I had Saturday off, which is really not normal.

Me too, but it always feels a bit odd when I'm off on a day that I don't normally have off. I have today and Wednesday off this week.

I used to feel the same way. Especially if it threw off my Summer routine.

My boss asked me if I'd be interested in transferring to the Deli department yesterday. It would mean more money, but I would lose some of my seniority because there are others in that department that have been at the store longer than me. I also might get less than 40 hours a week, but the increased pay would make up for that.
I told her that i would think about it and let her know tomorrow.

Cool since it pays more, but the less hours can be a bad thing. That would be wise.

Also, I'm not sure if I will like working in the Deli.
I should ask my boss if it would be possible to come back to the service desk if I found that I didn't like the deli.
