My mom never let anyone come over because the house was always a mess. I was allowed to other peoples houses though. xD Generally, I'd rather their friends come over here, then them spend time at other houses. Then I know what's going on, or at least most of what's going on and I can guarantee that my kids are always supervised when they're with their friends. The uncertainty of them not under my roof worries me.
I kinda plan to be like Ursenbachs parents were, only more watchful. I talked to her mom about it before me and ursenbach had the falling out. And what I said above is essentially what she had said. She wants to keep her kids close so she can make sure they're safe, and if that means having their friends come over, then she'll be the "chill" parenting type and allow it. That really stuck with me.

I don't like taking the boys going to other people's houses... Mikes has had a couple of over friends house times .... Nor do I like people over my house, not because of a mess really, but because I have had a couple of bad experiences with kids in my house, particularly and ex friends boy who DESTROYED a whole bunch of Mikes and Sean's toys not to mention a few of my walls at the old apartment.... My niece confirms that feeling too... She runs a rampage whenever she visits the boys room was cleaned (by them mind you) on Thursday and she visited Friday... Both the playroom and the boys room are disasters... I am talking randomly just dumping toy buckets cause she CAN....

Yeah...I haven't had that problem. My kids will bring out toys, and everyone will play with them. The main problem I have is them not picking up the toys after everyone is done playing with them/gone home. But it's like one portion of the room, not the entire rooms/house. And this was after... 6-5 year olds and a couple of 3 year olds were over playing.

That's mostly what I'm afraid of. The not knowing what's going on stuff. And I know I wouldn't trust other parents to know what's going on either >.< pretty much the only person I'd trust is myself or shaun lol. I guess my mom. I'm really lucky she'll be watching them instead of a daycare because daycares scare me. Not sure I'd have kids under 5 over because of the mess reasons but who knows. maybe it'll still be messy either way.

Kids are messy no matter the age I think. Things get left out, it's all about watching them and catching it early so they can take care of it. *shrugs*

Are you planning to stay in So Cal? I thought Shaun lived else where? O.o

I bought two new bras today. >.> One of the underwires on one of my favorites started poking out. And during the move into this house the same thing had happened to another bra. I guess 4 years was their limit. ): So today I went and got replacements for them. Or ordered them anyway, they won't get here until next thursday ish. I love underwire bras...I just wish the underwire didn't wear them out so quickly!~

Steve was the ex before him and lived in Wisconsin. I was with him for 3 years so I think that's who you're thinking of. Before him it was Adrian and he was from Texas but would drive here to meet me so maybe him too? Shaun lives in Cali. He's actually the first in a long time to live in cali. He's just an hour and a half away. An hour with his driving. He speeds more than I do! Just before Shaun, I almost ended up in Florida with a guy named Bryan but Bryan I'd only met twice a year for 3 years at blizzcon and an annual guild meeting. I'd known him for 8. Longer than steve. Steve and I mostly met through him. Still good friends with Bryan even though we weren't ever technically together just lots and lots of flirting... and his offer to move me there and pay for fullsail just so we could date. Yesterday he said he'll get his floral shop to do the flowers for my wedding. I'm not sure that I'd feel comfortable letting a person that really liked me do something like that though.. seems cruel...

Oooooo think geek gave me a $10 off $30 purchase+ free shipping coupon for ordering something on cyber monday. SO.. now I'm looking for things I want from them.

can't find anything super awesome that's $30 >.<

:/ I need bras I can nurse in... I have two bras left from the bras that I bought when I "outgrew" my VS bras :'( I can't wait for my tata's to return to normal size... Considering VS measured me as a D when I wasn't pregnant I don't think they HAVE my size bra while I'm nursing... Not to mention I don't want to spend that much on a bra that I can only wear a year...

