Yeah - part of the reason I'm waiting on the EV is because while it will probably be a lot of money- it will save and it helps more than a hybrid - for now I'll stick with my '04 Elantra. :lol:

I don't have a car, well I own one with my hubby but I never drive it. It's just a little white sunfire.

Chris and I share my car - it's in my name and I pay the insurance and car payments - but I don't ever stop Chris form using it when he needs it.

We're really lucky that we can get away with having only 1 car - it's a little inconvenient at times- but we make due.

<3 we only have one car too. Sadly it means if the kids have appointments he either needs to take off time from work, or get a ride from someone. If I have an appointment he just needs to take off time from work because there is no way I'm going to be at the dentist/gyn/random doctor and having 3 kids running around destroying things >.<

fflur- I'm still undecided about how I feel about the seats turning around. :/

Joe and I are the horrible people that have 2 cars. XP He had his pick-up truck and I have my car. Because I live so close to work I walk now, but before it was necessary for me to drive. And with Joe's work an hour away he really has to have his own car.

Personally I don't like the fact that the seats rotate because in most vehicles there are airbags located in the back of the front seat's headrests. And if the seat is flipped around when an accident occurs then the people in tose seats have no frontal airbags.

I'm all about airbag saftey though. Thats why I bought my Sonata. Its got airbags EVERYWHERE and they are all standard. Saftey is my number one priority when looking for a new vehicle.

I had no say in our car :P Scott and his mom bought it 4 months before we got married. He traded in his truck to get it. Poor kid misses his truck but there is no way we could have put a car seat in the 'back seat' of it. since there was no actual back seat or seatbelts XD
Infant car seats are rear facing because it is safer for them to be. Air bags could kill them. The seats flipping backwards might be safer for some scenarios of car accidents Scott and I were talking about it before and we came up with quite a few pros and cons before whatever show we were watching came back on XD
Scott and I had two cars back in CA but we left one of them there since we couldn't move cross country with two XD it was too impracticle to have one of us driving a moving truck and the other driving a car dealing with the kids. Just wasn't going to happen >.<
