I really need to see one I was using a toothpick to get something out of my teeth like 2-3 months ago and lost a huge chunk of my tooth and a filling... I hate not having any kind of insurance... Dillon's won't cover me without us paying his entire salary (pretty much) cause I have a "pre-existing condition" it isn't like I am dying GEEZ!!! So we decided not to get insurance at all >< medicaid covers us on and off and completely covers the kids all the time but right now we apparently make too much which doesn't makes since since Dillon hasn't gotten a raise since last year......

Jaz, I love how they pull that crap...you make too much. My friend Tari and her boyfriend practice "safe" sex and use condoms because she doesn't qualify for MediCal. Well she got pregnant despite their safety precautions. So she went to planned parenthood because she doesn't have any insurance and can't afford another kid. Well they told her, "Sorry, it will cost you $900 for the smush smorshmon." Basically, she was SOL. Can't afford to have the kid, and can't afford to get rid of it. They ended up finding a couple that couldn't have kids and gave the baby to them and they paid for all the medical costs.

That would be to hard for me to give up a baby... I wouldn't ever forgive myself... I have one more month before I run out of birth control... Mikes is a hail to the failure of condoms LOL... Sean is hail to the failure of just birth control (from what they were telling us he was conceived while we were using BOTH but I don't know how much I accept that) I am nervous about not having birth control especially cause my hubby can be a horn dog ><*

I've heard another great thing about being a lesbian (or so says my friends Andy and her twin sister Amy) is that one of them will never have to have the pap... and the other will @[email protected] Andy said she has been attracted to girls and since she can remember never even dated a guy and Amy said she hid her attraction to girls cause she wanted to fit in. To the point of sleeping with a man even. The doctors told Andy she wasn't at risk for the virus cause she wasn't sexually active in the since that most people think about (kind of the same reason little girls don't have to have Paps I suppose... )... Andy and her girlfriend have two or three kids now. All adopted from within their families! I haven't seen them in YEARS though... The last time I saw Andy was when the first adopted baby was probably about 2-3 months and I only glimpsed her walking througn my store... The last time I saw Amy was at the grocery store... And her girlfriend was with her... and her girlfriend is uuuubber freaking clingy... and possessive... She is the reason we all stopped hanging out... >.>* Apparently me in all my straightness is threatening to Amy's girlfriend... Although aesthetically I think the female form is MUCH more attractive then the males... Male form is more functional for me ROFL...

Both should still get paps, even though you can't get sexually transmitted diseases you can still get infections, or polyps? I think that's what they're called anyway. But you can get growths that need to be taken care of whether you're sexually active or not.
Young girls don't need paps because they haven't matured 'down there' yet. But you should get one when you get your period. Just no one wants to put a child through that, so they generally say when you become sexually active you should get one. :3

Well you CAN get STD still. It is just a smaller chance, then straight people or gay men ><;; a Pap tests for Human Paploma (?) Virus and a few other things that cause cervical cancer... You have to get a special test for STDs though they ask me everytime I go @[email protected] Makes me feel so uncomfortable...

A smaller chance is still a chance though. And during the exam, there's also a breast portion (at least there always has been for me) where they check for lumps. I dunno, I think it's stupid to not go for an annual check. It takes all of 10 minutes, it's uncomfortable yes, but it could potentially save your life. *shrugs*

I didn't know anything about it when I watched it I hadn't even seen the cover to it when we rented it... My husband loves horror and suspense and I don't let him watch it often cause I am exactly the same... It isn't terrible but it got to me... But I think Johnny Depp did a very good job singing. And I can listen to the music with pretty much no problem though.

I was just saying that there was a change for STDs cause you had said there wasn't..... I've had a couple exams were they didn't do the breast portion. I never said I didn't go it was a couple of old friends that were talking about it I just took their word for it because it didn't apply to me. *shrugs*

The last time I had mine done I was still 25 and should have had the STD check done, but the doctor didn't order it done. Which struck me as odd since the nurse had already told me what to expect from the pap. Kind of irritated me even more when I went to my regular doctor to have the results read (which were normal) but he tells me that the other doctor should have done the damn STD tests.
Never seeing that OB GYN ever again. Lazy prick

I have one every year. xD I don't think I've ever had the STD test though, well until I became a surrogate because it was required. So I know I'm STD free. And I'm pretty sure I'll remain that way since the only person I have sex with is Scott so the chance of me getting a disease sexually is pretty astronomically out there. hurray for one sex partner!

I consented to just about every test because It's just blood. If they find something, they could probably fix whatever it is or at least give me meds to take care of it to the best of their ability.
