How exciting! Sia isn't very far behind you is she? Suppose I should look into making a baby package for her. The blanket I was working on isn't going so well. *sighs* oh well.

technically I have 6 more weeks, but I'm hoping baby comes the first week of October since I don't actually want to deal with an induction on the 8th. xD
Yeah, sia is about a month behind me? I think. We're both coming up on our due dates shortly! I can't wait! Lower back pain will go bye bye! haha. Though, then I have to get my abs back into working condition...

lol I know Andais. It does take a while for everything to get back to where it's supposed to be though. That's the hard part. For like 4 days after birth I can poke my finger into my tummy far more than I should be able to! All the organs that were there take some time to move back into place while the uterus goes back to a normal size. Good times.
I'm actually looking forward to being able to move and work out again. And we'll be coming into winter in a few months which will promote me working out too. It's a good way to stay warm!
Jaz- at this point, that's a darn good question. I don't have abs, I have bones in my tummy!

Creepy Mel. Thanks for sharing on the poking of the stomach :gonk:
Exercising a good way to keep the core temp up. It hasn't really felt like summer here in so cal. So strange

Yoga is actually really relaxing. I would normally spend about 30 minutes doing it a morning, up until Kura started school...now I don't have time. I have to do it before I eat or drink anything or else I end up with really bad heart burn. @ [email protected] This kid is killing my throat! And if I wait too long to eat in the mornings I just get angry and mean. Not something I want to be! I miss doing yoga, and I think my body misses it too, since I've been so sore lately as well.
Andais- I never found it creepy...more like amusing. xD I think it might have scared Scott after Sakura was born but only because neither of us expected it. After the twins were born it was even more amusing, and lasted for about 3 weeks. @ [email protected] I blame the c-section for that though...

I don't know if the entire thing is disorganized, or if it's just that they acquired a new building to create a head start out of and that is causing disorganization in the process since they're still working on transforming it from a day care to a head start. :/ I've been trying to figure it out for a while now, and it's just...driving me crazy.

There is not much difference between a daycare and a headstart and a preschool.... Unless you are looking at an infant room... But I assume there are no cribs left in the building so it shouldn't have been that hard ><;

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe bring in some more tables and stuff...but I dunno. It's really annoying to me. At the same time though, according to the phone call we got mid last month the place isn't expected to open until September 8th. So I'm hopeful that at that time we'll get another call saying to bring the kids in...it would be nice to have some time with out my twin monsters! One more week and hopefully I,ll hear something!
Our speech therapist keeps asking about when their school is starting since she needs to know if she'll still be doing the therapy with them or not, and yet no one seems to know. I'm hoping she will, Aaron really likes her.

More then likely if your headstart is like ours... There will be a speech therapist on hand.... They have a lot of therapists there to help with early interventions ^^ headstart is awesome in that way! Though Mikes preschool had a speech therapist that came in once a week last year and worked with all the kids because there were two kids who weren't talking at all yet O_o can you imagine that at 4-5 years old... Not talking!!! I can't imagine that at 2... Once my kids learn the word mama they don't stop ROFL

Mine were 2 and not really talking. ^^;; My mom said my brother didn't start talking until he was over 3, and then he bust out with sentences and skipped most of those single word/phrase things.
It should have a speech therapist there. I've talked to them about it before, but I know that he really likes his current teacher and it took him almost a month to warm up to her so I worry that if he goes to a new one he'll have some regression and they'll make it out to be more than it is, since anti social behavior and non-verbal communications are both part of autism.

Maybe you can continue going to the speech therapist you see now so he stays somewhat comfortable... Then you can ween him off as he gets more accustomed to the one at school... You can always tell them that you'd rather wait a few months for Aaron to get comfortable before you jump on their accusations and you'd appreciate it if they treat him like any other child and not try to label him just yet... As you may not be an expert on Autism.... But you are an expert on Aaron, Melody and Kura!

grrrr my cat deleted my post...
I'd considered having him continue going to his current therapist. I really like her and so does he. If I'm able to, that's probably what I will do.
I've looked up signs of autism because it's what we thought he might have had before, but he was making eye contact and playing well with toys etc so I wasn't too concerned. But it was also something Hillary had mentioned as a possibility when she first spent time alone with him, but he'd ignored her completely and said nothing to her as well It wasn't until she called me in to talk with me about the possibility that he came out of his shell so to speak. But I won't be there with them at school to help with that, and I hate hearing that people think there is something wrong with my kids just because they have a speech delay. >.< Melody has worked past her issues and gotten to the normal speech levels and I know Aaron will too, he just needs more time.

I love that song too, which is weird, because her last two released singles annoy the hell out of me. I guess most singers will have one or two songs that I actually like. xD
