I'm great. It's as nothing ever happened. I'm still waiting to get my ultrasound this Thursday to decide what to do. It'll either be an induce or a postponement. I'm not going to have it done close to my wedding, and I'll lose my insurance, so that means it'd be after our first is born.

I've been monitoring myself though, and I tested the waters yesterday at the birthday party. I had a cheeseburger and a hot dog, neither of which bothered me in the slightest. If I decide to post pone it, I'll be eating no fried foods obviously, as I won't set myself up for an attack being pregnant. It'd be straight fruits, veggies, and "careful" foods.

Either way, I'll know Thursday. Then I'll know what the heck to do with my life. xD

Was I missed?

I have been busy honest. On Thursday night Heather collasped (some kids do anything to get a day off school) so back at the doctor on Friday. It turns out she might not have epilepsy after all, she has a heart murmur and I am surmising she has had it since birth and no one picked up on it. However the doctor is going to phone the consultant and ask for a quicker appointment. They will still test for Epilepsy as well. So I checked it out and the only two tests they do for epilepsy and heart murmur is MRI scan, so I think it would be cost effective just to do that, rather than a brain scan and an ECG. But then I am not medically trained and think on how to save money :roll: Anyway I have finished decorating the dining room (thank goodness), I remember now I don't like painting much. But it looks lovely. My dad is due up today, and I wonder if he will notice as he isn't the most obsevant of people. Heather and Simon thinks he will notice as the walls have went from light blue to dark blue, but I am not convinced.

Jolly I loved Sherlock Holmes when I was growing up, I haven't re read any of them, but I might do now. I was reading Sherlock Holmes when I was meant to be reading Charles Dickens for English Lit. I just couldn't get into Dickens. So I did my exam on Lee Harper's to kill a Mocking bird and Athur Millers Death of a salesman. I am re reading the Diary of Anne Frank just now, as Simon is reading the book I want to read, Zodiac so I thought I would read something quick while I wait. (I really should be reading my OU stuff, but I will spend all day tomorrow on that).

Jelly I have two tables, one in the kitchen with four chairs, which do for the girls, Simon and I (I love eating in the kitchen). On a Tuesday when my dad is up, or if the kids have friends over for dinner we need to eat in the dining room cos it seats six. One day I plan to have a house with a massive kitchen so I can have a range, and a six seater farmhouse table and dresser.

Chi do you write wedding present lists? That way you don't end up with 5 toasters like my sister did :lol: We already had most of the stuff for our flat when we got married. So most people gave us money to buy what we needed rather than ask. Our honeymoon was a weekend in Butlins in Ayr (about 20 miles from where we lived). But the ex's work was really busy and they had to give him the Friday off to get married, but they couldn't give him any time off as he was the manager of his dept and had to make sure the orders were out.

On to Christmas. I love Christmas I can't sleep cos I am waiting for the morning to come so I can see the girls open their presents. I end up waking them up at 8 am, shouting Santa has been! The girls open their presents and then they have breakfast. At 11 am Simon takes them up to their dad's house, and then goes up for them at 12 and runs them and their dad and girlfriend to their gran's (his mum) house. They come home at 2 pm. Then we have dinner at 3 pm. This year I am having my dad up for Christmas, my sister was moaning she has him every Christmas, so I said swap, I will have him Christmas day, you have him New Years day. So she agreed, she hasn't thought out the fact that her husband can't have a drink on New Years day so he won't be happy. And I am not letting Simon take him home for them. They think he will just jump and run about for them just because he doesn't really drink. :evil: It gets on my nerves at times.

On Gala day when it is our turn to have dad Simon goes and collects him and brings him here then we go and watch the parade and go to the gala day. He comes here for his dinner then Simon takes him home. When it is their turn to have him for Gala day, they tell him to get the bus up, and they meet him in the street. he goes to their house for his dinner. The night before every gala day when they have dad is the same, my sister will send a text to ask if Simon can take dad home, so that her husband can have a drink at the beer tent (what if Simon wanted a drink? Tough) lol. So Simon says yes, and they wait until 9 pm to phone and ask Simon to collect dad and take him home. 9 pm by that time we are just getting Morgan to bed, and it is busy here! Hey ho that is families eh :lol:

Oh jeeze... Devil, I really hope your daughter is okay. That really really worries me. You'll keep us updated, I hope? It's no wonder you've been gone for a while. *hugs* ;_;

To answer your question, we're just kindly requesting money if anyone asks. We, like you, already have the things we need for the most part.

I'll be thinking of you and your family. Please, keep us posted.

I will let you know how she gets on. I had to phone the school yesterday to tell them that she wasn't allowed to do PE until she sees the consultant. So she is to go to the PE dept register for class then go to the library for an hour to study instead. The teacher asked if she was coming back, I am like yes, she will be okay I do not molly cuddle the kids. If she needs an op to close the hole in her heart she will be in and out in a week, and a few weeks recovery at home, then back to school. At the time it was scary, all she did was stood up, and down she went 15 mins later she came round. The doctor said she got up too fast, and her body couldn't pump the blood round fast enough so her body closed down until it could. The blanking out he thinks is caused by lack of oxygen getting to her brain. I was a bit miffed at it being missed for 14 years, up until last year she was at the asthma clinic every month, and in July she got her booster jags, they took her blood pressure sounded her heart, did her height and weight (told her to put on a few pounds) and said clean bill of health lol

I don't blame you for asking for money, it is easier to put it to things you need, my friend got married last year, she had been married before and they lived together for a couple of years, her house was flooded when the river burst it's banks a year before, so she had moved house, had all the normal things. So I just gave her money in a card, cos she needed carpets and curtains and things that were personal choice, so cash was the best thing she could do what she wanted with it.

I really hope she makes it out okay... I hope you guys can find out what's wrong and get it fixed sooner rather than later. I know some doctors give people the runaround, and with a little fourteen-year-old girl I'd hope not!!

Giving you the best wishes. <3

Wow Tia!! That's a big shock about Heather! Like you I'm amazed that it wasn't discovered sooner, it thought they could hear stuff like that with the stethoscope!

how is Heather being about it? Is she milking it for all it's worth? how's the wastrel father reacted too?
