Mine only mentioned tension too. xD I found my manual on the tv stand while cleaning up this morning. But I also don't know how to change the tension of the bobbin so I can't help. ^^;; It probably says it in the manual....haha

Mine has no pictures on the little insert I found (it was the quick solution guide not the actual manual) But, just play with it. Maybe you can get it to work?

SO the tie took forever to do. It was much harder than the skirt. Which was completely weird. I ended up hand sewing the back or else it would have been too think to tie. O.o So yeah, that was an adventure. A day to make a little tie. But I think the outfit came out quite nicely. (:

Like I said my friend downloaded the full manual. It is on Dillon's Laptop... And it has badly printed vague pictures... I wish I had more time to play around with the machine... :/ but I don't at the moment... Maybe someday......

Uuuuugh I'm so sick of dealing with possible housing issues. :/

But then at the same time I could ignore the housing issues and just stay here while Scott goes to Alaska with out us, but then I would be so incredibly lonely...would that be worth it? Being separated puts a lot of strain on a marriage, but so do money issues. While I know my marriage is strong, do I really want to invite those stressors into my life?

**hugs**

I know a lot of marriages that survive distance the first year of my best friend's marriage they were 2000 miles apart starting a week after their wedding. Dillon and I somehow survived the small distance that we had though it was a lot of strain cause I was pregnant... You guys will figure this out Mellie <3

If I stay I'll be pregnant and with the kids on my own for probably a year or two. I wonder if he could get it shortened to two years if he goes with out us? A normal duty station stay is 4 years, for Alaska with a family it's 3, for Alaska if you're single it's 2. But that's still a long time to be away from him. I don't even like the 8 hours he's at work!

Scott and I have done distance before. 2 months while pregnant with sakura, 6 months while along with Kura, 6 months while pregnant with the twins, and another 6 months when the twins were little. And we still have a strong relationship, but I HATE seriously HATE being with out him for any amount of time. ^^;; I'm completely obsessed with him, and he knows it, and doesn't mind it one bit. lol.

;o; *hugs mellie* I'd be eyes, too. :glomp:

I do have some happy news that I'm about to explode with! *o* A puppy! A precious puppy that I got to hold this morning. He's soooo sweet! He loves kisses, and being held, and rubbed...and omg...he stole my heart and I'm just full of awws... and bursting at the seams with cute and happy.

He's hanging out in his carrier for a bit while we're cleaning this morning. We have carpet and we're vacuuming/sweeping because he can find the smallest fuzzy. @[email protected] Even though it was done yesterday, we're really going to have to be on the ball with it everyday now.

see and see moar precious

OMG adorabible!!! I want a puppy... I am waiting for my hubbies loan to come in cause we are going to put up a chain link fence around the entire yard to keep kitty's at bay sort of since I know they can leap them but having an outdoor male cat also detours kittys... And to keep kiddos in gate... And other people's pit bulls OUT of my yard too >.> We have to wait to get a puppy until after the next baby is born... and life settles down after a baby makes it uproarious again!

 Thanks Snow aaaaaand: AWWWWWW TOOO CUTE!!

I've tried having puppies...of different sizes. And it's just made me realize that...I'm a cat person. :lol: I LOVE other peoples dogs, but I don't do well with them myself. ^^;;

Talked with Scott, he would get "geo-bachelor" pay if he goes with out us. It's worth thinking about, it's like $300 a month. Which is always helpful...but I still don't know if it's worth my loneliness! D:

Geo bachelor pay? I think so, 180 of that is family seperation pay, and the rest goes to him living on his own. Granted he'd either have to find a friend to stay with or get his own place, in which that money won't help AT ALL. And when food up there is 150% MORE than what it is here, when you think about it, it's not really that much help. :/ We discussed it last night.

Living on base would mean we don't get the housing allowance pay. Our housing allowance right now is like $1300/mo and it doesn't cover our house payment. >.< so if he lived on base we would be completely fucked.

So you see my predicament. lol.

I drove the Dodge Grand Caravan today. It was quite lovely! But I'm iffy on it, it's got a bad blind spot and I don't like that... hmmm..

It's a mini van correct... ALL minivans and SUV's have bad blind spots.... :/ it comes with being a taller car... I use to get PISSED cause people like to drive their cars up my butt in a mini van or drive RIGHT in the side blind spot >(

I can't see over my left shoulder like at all though. Scott says he was able to look through the sliding door window when he was driving, but this is what we discussed AFTER we'd test driven and headed home, so I'm not sure if that would work for me or not. *shrugs*

Today I was going to go down to the credit union on base with Scott (better finance rates!) but the twins had an early release (It's the last day of the month, why they do this I have no idea) and I had a doctors appointment. So after my appointment (I've been trying to lose weight, and managed to gain 5 pounds. utter fail. And I felt fat for a while, and then I looked in the mirror and realized I don't look my weight, so it's not that bad. ;D) But once I got done we did WIC shopping, got the twins, then went to the store and got aaron some new pants and shirts. He's been dressing like a japanese pop star lately. His tummy showing, his ankles showing...it's just silly. Boy grows so fast though! So we got him some new pants and shirts, and a suit that he wouldn't put away, he likes dressing up so I don't really have a problem with it as long as he wears it! And since Melody learned to tie her shoes, we got her a new pair of "tie shoes" she's so happy with them it's cute. "Mommy! Watch me tie my shoes!!" And we picked up a 10 pack of socks. Hopefully now they won't go through their massive pile of socks so quickly.

I've gotten 3 loads of laundry done, and a load of dishes. Still need to clean the kitchen floors, but I got the livingroom done already.

I know it's a good idea for Scott and I to get the mini van, but would it be financially irresponsible when there's so much around the house that needs to be done as well? It would help us out a lot. Scott wants it, but he has the same reservations about it that I do. :/

If I had any clue about cars, I'd offer advice. D': Depending on how badly the other things need to be done? Can any of it wait? Pros/Cons and weighing what would be more beneficial.

We've decided to get it. The pros outweigh the cons. Because if he does have to move, but we don't have the finances to move with him, I'd need a car here, and he would need one there. More than that, Whether we got the van or not we wouldn't have the cost to cover what were under on the house. And we'd have to wait and get one eventually anyway. Scott and I were both pretty set on this model of the Dodge Grand Caravan. Now we're dealing with our loan officer at the bank and getting all of that together. We should have the car by this weekend. Right now we're looking into the payments of it, and interest rates. I gotta remember to see if there's a penalty for paying it off early...

Finally got the quote on getting a new heater, $3400. Soooo much better than the $6-10k that was quoted to us two years ago! Which leaves us $7000+ left from our tax return for doing the rest of the stuff for the house. Scott has a friend who is a contractor who said he would do the stuff with us for waaaay under price if we paid for materials. Which is totally a-okay for me! And I found out that a lot of people are looking to rent right now. So if we can get the house refinanced and rented out to a coastie family coming in, we'll be set to go. I'm so glad the heater price is what it is! I was so sure it would be more, and praying that it would be less! (er less than I thought it was going to be) haha.
