You'll get better with practice. My cooking was awful when I got married. My hubby had been doing all the cooking. Then I felt bad so I starting doing dinners and eventually I became a good cook. For a long time I was deemed the Bisquick Queen by my mom and sisters since all I could cook was the stuff on the back of the Bisquick box.

Oh I have comon sense and it works well on the kitchen ^^ I can cook pies and pastries and tortilla and pasta ....salads? idk not really much since we barely never eat meat but most of the times we eat what mom send us >.< hahahhahahahah she is scared of Zalo eating well so she send us food hahahahhahahhahahahahha !!!!!

Unfortunately, I have a dysfunctional kitchen so I can't use it much.

Now that we are living w/my husband's parents I don't have to worry about cooking so much. They do a lot of the cooking and take care of us. But I try to cook good meals to share as a thanks and to give them a break, too. When we lived with my parents I ended up doing all the cooking all the time unless it was my husband's day off and he could cook. When I had my night classes my parents would feed my kid but not bother to eat themselves. Or they would wait until my husband got home from work (late) to start dinner. I learned to cook enough for leftovers the night before a night class.

Whew! Thanks for letting me vent there. Didn't realize that was still bugging me.

Mine is very small with almost no counter space or storage space. The stove top barely works and the oven takes 1/2 to pre heat to like 200 degrees, then skyrockets to 600 in minutes.

I rarely cook at home, though I have been doing it more lately.

I am better at making bread and cakes and things like that then making meat and other things.