I don't have non walmart bras. >.< I know VS definitely doesn't carry sizes I can wear. :( the nicest ones I have are for nights I feel like dressing up for shaun and those don't really work for all day use. >.<

VS goes up to a DD...possibly triple. I know they have "special" sizes that they carry. I generally stick with a C though, since they have prettier colors/patterns. I technically should wear a D, but they're not pretty. >.< So I end up with a mini double boob, which disappears in the cold weather because apparently my boobs shrink? lol. In any case, I take cuteness over practicality with this.
Shoot, I forgot to get the matching panties. *woe*

Cassie- ooooh. I guess I was thinking he was where Steve was. Though I thought Washington instead of Wisconsin.
I just bought some stuff for Scott off of thinkgeek. Two shirts, one was free, a onesie for this baby it says "Made with Love. and science" LOVE IT!, a Dinosaur balloon kit for the kids, and a "survival kit" in a sardine can. I seem to have stuff almost constantly in my shopping cart there. There's just so much awesome nerdiness!

Jaz- Have you looked into cheap walmart bras for nursing? My nursing bras were from JC Penny. I can't remember the brand, but full coverage was what I needed to keep the clogged ducts away. And probably not having underwire would have helped as well...I guess I'll find out with this one! I'll be a totally pro midwife like lactation consultant!

I buy shaun's lots from there. But that's partly why I don't have 30 to spend there..on him anyway, I love plenty there like this light up necklace.. but then I end up thinking its just not worth it BUT if I am going to buy it.. 10 off of 30 and free shipping can't be argued with. Shaun doesn't like blue but maybe that blue 8 bit tie and something else? Shaun's bought me some things from there... when our home tests were coming back positive he bought me the Some Assembly Required and Geek Inside maternity shirts. It was really sweet. Those I can't wear for obvious reasons. Not pregnant being the first and my mom flipping out being the second. I really like all the onsies from think geek and from jinx. Sigh my kids are doomed.... lol

As for VS it isn't so much the cup size that's the issue. I'm really small in the boob department for being the weight I am >.< I think sometimes I don't even need a C. Just a B is fine.

I have the "loading please wait" maternity shirt, with the loading bar beneath it. I love it. xD I can't wait to be showing enough to wear it again. (: I can't do geek inside though, since they're not really geeks. ;-;
Man I hope this baby is a girl.

I know they have extenders for bra straps. er, the back straps. I never really looked into how much they add though. but that could be an option. :3 Specially for cute and functional bras! I mean really, he'll only see the front anyway, so who cares if there's an extender in the back? XD

lol. Shaun and I are both geeks and nerds so the geek inside works for us. It'd be weird if our kids were something different like a jock or something. As far as bras go, Shaun still has issues taking bras off >.< I think an extender might make that worse lol. I do have one extender for a strapless bra I wear. It only goes up to a half size. I'm not sure if they have bigger ones. It would be easier to find a cute bra if I were a D.. I see 42 Ds all the time! but 42 C and B is next to impossible at most places and if I do they're really not cute. :( I pretty much just rely on torrid for anything sexy. Sigh I really need to just get with the losing weight program again. I really don't have that much to go before I can wear things that are more my age and cuter.. Maybe after finals I'll ask to go up a dose with synthroid and give it another shot.

I got a lot of what I wore during pregnancy at Torrid. It's the only thing that has anything cute for people over a size 10 half the time. >.< And while pregnant I'm at least a 14. So yeah, Torrid has some nice stuff! A lot of my lingerie is baby doll esque though, so my baby belly works with it. I just can't wear the corsets. Which is okay, I don't think a baby belly would look hot in a corset anyway!
Shoot, I don't know what I'll do for maternity clothes now! D: I'm too far from any decent shops that would sell something that might look half way decent on a pregnant lady! And buying maternity clothes online is a nightmare. And all the stuff I have is for summer! D: D: D:

I love torrid its just expensive. I usually wait until things are 50% off of clearance and just buy that. But most of the time I end up buying work clothes from torrid instead of really casual stuff. For lingerie shaun likes aprons. for some reason those drive him nuts. even like a normal apron can from walmart. >.< so its usually those or baby dolls. I'm not big on corsets but I do have one. Shaun liked it a lot when he saw it in the store so.. I decided to surprise him with it once. The MV torrid is so small though so he usually takes me to the one in San Marcos and whenever Andrew and Matthew go to Sam Ash at the ontario mills mall, I normally do a short torrid browse. Online for torrid works too! I'm sure you could get stuff shipped. :)

Matthew got home from jazz band an hour ago. SO ANGRY! Some kid knocked over his sax and all the rods are demolished now. Matthew's sax costs 2k... So I'm angry this teacher's not you know calling this kids parents up for it. It'll never play the same again and even though most families don't have 2k, they should at least play part of the repairs. Apparently it was maliciously too but there's no detention at palm anymore since they can't afford to pay a teacher for it so just about nothing's being done aside from a verbal scolding.

in normal bras I am a 38 B/C in VS bras I'm a 36 D/DD they suggested D's cause they have prettier designs then DD.... Right now I am not fitting into a DD anymore... They fall right out the top O_o; so I doubt VS has my size....

