you need some REAL man who take care of you, but you know what? you have to make it good for yourself first. you have to erase every single footprint you have of bad thoughts and get out of there sweety, you start all over some new place even if you have nothing you will have the moral and the self love that is the most important thing you can achieve...

I'm in Indiana and no I don't have a high school diploma or G.E.D. I was four credits shy of graguating. I hated school with a passion.

you can always find a place for adults to finish school? I finished school at night the last two years due to a depression problem I lost a year...

Well, really a license isn't necessary unless you live in a place where walking, bike riding, or public transit are not options, like Flink does. Everything's too far away for her to do any of those.

@FlinkPamingo- I know that feeling all to well T_T and by the time you do just what they want they say you did it half ass... I don't even know what that means last time I checked my booty was all there. Why can people never be happy?

you will have to ask him for some responsability dear, he must find the money for you to be somewhere for a while or you wont move anywhere.

I really really want to get my liscense as soon as possible so I can find a job since there are no walking distances of places to work here, I can't ride a bike for shit and the only public transportation are taxi's that's if they have those but that would just be too expensive.

My G.E.D. will have to wait for awhile.

Flink's sure for her stepfather it stems from his father being the same way. While growing up he, nor his siblings, could never do anything right. So he just gave up then and now he tries to hold everyone to near perfect standards that are impossible to reach.

Shrangrala: Good luck on finding a job. It's hard finding a job in the US without a GED/Diploma. Any certain type of job you want to pursue?

I have been trying to look up for internet jobs online but the ones I knew worked for sure were in spanish sites =( Im sorry....lets think about something else.

Well you know there are factory jobs where you really would not have to lift all that much. Sometimes there are places that you can get jobs where you will check for quality on an item.

Like a place that uses injection molds to make caps for pop bottles. You could work in a factory like that checking the caps to make sure that they are not malformed or have any holes.

you have to make some friends on the neigborhood, your mistake is staying inside, really if you can talk and meet people maybe they could help..?

You should ask one of those people who offered to let you take them up on that offer.

Flink thought none of the people who offered to help her drive would do it. Until she finally decided, to tell them, "Sure. Just name a time."

Of course, it was in a cow pasture, but it was a start. Flink just had to resist temptation since she hates cows. >.>
