LOL. *fingers crossed* that you keep it at two kiddos this year. But you never know...there is what two more months before any conceived child would be born in the next year? There's still a chance!

I've yet to look into the insurance cost of adding another car to our policy... *sigh* I don't really want to look into it either. lol.

Can't say I blame you insurance is crazy expensive... And everything you own NEEEEEDS insurance O_O

Did I ever mention how much I HATE condoms O_O they are evil... The plus side to having a baby before January of next year would be that the baby would count for taxes the following year lol... I don't know... We are planning to try in April which would put us into December-January

I never liked them either. >.> They're...annoying. And I hate the smell of latex. And as soon as you open the damn little packet it's like BOOM latex. dislike.
I don't have to worry about them anymore though. ;D

I still need to get insurance for my wedding ring. ^^;; For now I'll just try not to lose it or let it get stolen.

OMG I've been off and on nauseous all morning :( I think it is cause I took my vitamin before eating earlier... Can't really explain this afternoon as my hubby has fed me. I am eating lunch at 3PM so maybe that is it... :/

My wedding rings are either too cheap or broken to add insurance... :/ I need to see about getting a new gem for my gold wedding ring and also my ring sized ><;;

Boo for nausea! D:

Scotts are pretty cheap, my first was too, my second was crazy expensive. (imo anyway) But I love it all the same. However one of the prongs that held it was always loose, and it still catches on things and I need to send it in to be fixed and stuff. But I have to SEND it in, which is the main thing I don't want to do. I wish I could find the store around here, but they only have one in San Diego and I think New York...I also need to get it cleaned. But I don't want to be with out my ring either. lol.

I am currently wearing my engagement ring cause both of my wedding rings are broken... my first split on the seam :( it is a sterling silver ring and the second (which was 500 something dollars crazy expensive in my opinion...) which is the gold ring got sent through the wash by accident... I am not even sure how it happened but when I found it it was missing it's emerald :(

I am feeling better at the moment I think I am getting sick... Heck I know I am I have a scratchy throat and a clogged nose from hell... It isn't too bad though!

Yikes! Boo for the emerald getting lost! D: That just plain sucks!

I thought I was getting another UTI yesterday, but I don't feel anything today, so I'm content for that not happening. Gosh it's cold here this morning though. And super windy. I dun like the wind!

I wasn't aware there were cranberry pills. Perhaps I should look into those as well?

I'd never had them until last month, and then I started getting one yesterday. I don't know whats changed, but apparently something has. And I dun like it. So I think it's worth trying at least. ^^;;

Yeah I'd never had one until a couple months ago... Then BAM... But a friend recommended a pill that starts with an "A" it was basically a cranberry pill... I also drink a cranberry tea that works pretty well and smells SOOOOO much better... I take the cranberry pills now but when the UTI showed up I was pretty sure I didn't have insurance, so I couldn't go to the doc and when I was at the doctor for my yearly a week or so ago she said I was all clear!

Woohoo! I haven't been to the doctor about it. But I can generally feel when something is off with my body so I'm not too worried about it. Though, since I am planning on being a surro again if it gets painful again I'm going in. I can't risk my woman parts! >.< I need to call my Gyn anyway, I need a copy of my pap for my doctors visit next monday for the physical before going to AK. haha.

So I'm wanting to make a lolita skirt and a matching tie for Melody...Or sakura, hopefully it will fit both of them since looking at the pattern, if I put in an elastic waist it should work for both of them. I've drawn out a doodle of what I want, I wish the girls had more collared shirts for the tie...but I'm not even sure if I can make a tie yet. Scott has a bunch of christmas ones he HATES and never wears, so I think I may seam rip one of those to see how it's done etc. Should be...fun to say the least. Then I also have to figure out how to downsize it to child size...I wish Scott was home so I could see how to tie a tie with test fabric so I can figure out the length I need...I can't remember how to tie them! D:

I bet youtube has a tutorial...

Do you still have the manual? You might be able to do some troubleshooting. Heck even if you don't have the manual you should be able to call the company for some tips on what to do...or possibly a copy of the manual. :3

I didn't think I'd enjoy sewing as much as I do. But it's just awesome to watch a yard and a half of fabric turn into something awesome. Though, the aprons were less than a yard...And on etsy.com Aprons of similar look go for like $30. D: If I get better and have more time to test them out/play with their strength and learn new tricks, I may try selling them. Because, by golly that would be a nice bit of money coming in for some of my ideas...

I think I have the manual somewhere. I also have a copy of the scanned manual on Dillon's computer... Neither of which have been too much help but then again.. I don't READ... I skim... I hate reading manuals and directions... I'd rather figure out pictures instead... ><;; And those have been WAY less then helpful... Unless the book has a storyline I tend to get really ADD about reading it lol....

But yeah the thread gets all bunched up from the bobbin my friends hubby couldn't even figure it out :/ and he is supposedly a PRO sew-er though I think he is more novice then he admits to lol

Soo -- totally random -- but I was looking around the Quest forum and I noticed the title of your thread and I immediately got the song from Moulin Rouge stuck in my head haha
Totally makes me want to watch the movie but it's at home and I'm at college at the moment T_T
Anywho haha
Just wanted to pop in and say I loved the thread title -- it's an amazing song <3

When you're threading the thread through the top of the sewing machine to the needle, do you have to drop your needle down to pick up the thread from the bobbin? Mine has me do that, and then I have to grab my seam ripper to get the threads to where I can hold them to start my sewing, otherwise they don't lock in with each other or the top one jumps out of the needle hole. I don't know if that made any sense... xD

I too skim manuals. I like trial and error better. Though, I broke a needle by doing that once, and have since decided to at least read the basic instructions. :lol:

Emma- Thanks. I adore the song too. xD

Mellie looks lovely. <3

What a cute project! I want to see pictures when it's done! :3 I never finished my scarf. :oops: I'm halfway done at least even though it's late and spring will be here soon. My gram takes a cranberry pill from gnc. But, I think she likes cranberry chews better.

I'll post pictures on my facebook page. :3
Right now all I have up there is my apron. Even though I also made an apron for Aaron, and a skirt for Sakura. (Hers was my first attempt and obviously too long, but she thinks it's more princess like that way so I didn't bother cutting it down to make it look like the proper size for her. lol. Silly girl. Melodys is more intricate. I think I have another two days with it at least. But only becasue I work on it after the kids go to bed and I'm trying to go to bed earlier tonight. 1 am is just too much for my body to handle in the wee morning hours of.. 6 am. xD

Yeah the bobbin under the needle... I've skimmed the manual and couldn't find anything :/ it says the tension might be causing the break... but it doesn't explain the bunching at all!
