I buy manga once every month, even that is kinda rare because I don't drive and I don't want to bug the heck outta my mom to bring me to a bookstore thats like 30min's away from my house. Though whenever I go there I normally buy manga thats published by Tokyo Pop, I love romance manga xDD. and as for anime, I don't buy those.

I usually buy manga at least twice a month. Though lately, I haven't been able to buy manga as I am currently trying to get money for a new TV (my TV tuner died. /= ) Usually though when I buy manga, I buy at least #30 worth of manga. It keeps me occupied for the rest of the month. >3

I read manga and watch anime a lot more than I buy any of it.
But when it comes to buying manga I buy it whenever I go to the bookstore (and since there aren't very good bookstores near my house I usually go once a month, -.-").
As for anime I haven't bought any seasons or anything like that, I just buy the movies for them.
I can't help it I'm basically broke! TT^TT lol

I buy it as often as I find it on sale, and have the money for it, which isn't usual, unfortumently. There used to be a manga store near my house, but it seems to have closed down... ): Pity.

I generally am able to get two new volumes of manga two times a month- unless it's after my birthday, or Christmas. Then I buy all the volumes I couldn't buy over the rest of the year. As for anime, I really only buy or receive anime as a present about two to three times a year- once at a convention I go to every May, and for Christmas or my birthday. I wish I had the money to get it more often, though- it's hard to catch up sometimes. :(

I kind of feel guilty, I don't buy, I download :[
I can't buy anyway, because I don't have money and I don't have time to go buy it.

How much I buuy depends on what's out at the time. When I pick up a manga new series, I tend to buy about 1 or 2 a week (or so) until I'm caught up to the most current volume. Ongoing series I just buy as soon as the next volume comes out. It ends up being more than I realize.

I don't buy anime as often since I like to wait for thinpaks to come out for things.

For manga, I only get it when my local bookstore gets a deal. (like buy three get the fourth free.) I never buy it $10 each. I usually get manga bi-monthly. I don't have enough money to buy bi-weekly anymore. T_T.

As for anime, it seems to be very long. It seems to lack more for me than manga.

So far I have bought only manga. And the last time i did it was almost year ago. I'm nt that big anime freak, I just bought it at least to know what it looks like. >.<
As for anime, I usually take them from my frinds.
What kind of manga/anime do you like? Mm... fantasy, horror, romance and ecchi. Oh yeah... comedy as well.

I generally buy at least one manga a week, sometimes more depending on my funds for the week. I don't buy to much anime, it can be exspensive but I buy some now and then when it's cheap enough.

I used to buy manga in middle school, but not anymore... I just read it online.

I know I should be supporting the artists and all that stuff, but seriously... it's very expensive. Especially if you buy a whole bunch. It can add up. Besides, in China, they're sold for a tenth of the price of US manga.

So, I just read it online. I have a small collection of manga, but I'm planning on selling it soon, too.

It depends. I usually buy manga twice a month. Lately not so much because there isn't to much that interests me. Unless I want to fill in the holes in my manga collection. (I sometimes buy volume 2 before 1.) Though, I do want to go manga shopping tomorrow. :]

I think its depents on the fact how much money i´ve got in a month since i got to pay each month over 60€ for my cellphone and 40€ for my ticket to berlin it becomes rar that i buy one.
The last manga i bought was that month ,from arina tanemura squib feeling blue...an oneshot with 3 or 4 lil storys really cute.
Mostly its so that i get mangas from my boyfriend and some other boys as a present for example some weeks ago i got to my birthday 6 mangas from kare kano, then the first from mermaid melody pitchi pitchi pitch, then from kaori yuki the oneshot parfume master and ludwig revolution 2.And just on saturday my bf bought me sweet magical mermaid which is another oneshot.
So usually i got them from somone else like present and if not then i buy twice a month from 1-4 mangas.

I dont buy any animes ...i love them of course but the last one i bought was 2or 3 years ago..theyre to expensive...usually i rent them from my frinds or i got some for present xp.

I really don't buy any anymore. It tended to eat away at my purse-strings. I just can't afford to go out every week and buy manga chapters. I miss it, though. It was always kind of nice to build up a collection like that. Now I just read my favorite series on the web, from people who buy the license to scan the pages and post them for everyone to see. It makes things a little easier on my part.

I get coupons from Border's weekly throught their Reward Card so I atleast buy one manga every week or every other week.

But lately I've stocked up on so much anime and manga its just plain stupid for me to buy more until I get to watching what I already have. :)

@Mage
And I'm sorry to have to get snippy over this but seriously. Most manga goes for around eight to ten dollars. Its not that expensive. Plus if one learns the way of the coupon its even less expensive.

Heh..
I buy manga whenever I have the money to buy it, which is like, never.
I bought Fruits Basket up to volume 8, and I've read until volume 18, since my friend has them.
I usually ask manga volumes for my birthday or christmas. I note which I have, and which I don't have yet, and I usually get a lot..
Since my birthday is in 19 days, I'll probably have more manga by then.
Anime DVD's I don't really buy, since you can't buy them anywhere here.
I watch my anime on different websites.
The quality sucks, but at least I can watch everything I Want to watch, and I don't have to ask my friend's dad to import everything from america, or ask my aunt to bring it from Japan, since she's Japanese and goes there every year.
Not that Japanese anime is very useful since it almost never has subtitles.
I hate watching anime without subtitles, but that's probably because I barely speak any Japanese.

I buy anime/manga whenever I can to support my favorites. Usually I get the most around my birthday & Christmas, since that's mostly what I put on my wishlist. xD
Manga isn't that expensive, particularly Shounen Jump manga like Death Note or D.Gray-Man, so that's what I end up buying the most~ As for anime, I used to buy it at Best Buy all the time, now I mainly just buy it at online anime stores, like Rightstuf, when it's on sale. xD;;; *is shot*

(I'll admit, though, when a series isn't licensed or I'm low on money, I'll watch it for free on the computer, but I do plan to pay for what I can once I get a job)
