Kale- there would be drama no matter where you mod, but I think it's a little more noticible on smaller sites because everyone is much closer. I am actually a little surprised that you have one person as a mod, it amused me to see they were a mod here.

As for dealing with modding drama- I didn't put up with it, I also didn't suck up to the admins. :?

Marissa, I can't say that I know you or your situation; but I'm aure that it isn't bad enough that you would need to resort to killing yourself. =/

I doubt that the crown is a copy of Mene's items. Gaia had just released a French noble type set so having a crown would make sense.
Besides,I'm sure the original casino crowns have been around longer than Mene's been around. :roll:

If anything, Gaia originally copied off of Ragnorok (or whatever) Online because L0cke and Ling use to play, and L0cke maybe a good portion of the original items.

ETA: Kale, I was just refering to one of the mod's here, I've seen them around, worked a bit with them and they tend to be the center of drama quite often from what I''m told. Not saying that it has anything with the drama that you are refering to, just musing out loud.

I actually prefer the ones on Gaia from the last donation items there n_n;;

but that just sounds wrong and looks so suspicious about teh chicken things and crowns thing . suddenly gaia have things like that o.0

yeah it's funny how the chickies were similar but the time that went into making them I hardly believe was enough time to turn around and try and do a rip off like that anyways. I think it's just what happened. maybe somewhere from either site it got leaked I suppose. -shrugs-

There are only so many ways to make the basic shape of a crown really. So unless all the details were the same, it's not copying.

As for the chickies, you are refering to those little blob things right? They just look like a really poorly done version of the chickie mask from Gaia.

It amuses me how all the "Gaia-like" sites have loyalists saying how Gaia ripped off their items when really the items are not particularly unique to begin with. Especially Gaia which has so many thousands of items. :roll:

I haven't seen the chickie items here, but I'm saying why Gaia's items look the way they do. :o

As for the crowns, I'm not saying anyone copied anyone else. I'm saying both are a common design. Just doing an image search for "crown" on google and you will see the same designs as both Gaia and Mene and Ani and where ever.

Gaia's been around for well over 4 years, they get millions of dollars in funding and have a paid staff of over 20 people (that I can personally name). I'm pretty sure Gaia has better things to do than look around at other sites seeing what items they can copy. :roll:
