My day has been ok, how has yours been?

I've been alright when my cold medicine was working, but when it wears off I have to take more and it makes me sleepy.
I hope I feel better by the time I have to work tomorrow morning.

You're welcome, and I was being sincere.
I had to get my picture taken for a contest at work yesterday and I had a hard time not smiling.
I needed to look serious for the shot, and it took eight tries to get one that was good.

Well, at least you can look happy in a picture. It is hard for me to do that, because I don't smile much.

I bet you have a nice smile.
But you can pull off the serious look quite nicely.

Naw, my smile is not very good. I have bad teeth so I can't pull of a real smile, all I can do is grin.

I like the monotone coloring of your picture.
Reminds me of how much I like black and white photography, even though cream color is more predominant in your picture.

I think that my picture looks like that because I had to brighten it up. the room was to dark when I took the picture and you could barely see me.

You did a nice job of lightening it up without it becoming grainy.
I've found that adding a little dark tone to pictures like snow scenes, which we get a lot of film of here, the contrast makes them look much better.

I have become pretty good at editing lighting and things on pictures and in movies.

That's cool.
I bet that would be a great thing to do professionally.

Plus I don't think I would enjoy it much.
