lol, I think you guys already know you're better friends to me than my RL friends. Mostly because they're a little non-existent in this neck of the woods. ^^;;

Andais- A healthy body is essential for carrying healthy babies. (: You can do it!!

[edit] okay maybe not essential but it certainly helps A LOT. I baby sat for a woman that smoked through out her pregnancy and claimed it had no effect what so ever on her under 4 pound baby. The kid had colic up the wazoo...but I'm inclined to believe it wasn't colic but withdrawl symptoms. in the womb the baby was getting the same nicotine that the mom was, it was being transferred over, as soon as the baby was born she wasn't getting it any more and her body was used to having it. So the same craving/withdrawl symptoms adults go through, the baby was dealing with. Not to mention the low birth weight, and the mom didn't want to breast feed. It was just...it was a disaster. Her mom decided that the way to deal with her colic-y baby was to get drunk every night and ignore her. FAIL. But that isnt so much a smoking issue as me bitching about some of the mothers I had to deal with and how idiotic they are.
4 pounds is LOW birth weight. SRSLY.

Jessi and I were BBMing last night about which way to do it, cold turkey or gradual step down. Well I think cold turkey will be the easiest since most of the people that I hang out with don't smoke anymore so there is no one to bum from. :yes:

I figure when I hit the 3 month mark for not smoking is when I will start working more specifically on a work out plan to drop the excess weight

That sounds like an excellent plan Andais. (:
3 months your body should already be showing dramatic improvements in health so it's certainly a good time to start!

Besides, Think of all the money you'll be saving not buying cigarettes! You'll be able to buy a new wardrobe for your hot new bod! ^o^

This is so very true. However, the getting of a new wardrobe requires me to go shopping and shopping sucks.

Most girls do like shopping I am just a freak and detest it. Although I do need to hit the coach outlet store and see about getting a new purse. It's time for a new one and retire the small one for a bit. Don't want to go huge, yet I do need a little more room.

lol, see I'm a freak in that I won't spend more than $40 on a purse. Even That is pushing it for me. If I can't get it for $10-$15 I won't bother with it. Though I may go "all out" and get a Harajuku lovers cherub girls print purse after the baby(ies) are born. We'll see. ;D But that's like $58...and more than I want to spend. Maybe I can find one at Ross or whatever the other stores like it are called for cheaper. That would be win. <3

It's one of the few things that I splurge on and it's worth it to me. My current coach looks damn good for being 2 years old.

Jazzy needs a new wardwobe >.> BAD... Like BAAAD... I am running seriously low on pants that are comfy and cute... The cute ones I do have are kind of tearing and the comfy ones I have are getting too small... Jazzy needs to get to the Y and get a membership for SO many different reasons ><; Jazzy is having a girly fit but didn't want to stay at Ross for too long yesterday... Maybe I can convince Dillon to let me go there tomorrow so I can actually LOOK for clothes... But I've been super stingy with my money lately even though I do NEED the new clothes I'm like "oh well I can wait another year" ><;;

You need a girl friend to go with you and not let you skimp on cute comfy clothes, Jaz. I do the same thing when I am alone and shopping...even to the point of putting something back that's on sale and looked good on me, I get self conscious and cheap.

The Coach outlet sells their purses for like 50-75 percent less then what you find in their regular stores, or even their website. Makes shopping that much better and guilt free.

I need to go shopping sometime soon, but I'm between sizes, and am TRYING to get back to a 12, so I don't want to buy too much yet.

I would kill to be a 12 *dies* I hate buying clothes because they are hideous, or look funny on me *sighs*

A lot of clothes look funny on me too because my chest is too big for the size I am. So, if I wear a 14, its baggy. A 12 is tight, even when I was 20 pounds lighter. A couple years ago I resigned myself to the fact I'll never be smaller than a 12...then I went ahead and gained 20 pounds...

Not going to get into how big I am, but let's just say it's double what you are. Too fat...gotta start dropping the pounds, thankfully salad diets won't work for me since my body doesn't tolerate lettuce too well. Means I need to eat smaller portions of healthier foods.

Jazzy FINALLY knows what size girl pants she wears O_O OMG... This needs to be noted! I haven't known what size I was since gee like freshman year of high school when I decided girl sizes were dumb!!! I am between sizes too I have a huge butt though >.> I wear a 12 cause my butt FITS in them but my waist doesn't >.>* my waist fits a 10 but my butt gets all Mashed... what does that mean??? I HAVE NO IDEA!!!

Went to ross with the kids and hubby and had a surprisingly pleasant experience got about 4-5 new jeans (2 pairs were levis and one calvin klein) and 2-3 pairs of capris ^_^ I love capris I wish I could wear them all year long <3 about five new shirts (not EXACTLY what I was looking for there so I am going to go to the ARC and possibly good will later) I am tired of looking 15 already BOOO... Got new bras and panties and two belts too... I am soo cheesey all for just a smidgen over 200 wee! I want a few more adult shirts though ^^ I feel all girlly and I loves it <3

Hurray Jazzy! Shopping spree for cheap ftw!

Mellie is a size 12 too. Crazy. But I'm slowly getting into a 14. xD I would work out to get rid of it and be back to a size 9 or 12...but I was told not to start a new work out routine and I've yet to find a place around here that does prenatal work outs. Found some prenatal yoga DVD's so I may pick some of those up...but I'm not too convinced that yoga will help me lose weight, but I think it will help me get back into shape after said baby(ies) are born when I can start a real work out and just reap the benefits of leaner muscles from yoga. We'll see. xD

Yoga and Pilates are good for core strengthening and longer leaner muscles, not necessarily losing weight.

Wow Jaz, some shopping trip!

I'm trying to eat more sensibly and using Wii Fit and EA Sports. The later is kicking my butt!

I am SO happy Ellie's brother got it for us last year. And I'm even happier that our roommate got those two games for Christmas this year. If she moves out, I'm going to be dropping a ton of money to get them.

Andais- like I said, I figure doing the prenatal yoga will benefit me in the long run of getting my body back after the baby is born. (:

One of my friends loves the dance game for wii. I've never played any of the "work out" games. Are they any good??