I need to get a craiglist list together :/ I have a ton of things I want to sell... Jazzy want mo money

Cassie- I'd be livid too! I can understand if it was an accident...but with malicious intent? -_- You just don't destroy other peoples belongings.

Jaz- Do it! Sooner rather than later. Just take the camera and get the pictures. I always find that's the hardest part!

The camera and pictures isn't the hardest part for me... Gathering together all the stuff I want to sell into one place (and making sure it is put together I have a spare infant car seat that is in pieces cause I cleaned the hell out of it) is what makes it hard lol... Then once I do that taking pictures is easy but getting them uploaded I always dilly dally about... I think I will do it tonight... Ellie permitting...

I don't bother gathering it all into one place. I just take pictures, then post them. When I get an email about something, I clean the hell out of it, then put it somewhere other than where it was. I'm not going to bother working on something until I know someone else is interested. xD

My arms are shaking from crushing ice earlier. Aaron has slipped twice on different patches of ice around the car. The roads are essentially about an inch thick with compressed snow/ice. So everything is super slippery and dangerous. My hands are shaking. I don't like this. there is SO MUCH ice around the cars, I was only about to take care of about a quarter of it before I had to call it a day. or at least a morning. I may go out again later.

Ooooo so think geek sent me another coupon this one is for $20 off purchases of any value. no free shipping though. still.. yay! I get to use the 10 for the stuff that takes 30 to ship and I'm not sure what to use this 20 for but I'm so going to!

I'll ask steve what he does for thick ice like that but I know he's working until 12 these days >.< but salt might help. if you could find any :( I can't believe they don't have any there though...

Yeah it was on purpose. matthew told him to quit knocking over his music stand. the other kid told him "oh yeah, how do you like this!" and next thing wham! matthew's sax was tossed not just over but like over and across the room. So... my parents are taking the kids parents to small claims court since the school and teacher won't do anything. At first we thought matthew did something more to provoke the other kid but apparently no. the teacher said he saw and heard the whole thing. Pretty much the only help he's going to give us is a written/signed statement about what happened. My mom is way more pissed than I was when I found out probably because I was the one that picked matthew up and so she heard second hand. I think she thought I just didn't ask questions. She more can't believe the school won't do anything. So... she's decided to go for the full 2k +tax since his sax will never be the same again. not just it won't look pretty.. it'll never play right and will always have airflow problems now.

Good Luck to your mom/Matthew on this. I hope you're able to recoup the money in order to get a new one. Because seriously, that's just wrong. :/ I'm so sick of bullies getting away with this shit just because the schools are too broke to do anything about it. Like really? Aren't they supposed to consider ALL of the children in the school theirs? And protect them all? rawr.

We have this what I think is an uncurved Hoe that is used for breaking through and scraping at the ice. From what it looks like...that's what everyone else around here does as well. I just...greatly dislike it. Mostly because it makes me shaky ^^;;

For now matthew has to use andrew's old student model but andrew's old model went through hell too at the sugar bowl. same thing. bully rammed into andrew crushing all the rods on his sax. He had to hand repair it the night before the sugar bowl to play at all. I just hate that mr. peter saw what happened and didn't do anything. BUT.. Mr. Peter did get fired after that year so I was happy. >.> seems mean to be happy about that but then not. I hate that horrible teachers have jobs and amazing ones are getting pink slips. he so didn't earn his salary at all. A few times he even told the band to just do whatever because he was going to sleep. Just seems so crazy how bad its all gotten. No art elective at palm. no choir. no detention (not that that really does anything as far as punishment when kids are that old). Matthew doesn't even have band every day. just every other day because that teacher is going back and fourth between teaching at vvhs and palm. it's just crazy.
