We all get busy from time to time. Sure Mel is busy with her 3 right now and Jaz is probably running around after her 2.
Me, I am sitting here at home watching TV and wishing that I didn't feel like crap.

For the most part my sister is all right and living with her is not that big of deal, but there are times when she can be a royal pain in the ass about the dumbest stuff.

My sister has been told how intelligent she is her entire life... How much potential she has and BLAH BLAH BLAH... She is smart in the fact that she iss good at reading and comprehending literature... But she really isn't that smart...
All she has to do is tell someone she researched something (like the camera she bought my son this year which she SWORE got awesome reviews and it turns out to be a POS) and everyone takes it as if she craps gold BAH... She is just a liar who can get away with anything... Makes me mad ><

We weren't compared to each other, but she gets all picky over the most insignificant things. Like the dishes. She will let them stack up and start to stink before she complains about how I don't do the dishes. Well let's think about this for a minute, none of the dishes are mine. The stinky ass coffee cups with 4 day old milk sitting in them are not mine and I wash my dishes almost right after I use them.
The kitty litter box...I was gone for 4 days and she didn't clean it once! Yet she is the first to complain about the smell of the cat box. So nice of her.

When Rodd gets back from Spain we will be looking for our own place eventually. Just not sure as of yet. Can't live with my sister forever and I certainly don't want to, that's for sure.

Jaz- is it the discovery kids photo/video camera? My mom and my mother in law both got one for the kids. But I can't get it off video mode and it's totally blurry. [/fail] They won't even leave my camera alone for it which was the entire damn reason for buying them their own! :headdesk:
I have a headache. I'm slightly worried about classes starting tomorrow, since the bookstore hasn't told me that my order is in yet. I need my damn books! If I don't have my books I can't do my course work, if I can't do my course work I'll fail my classes, if I fail my classes I can't graduate in May ahhhhhhhhh *freak out*
Ugh. I hate it when I get things done far ahead of time but other people are dragging their feet. I ordered my books a month ago!
(I know I won't fail my classes)
It's almost 9. Scott is already in bed...but I don't want to go to bed. I'm not tired. blah.

It is the playskool digital camera I think... I told her if she wanted to get one to get the Vtech cause so far I have had no qualms with that one >.> The pictures are TERRIBLE... They are so easy to blur... I even blur pictures just cause of my shaky hands much less my hyper active 5 year old trying to spin and take pictures... She was better off giving Mikes her old slightly broken digital... He is awesome at taking pictures with that!
jo18 my sister is 7.5 years younger then me >.> she isn't all that smart... aside from learning to read at three which was because I had trouble reading so I read to EVERYBODY as practice..... Including my 4 and 1 year old brothers at the time and her... She just picked up on it faster then my stupid brothers did cause the older younger brother had a hearing problem... And I believe I mentioned my littlest brother is just plain dumb!

jo- On behalf of smart older big sisters everywhere I'd like to apologize for what you had to go through. I was always the smart one in the family that my sister got compared to. Now they still compare her to me since I've got my life together and she's out dating scum bags. ^^;; She gave up during high school to rebel against my shadow or something like that. So she ended up going to a continuation school which is generally just for gangsters that are trying to go straight and teen mothers. I feel kinda bad for it...but ya know, I can't really help that I'm smart. I just...am.
Jaz- hmmm...both the ones my mom and my mil got were the discovery kids ones. I haven't even bothered to put batteries in the second one yet. It's just...not worth it. >.<

Hearing you guys discuss digital cameras for kids, I will just buy my kids cheap digitals and let them have fun with it. No need to buy special kid ones.
I was the middle child and my older sister was out of the house long before I got into middle school and high school so I wasn't compared to her at all. Just got pushed into the backgroudn because of all the damn issues my little sister had. Mom and Dad were more focused on her, she was also tearing my family apart being a little bitch, plus using my parents against each other. Came to head one day when I told her that we never wanted her, but we had to have her. Plus she could no longer call mom and dad by those titles, she had to use their first names since she wasn't their real daughter.
Let's just say I was pushed to the breaking point.

I haven't actually looked at reviews for any of the kids cameras but I can see why a kid should have a regular digital... Mine comes apart into a million tiny swallowable pieces O_O but my sisters broken camera doesn't... It only has the memory card and the batteries and it is really easy to use! Mine is... Not so much! I think the make actual kids cameras that aren't as durable as the one I have for mikes but it has to work better then the one he has now O_o;; even if it means I have to keep it out of his brother's reach!
I bought spent 10 or 11 dollars on the batteries for Michael's camera... I bought him lithiums in hopes I wouldn't have to replace them every 3 days LOL what a waste of money... He doesn't even play with the thing!

I don't want the kids touching my camera. They've almost broken it twice. Once playing with the lens cover, they kept it from closing and it didn't want to close back. And another time they did something to keep the lens part from going back into the camera. I was NOT happy! Besides, it's pink, small, fits easily into my purse and was a mothers day present.
I have an older camera that I gave to my mom that she brought back and forgot to take that they could play with and I wouldn't care, but since they grandparents got them their they may as well at least have one of them...even if the pictures/videos are blurry and suck.
Scott is teaching Kura piano right now. It's cute. He's in total father mode right now. It's oddly hot. xD

Awe that sounds adorable!!!
My sister bought Mikes his and Sean plays with it more then Michael and not really to TAKE pictures but to look at the world though the digital screen... I bought Michael a fake camera that looks real last year for his 5th birthday... And he plays with that all the time... I PERSONALLY think my sister was trying to one up me >.> so I am kind of glad it back lashed in her face!!!!
She also bought Sean a Radio flyer pony... I like it... But Sean seems uninterested LOL

My camera is pretty simple, just batteries and the memory card. Let me cousin's kid have fun with that thing, not only did they come back with some awesome pictures, but it was in damn near perfect condition. A few scratches, but nothing more then just cosmetic.
