white- after. she got it about 2 years ago. had the lump removed and went through chemo and radiation. Also took out a lymph node to make sure it hadn't spread. which it hadn't thankfully. >.< I know men can get it too. and I am planning on getting examined when it comes up. I'll find out when I start getting those come next monday since I have a womanly appointment then XD but we'll see. what is considered infantile stages? when you just notice the lump?

Well cancer cells on a simpler tone are live cells gone haywire. They just keep going and going and going...
Which is bad since your body only need a certain amount of cells and anymore is just plain...NO.

Some cancers start off as cysts. At that time, they're basically just stuff in you that you can remove.

But when they turn into cancerous stuff, get them treated before they spread.

The tricky thing is... When for example it's the skin that's having the cancer, it spreads it's cancerous self say to some other organ. The scary thing is...

Why the hell do you need skin cells in your lungs?! O___o; Yup. They don't transform into the cell of their next destination. They stay as they are. Energizer bunnied and continuously multiplying stuff.

There's a method where the patient's immune system is being used for the theraphy. It sounds cool and unconventional too! Not to mention with the less side effects since most medications cause a lot of pain. X____x;

Cancer is kind of hereditary, if someone got it before...chances are you will too but it depends on the circumstances if you'll have it...
If anyone else in your family did get it other than your mom then it's possible it is in your DNA. If not then I suppose you don't have the trigger for cancer at all.

Still... -.-; Just because you don't doesn't make you any less in danger. We're all in danger of getting sick.

Just a matter of what and when. So let's just try to enjoy and keep ourselves fit.

Plus... It helps to have some money store for it should it happen too. :S

<3 Scott likes saving and having emergency money anyway so money isn't really a problem for me. We have about 3 months worth of bills and groceries saved up so far.

So far it is only my mom that I know of that has had cancer in the family. But since it is a woman and closely related to me I know that the chances of me getting it are higher.
The only thing that annoys me is I heard on the news once that breastfeeding helps prevent cancer. my mom breastfed all four of us and yet she still got it.

fflur-the AA's had pink for a while before juru changed it back to orange since people were complaining. pink would be nice though >.>

I've got a ton of family with cancer. The closest fighters to me are my dad, grandma, and great aunt.
