfen Lied are definitely the most disturbing ones I've seen. Gantz is just a bloodbath of horror and Elfen Lied has the bloodiest first episode in all of anime I do believe.

Most annoying anime? Dragonball Z, but only the Freeza saga and beyond. It was pretty cool until Goku took nine million episodes to do that one attack. I have never been so aggravated at an anime in my life.

  Inuyasha - I'm sorry, But if your one of those 'OMG INUYASHA' fans, I honestly look down on you. I find this series annoying due to it's lack of change. All i ever see and hear are 'WIND SCAR' or 'WIND TUNNLE' it also dose not even end! I mean, COME ON! Why can't they just kill naraku and be done with it? why dosn't Inuyasha beat kagome for the way she is! I mean seriously.. if i wore his collar and was told to sit.. I'd freaking kill her right off the bat.
  
  Naruto - I dislike this particular series.. well.. the american verision anyways.. I have yet to see the orignal uncut one.. I dislike it and finding it annoying due to Naruto's 'Catch phrase' God... Next person to say 'BELEIVE IT!' I'm caivng thier head in with a ballpin hammer....

  Death Note - Yeah, I love a good thrilling anime series.. but Death note honestly gets on my damned nerves. I find it annoying due to the voices.. I swear to freaking god, If i find the moron who decied it's okay to ruin a good thing, He is gonna have to ENJOY eating food by using a straw and depending on others to keep him alive.

I would have to say the most disturbing anime would have to be Ninja Nonesense: The Legends of Shinobu. It's one of those shows that it creeps you out but you can't look away... If you watch the first episode you'll most likely be saying "Why was it going in reverse? WHY?! It's unatural!!!"

That was my reaction. If your into random things like that then watch the first episode. I DARE YA'!

trust me i get yelled at by my friends who like inuyasha all the time for it.

Blood+ kept me interested for about 11 episodes. then it got boring. then when i was visiting in minnesota in my hotel room saturday night i turn on the tv to adult swim and saw the episode about her and her sister how they locked her up and they were found as cocoons. umm no. i actually said outloud "wth?!"

unlike most i enjoy bobobobobobo from time to time. but just not as a series.
i got upset when they put death note on adult swim but thats about it :].

There are two that annoy me, It's The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Lucky Star. I don't know why but Suzumiya, I don't like the plot or the main character. With Lucky Star, I don't know, part of it is so random it's just weird and I don't like the art.

I don't like Naruto, only watched the first 3 episodes.

I love both of the series for strange reason but most of the time I cannot stand seeing them by myself.

I think the name of the most disturbing one was something like Beating Angel? It ruins the cuteness of the character designs with extreme violence. Anyway, this "angel" has an spiked club and beats this poor boy with it alot. I like "violence" to some extent in other anime but in this anime it's just too much. I don't know...just really awful compared to other anime violence I've seen...maybe it's all the "paint blood" that spews fourth from the poor boy that gets me hating it.

I can't really think of an "annoying" anime...
But I do hate Akira. Bleh.

I find Lucky Star very pointless. I mean... they spend half of the episode talking about ways to eat food...? I think it's a waste of time to watch.

On the other hand, the most disturbing anime I've ever watched was Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. The theme song is addicting, but other than that... the content is... very messed-up.

I can't thin of any annoying ones right now. I love a lot of them so...yeah.

I used to go sit in the hallway when it was being shown at the anime club. (And I was the VP!) Luckily it stopped being shown soon after.

I don't think I actually have a disturbing anime...

But, the most annoying anime is probably Bo-bo bo bo bo? o3o The anime where there is this blonde guy and he fights with his nose hairs... :roll: Can you even call it an anime?
