We're doing a potluck thing. It's less expensive, and that way we're sure to get something everyone likes.

*decides to chew on Jelly* >.>

Thank you Flink. x3

I love pot luck type events. They are always such a great way to try new things and get some really good recipes.

I think so too. Plus we can get a few hearty finger foods in there without having to pay $20 per person for a caterer.

Same here. x_x

I'd meant to ask if anyone with children here is in college. I'm trying to look up options for the near future, and the one I found said college costs would be taken care of with our income. I think that's much too hopeful, as I am a cynic.

Ho hum. I'm not sure what to do right now. It's late, so I should probably go to bed.

Yes it does seem it's easier to get funding help for college if you have a family than if you are on your own. Not quite sure why that is.

I'm debating going to bed myself. It's that female time and I'm just so tired :(

I just got over mine, but for some reason I've had constant headaches since the hospital run. I'm sure it's just the medication and stuff. I'm sensitive to that crud.

I've been trying to look up information on a good detox kit, but I haven't found anything yet.

Well if you are going to find anything, the internet is the best source. I am still amazed at the things I find just from typing in a few words in a search engine.

I've found several things. I'm just not sure what's right. I've been drinking liver detox tea since the whole episode, and I think it's changing some things around. Not in bad ways, though.

I think my headache's moved on to making me sleepy, so I'm gonna call it a night. See you later Roo!

*bounces all around the quiet thread* Weeeeee!!! hehehe

I went out partying last night and didn't get home until after 4:30 a.m. Then I had to work today, so by the time work was over today, I totally crashed into bed when I got home. So I slept from 9:30 to 4:30 and here I am. haha

ChiChi, you're getting married 2 days after my birthday :)

Hope everyone is well! *blows kisses*

LOL Oh, I'd imagine not, but luckily it was a fairly quiet day. I didn't really get tired until the last few hours, I wound up falling asleep for almost half an hour before I left! hahaha

How are you today?

  • Very Panicky, I have loads of undone summer work. n.n;

    I'm starting 6th Form this year...

    In England the school system goes like this:

    Primary School, ages 4-11
    Secondary School, ages 11-16
    6th Form, ages 16-18.

    6th Form can be in a seperate college just for those ages, or it can just be like the last two years (grades) of a secondary school.

And they give you summer work to do? Mostly we would get reading lists, but they were often optional since we'd be reading the books during the school year, anyway. It was just a way to kind of get a head start (and something I never did, LOL). Most times I didn't even read the book when we were supposed to during the class. Bad bad apricot. But I passed! haha

  • We've been given work and yes, as I'm doing English Literature, I got a reading list. Unfortunately, I have only read the shortest book, and have neglected the two others. ^^;

    I'm enjoying Cold Mountain, but I started reading a bit too late. >_<

And when does school start for you then? How much time do you have to finish?
