So we ordered our new computer yesterday. I can't wait for it to arrive! Flat screen monitor, 4GB ram :drool: its going to be awesome. Should get it next week sometime. This old clunker has done me well...but its time for something faster. ^^;; and sleeker. >.> Sadly the new one isn't pink...but it wouldn't have matched the living room if it was. lol.

We are probably going to look into a new puter after school starts... Mine has 2 gigs of ram and a flat screen but with both of us seeking online classes there is going to be fights over the computer >.> I was thinking of getting a lap top that can hook up somehow to my main puter... That way I can do word processor type stuff while dillon is doing online type stuff LOL.... and visa versa! That way we can both be working at the same time and I can not be distracted by internet games, sites... regular games etc...

Our current one has just over 1GB of RAM. its slow as all else and driving us crazy! If he has programs open on his log in and I log onto mine, I can really only run one program or else it backs up like crazy. It's generally running at close to 80%+ its ability because it just doesn't have enough RAM! I bought it another GB a while ago...but it didn't have much to begin with, and being an older computer...it also didn't have much room for more! So it could only use like .38 or something of the RAM we bought it. >.> Luckily I got it for pretty cheap. xD

My brother is also sending me a notebook he never uses. So I'll have that...though it uses I can't remember what the name of the program is... xD Its not Windows and its not MAC's operating system...its the one that computer junkies use since its more customizable? xD I dunno, in any case I'll have to learn to use that before I can start working with it. But it is internet capable which is all I need since I plan on taking 2 internet classes this semester. :3

With our tax return we bought a 2 gig stick and replaced the 512 (you know you can't put two unlike sticks of RAM together... that could be the problem)... Mine runs fine... It currently has driver issues because I deleted a file that apparently attached itself to my video drivers >.> and bah... But it can run SIMs 3 the internet and Microsoft word no problem on only 2 gigs of ram... A computer with too much space will wanker off with the extra space... Not that I am a computer wiz but my mom has a 4gig and my brother and sister only use it for Itunes, the net and microsoft works... That computer is slower then mine (which has world of warcraft, sims 2, sims 3 word, net, starcraft, the orange box... and probably more that Dillon is hiding on his side >.>) cause it is wankering off with extra space! One of my friends is a computer programmer and the other loves to build computers... I get my information from them LOL and make them do the dirty work... Mostly cause I am too lazy...

How old is it exactly... Mine is around 3 years old now... Which is old in puter years... And it can't have more then the 2 gigs we bought it... But it isn't bad all things considered... I bought the LCD screen last year too with taxes to make space on my desk for me to write since my other "flat screen" monitor was so bulky there was only enough room for my key board and the monitor LOL

Our computer is 5 now actually. xD Super old in computer years.
It had a 1GB stick in it, thus we picked up another 1GB stick...but it can't use all of the one we bought. xD No idea why, talked to computer friends about it and they explained it but it kinda went in one ear and out the other. >.>

Had my brother on the phone when we were picking out what we wanted on our computer and he was giving me advice. :3 He's a comp wiz, builds his own...the whole shebang. So I trust it will do us well. Our monitor + new speakers should arrive tomorrow or Saturday. And the actual computer should be built tomorrow and get to us the middle of next week... I'm just so excited!
We have the old monitor...the one with the giant butt sticking out that weights a metric ton. xD I'll be glad to be done with it! Thats for sure. Finally a nice new sleek flat screen. <3 18.5 inches too! hurray! xD I'm just so excited!!
