I was thinking about putting this in the Art Post...but I dunno.

I just thought it would be neat to make a thread where we can make dolls with dollmakers and just...post them here. Plenty of dollmakers at The Doll Palace.
You can use whatever dollmaker you wish, as well. <3
Let us know of the doll was inspired by something, made just for fun, or if represents a real person! (you, perhaps?)

Why do all these doll sites steal art from the original candybar doll site? It always makes me sad. I make my candybar dolls from the official site... I think I have some I made... Lesseeee...

Didn't I post the original doll site?

Elouai reproduced the Korean site for English users because most people can't figure out how to navigate it properly. I prefer the Korean site as well because it's most recently updated, but if I am not in the mood to have to hassle with trying to figure out how to turn off the 3-6 different flashing effects the default doll throws at me then I'll use Elouai. Elouai does credit the Korean site as the originator of its images and claims no commercial ownership.

That said, I'm a big fan of Candybar. I need to play with it tomorrow for some character creation ideas. X3

Really? I've never had trouble navigating it... Or any Korean site, really ^.^; English sites are usually less clear to me... Oddly enough.

I've ended up making numerous walk throughs for people on Korean sites, so they could properly navigate or sign up for things. Japanese sites also... And I'm not fluent in either.

Sure why not. I am a little bored anyway since I can't use the other computer to play command and conquer.

XD I've made walkthroughs for the Korean site also, but most people I know will choose to use Elouai over the Korean site even if they know of the Korean site's existence. :3 And the ability to sort by color on Elouai is undeniably handy. But it isn't as up-to-date, so yeah. X3

It's true... I have noticed that despite knowing of "candybar dolls" people rarely know the site they originated from... Aren't they even curious why they are called "Candybar" dolls? ^.^;
