Oh hahah. Green jolly rancher. They're apple flavored right?
I havn't had one in years.
Yea! Everyone was like "so no one gets to eat it..?", and our guide just laughed the question off. xD
That would be an awesome never-ending supply of goodness.

@Peppermint: Haha, yes! :3 Are you from Canada?
@Lullaby: Yeah, they are apple flavored. <3 I actually never liked the taste of them (green apple has never been a favorite flavor of mine), but I always loved how shiny they were. XD Ahh, shiny/glossy things = love.
In that case, though, I'd have wanted to go give it a little lick or something. XD Or just stare at it. Mhmm. <3

Shiny green apple. I always think of those flavors as being sour. Even though there are the sweet kinds of green apple flavors too.
It's not one of the flavors I'd normally go for, but I think it tastes good every once in a while. :B
That would have been fun!
They probably didn't want to bring us too close to it just in case. xD

@Lullaby: Yeah, I think of that flavor in particular as being sour too >_x! That's one of the main reasons why I tend to stay away from it.
@Naguri: Ohh, hooray! :3 Welcome to Maple, please feel free to make yourself at home! If nobody's around, which is sometimes the case, please feel free to donate a conversation starter. xD
Not a Flames fan? :O Do you prefer another team at all?
I'm going to add you to the list on the first post, if that's alright. <3

Awe!! A Canadian thread! With all the otakus around here, I was rather surprised to see one of these!
...
I bleed maple syrup. 'Nuff said. xD
Hiya! You can call me Mika. :3 I'm from Saskatchewan, the land of living skies. Everything else, however, is kinda quiet and slow going.
^^ AND FLAT!
So... how's everyone today?

@chibilady18: Hey, welcome! <3 Awesome, where are you from, if you don't mind me asking? ^^
@draziw: Ohh, I see! Well, a part of you will always belong to us. XD <3 Where do you live now? And do you consider yourself Canadian enough for me to add you to the Alberta section of the list on the first page? XD <3
@Moofin: Ahh, USA-born? :3 Where were you born, if you don't mind the question? Do you live in Canada now, then?
@Mika: Yes, it just had to be made! I'm quite proud of this thread, though it hasn't received too much attention yet. It's a rather humble place, haha.
Oh, from Saskatchewan! *3* Very cool. A lot of my family migrated here to BC from Saskatchewan, and they're always telling me good stories about places like Regina. I've been there a couple times, and both times I found the lack of mountainous area quite intimidating. XD It's really lovely there, though. There's something old-fashioned about quite a bit of the area there that I love.
I'm doing quite well, though I'm a little tired from working. XD I just had some tiramisu cake, though, so I have a feeling I'll be up for a while longer. XD Oops.

Oh really? I actually live in Regina. There really isn't much to see out here. All the country looks the same and you can see it for miles... cause we're so darn flat! The skies are the only saving attribute.
Personally, I much prefer the mountains. :3
But, I'm moving far far away in a few years, so it's alright. <3

@Mika: Oh, awesome! Ahh, there might not be much to see to you, but I love almost any place that I haven't fully explored -- as long as that's the case, I feel like there's something there for me. The added fact that that's where a good deal of my family came from is a big influence on my opinion of Regina (etc.) as well.
I remember a candy shop I went to when I last visited... it had some delicious stuff. XD
Where are you moving away to? ;;

It's odd. Most people never consider themselves American, or Canadian mostly from what I see. You'll see plenty of people born in Canada, but are Asian in nationality call themselves Asian, or someone who is Mexican in nationality call themselves Mexican.
I guess because the country itself is so diverse, that it is much too hard to label oneself as a Canadian.

I don't leave out my Asian nationality either though. I guess it's just because of being born here,
I feel like I'm Canadian also.
That's true, I don't think I know many people that are actually Canadian.. hmm..

Rivayne: ^^ I'm moving to Chiba. I may not be asian, but that's where I consider home to be. Home is where the heart is, and my heart is with the people I consider family. I'm wanted there, and I miss all of them so dearly. D: I'm unofficially adopted. They're such a nutty group of people!
Shrii: *Uses magical powers to make foot feel better.* D: Your foot needs to be better! Isn't Canada known for its health care? DX
I hate doctors. I'm ALWAYS sick. Like... My immune system is LAME. I'm not a healthy person who is sometimes sick, I'm a sick person who's sometimes healthy. If I'm lucky and the world loves me. >> But doctors keep telling me I'm fine and there's nothing wrong with me. Not to mention I can't sleep or eat properly and there's something wrong with that.
Like now! Been tossing and turning for three hours before I just gave up. D: Yet, apparently, I'm fine.

Hey everyone, I've updated the first page with those of you who've mentioned what area you're from! If you'd like me to take your name down at any time, please don't hesitate to let me know and I'll get on it as soon as I can. :)
@Milkshake: Your username is SO cool. XD Bonus that you live in the same province as me, haha!
@Lullaby: Ohh, I see. XD Well, I consider anyone Canadian-born to be Canadian, period, no matter what ethnicity they are. That's not to say that you aren't asian, but being 'Canadian' simplifies it and allows you to be proud of the place where you were born. :3 That is, of course, unless you're not proud of being Canadian-born. XD My ancestors were of different ethnicities, but I consider myself to be Canadian because that's where I was born (and raised). ^^
@Mika: Chiba -- you mean China? XD Ahh, Chiba reminds me of Chiba Mamoru from Sailor Moon, lmao. So good. It's great that you have a place that you look forward to heading back to! <3
@Soda: Hey there, welcome to the thread! Excuse the slow response, I promise Maple's not as dead as you might think it is. XD It died when I went on hiatus, but I'm trying to bring it back up now that I'm back. :) In any case, please feel free to come by any time you like! <3
@Affinitas: Hello! Welcome to you as well. <3 Ahh, from Ontario. So cool. :) I'd like to get out there someday, I've actually only been as far as Saskatchewan. SAD. XD I'll travel a lot soon enough, I'm sure! Please feel free to chat here at any time, you're more than welcome! <3
