@Jelly
Nah... I constantly change my avatar's clothes on Gaia. Just never the hair style or color. xD
And yes, every time that damned bun comes up I want it. I can resist the brownie as I have to be in the mood for chocolate. The sundae is tempting, but the cinnabon, that won me over!
@Yan
No Olive Garden? Oh dear...
But I reckon you have really good restaurants there that we won't carry here. xD

We don't have any decent restaurant chains over here, just the regular burger and pizza places.
Yan you can't run a food shop, you'd eat all the stock :lol:

Do you have a good metabolism? Mine sucks. *ish fat* If I lived in a city I think I'd be 500lbs. We live away from delivery and take-out places (except for a mediocre one that does so-so pizza and sometimes good burgers), so that's a saving grace.
@Jelly
No fish and chip shops? I know I'd wanna go to one when I visit England.

Oh gosh of course there's fish and chip shops! but most restaurants are independently owned, I was suprised to learn there were so many restaurant franchises in the US.

Yeah... there are tons. For a while the cities around my area (as in a couple hours away) had very minimal. Now we have Chilis, Fridays, Ruby Tuesday, Denny's, McDonald's, Wendy's, KFC/Taco Bell, and the list continues to go on.
In the city an hour from here there are a few fast food chains, but the rest are independently owned. Like the little sushi restaurant we go to. Yummy. >w<

I like the one Japanese restaurant I've been blessed enough to find. I know there's another in the city two hours from here, so I reckon we'll try that sometime.

Ah, TGI Fridays we do have, in the larger cities. I went to a place called Wagamama's with a friend of mine, that's all Asian style food, it's fun there. but it's only in the big cities. We've only had a McDonalds in this town for about 4 years..though getting one of those is no great achievement in my book :roll:

we've got some good restaurants in the heart of teh metro, but i'm too scared to try them out, for fear that they might serve me midget-class food. XD i just want to be full and happy after eating in restaurants XD i dun care if they taste really good but come in really small servings =_= <-- glutton XD

Sounds like the area thirty minutes from here! I remember when the McDonald's was built. I don't think I was a teenager then, so maybe ten or eleven years old?
We don't have any fast food in my town, just the two take-out places I mentioned for pizza, burgers or sandwiches. We used to have a good family restaurant, but it was taken over by tourists who now charge outrageous prices that none of the locals can afford. It was a real bummer. I'd gone there since I was a baby. :(

I suppose you already explained that you get served smaller portions than we do here. ^^; I tend to get full on the smaller burgers they serve.
What do your chicken nugget sizes come in? We have 4-piece, 6-piece, 10-piece, and 20-piece? I'm just curious on the size comparison. I'm trying to get an idea without having an actual image.
I suppose I'd better get to bed. My eyes are burning. So I'll bid you both a good night... no, wait. I'll bid Jelly goodnight, and Yan a good afternoon. XD <3
See you both tomorrow/later, I'm sure.

Another thing with UK towns is we're limited in cultural choice food wise. your average town will have a fish and chip shop or 2, plus a selection of chinese and Indian restaurants/take aways, probably a pizzeria and if you're lucky an Italian restaurant, and that's pretty much it.
you need to live in a city to get any more variety than that, I've never had greek food in my life, apart from stuff from the supermarket, and i've only visited one Mexican restaurant. I wish I lived somewhere more cosmopolitan!

It's just mechanically reclaimed meat, they feed the breast cages through this hideously noisy machine and it sort of vaccuums every remaining scrap of meat from them, and comes out the other in a dark pink mush.
But they add a load of fat to nuggets too, which is why they have that slight bubbly look to the 'meat'
