LOL. no. There is no way for my eggs to become fertalized by accident, as the fertilization of the eggs is not done inside of my body. They harvest the eggs from the donor, get the sperm from the couple and then mix it all up and watch the embryos grow. Those embryos are put in me and grow. Never are the sperm anywhere near my under-developed eggs. And I used under developed strongly. The Lupron I'm on keeps the folicles from developing into hardy-waitin-for-the-sperm-eggs.

And if the couple has any questions on paternity/maternity they can do testing in-vitro or after the baby is born.

Oh I didn't know that they kept you on a medication to keep your eggs from developing that is really interesting... I get excited and ask too many questions I am pretty sure LOL

Right now I'm on Lupron to keep my ovaries supressed, and Estrace to build my lining.

And don't worry about asking too many questions, I don't mind it at all xD

sometimes bodies don't react how they're supposed to. Like how even on birth control people can get pregnant. It's pretty much the same thing. Also why I'm not allowed to have sex right now. (Though sex also increases the chance for any type of infection "down there" and that could harm the baby. So 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after transfer is abstinence. fail. </3) Scott has no sperm so paternity isn't an issue, and I doubt they'll bother testing for maternity since I won't challenge them or question it myself. Even if it IS somehow MY baby genetically, its not my baby mentally. Not that I don't care about my kids or anything, because I do, it's just I have no doubt that the meds are working on me since they check my ovaries every time I go in for an ultrasound and my folicles are suppressed. So if some miraculous thing happens where my eggs just appear and Scott somehow gets sperm again and we have sex 3 weeks after the transfer and it turns out I got pregnant by that...I'll just laugh. Besides, the age of the fetus would show that it wasn't the right age regardless, and the parents and I would know that it couldn't be there baby which would make it MY baby. and yeah. I wonder what would happen then? Would I be put on hold as their surro, would they find someone else? *ponders* xD

I got psyche dropped today. I don't have time for being a full time student right now. I already missed the first assignment and it was just too much for me. >.< World lit has 100+ pages of reading a week, bio has 2 chapters a week (approx 50 pages) and I want an easy class for number 3 to graduate with just so I don't feel overly stressed. So I'm keeping theatre appreciation. It's like 20 pages a week but most of her answers are in her powerpoints so it's super easy. 170 pages a week + 3 kids + housework+ I'll be gone for a bit for the transfer + medications that make me crazy? Yeah I couldn't handle the extra 1 unit a week the instructor was assigning on top of his 50 question quizzes, and he had 3 of them due on Saturday! [/fail] I'm so glad that stress is removed.

I need to start a load of laundry today but I have stuff from my window seals in the sink right now so I can't... The other day we found mold in the boys' bedroom window seal so I have been trying to systematically bleach the hell out of all the window seals... We have 5 windows... I've cleaned out 4 and of those 4, 3 of them had mold growing in the crevices from the humidity in this apartment >.> I sooooo can't wait to MOVE!

Jaz, that just sounds terrible about the mold. Gotta love the way little things like that can cause all kinds of horrible things for us humans.

Here is something worse then that: My older sister's friend Kathy was living in an apartment building that had Bedmites! So she had to move out of the apartment and basically leave all of her possessions behind because it was a bad infestation. The apartment building people tried to say that the bedmites must have come with them when they moved from their old place. Well that might have been true, if several other occupants hadn't complained of the very same thing. I think the building people just didn't spray for bugs like they were suppose too.

It is hard to get rid of bed bugs O_O they tell you if you are infested with it you have to either discard (and place a sign declaring the infestation or destroy the furniture so no one else picks it up) any furniture infested with them or place it in a giant plastic stack with no holes for one to two years... Then you have to spray with a special spray designed just for that type of mite ><* Then to make matters worse if you have it more then likely your neighbors (in apartments at least) and theirs have it as well and unless the building evacuates the entire premises they just kept spreading and reinfecting areas that were sprayed it is NASTY... She should report them (and I should too really)... One of the maintenance guys knocked on our door a couple of months back cause some of these apartments have bed bugs! I freaked and super cleaned everything! We don't have bed bugs we have obnoxious spiders that REALLY like my blood ><**

I am worried that the mold is black mold... O_O;; It is really hazardous and extremely hard to get rid of... We can't get to all the areas in the windows that have the mold in them so I am praying that spraying the hell out of the cracks and crevices we can't get to will stop the molds growth... The second I see more I am going to report it to not only the housing people but to the health inspector... That crap can be deadly! I am lucky Dillon found it! They are going to try to blame the mold on my plants I know it >.> but the only window that DOESN'T have mold is the window that houses my one surviving fern... So they better not even try!

Jaz, have you purchased a mold test kit? Ellie's house had a ton of mold in it--luckily none of it was black mold, or at technically unhealthy levels, but it still affected my health when I moved in. Do you have any kind of idea when you get to move out?

We haven't even gotten a chance to see if we qualify for a loan yet. We are hoping to be able to move by April at the latest! Even if we don't qualify for a house we are going to move into a rental by then! Colorado isn't known for being particularly humid either which is what makes me most irritated. My apartment is so humid that when you walk in the door your glasses INSTANTLY fog up and there is constantly condensation on the door nobs and windows. In the winter time particularly there is now way to really get rid of it either unless you freeze yourself out. I've never heard of a mold test kit where do you get it O_O

Pretty sure Home Depot or another local hardware store would have it. Seems logical that they would. So now Kathy has the bare minimum of furniture, cookware and plates. My sister went to ikea and bought new dishes and is giving the old stuff to her friend.

On a totally unrelated topic....is there anyone that is as picky as I am about bananas? Has to be on the greener side, absolutely no bruising and those stringy things, gross.

I like when bananas are PERFECTLY yellow... no bruises (I cut mine out) and yes the stingy things are gross LOL kind of taste like deodorant... (yeah I took a bite out of deodorant when I was little it is GROSS!) Oh and it can't be browning... They get too sugary when they start to brown!

My dad is the complete opposite of me, he loves them when they are over ripe! Gives me the willies everytime.

The other night when I was hanging out with Fflur and her husband, we got into a discussion about bananas and it seems that he and I absolutely love our bananas the same way. :lol: Fflur said it was frightening that we had something in common.
