This place is suffocating. It especially lacks a sense of humor and sarcasm--to me, humor plays an important role in keeping the community fun. So damn serious. The only time I've witnessed sarcasm used here is if trolling or intentional haughty smart-assery is taken place. Oh, the haughtiness! Along with the lack of humor comes those internet stiffs with their pixelated noses in the air. Unfortunately, the people who agree with me have disappeared/quit already. ): And the rule breakers are also draining the fun out of Menewsha. I don't mean spammers or trollers (in fact, I see spamming and trolling the only light of fun in Menewsha now)--I mean those who abuse the system and get away with it. I've seen this one guy, who will not be named, continuously do illegal things to become rich on Menewsha and another website. His many mules get caught, but he usually transfers funds or has more in stock. I don't think his main isn't even banned yet! How damn disgusting is that? He is also one of those haughty members, so naturally I cannot get along with him at all or with his friends/followers/whathaveyou. And that guy has many friends. ._.; Then the repeat threads; there are so many of the same subject I've already answered over and over again, that it comes to the point where I put something that isn't even relevant. Yeah, repeat threads aren't that bad, but they're dreadfully boring.

Now I only get my jollies off of trolling the stiffs. Not hardcore trolling, but light enough to get a few laughs here and there by how serious their responses are. Some may even refer to it as "palling around," though 'course those certain people would never realize it. >:P So that's why I was gonna quit. No fun, no order, and no support left--but Aeris' post really did make me feel better. Lilithia's PM and Jawful's humor, too. Hopefully I can tune those positive attributes together pass the weight of negativity that waters down Menewsha for me. Hopefully, at least.

I think that the main problem is the massive posting rules on Menewsha. They are meant to stop spam and stuff, but it is repressive.

Or maybe not, but I do get that vibe from the place. Maybe we need a general chat or something, where people can play around, instead of having to stick to a topic.

But the stuckupness makes hollie sad.

I can understand why Josh implemented those rules, but it is a bit too strict. ): I have a friend who's like--the best. He's super funny, very intelligent, and an all around decent guy. I could image we'd both rock Menewsha like no tomorrow. 83 But when I asked him to join, he immediately refused because (dun dun dun) the rules were too stiff for him. It's not like he's a trouble maker, but he likes a forum that could learn to (in his exact words) "liven up," y'know? Not full blast partytroublesexparty, but some leniency and humor. I don't know how else to explain it without repeating myself about the dry attitude it seems to emit. xD;

People have asked for a place to just chat casually, but it's all being pointed to Menewsha Nations. That's the closest anyone would get to such casualties. >_o; But, like I said earlier, I have difficulties getting along with a lot of people--hell, I can't even find peace with anyone in my own thread. xP;

Ah! Don't let my POV and experience dampen yours, if it has. ): I've just met a lot of the wrong people--unfortunately, all of them being super haughty.
