I try to finish a series I start so I end up getting a new one like 1 a month... it sucks... I wish I could buy a ton :D

I don't buy manga very often, but when I do it costs me too much money!! TT.TT
Most of the manga that I read I get from the library and I only buy manga that is a newly started series or basically doesn't have a lot of books for the series, ^.^".
Because if I buy manga from a series that has 23 books already out, I would never be able to buy any other manga than that or I wouldn't be able to finsh buying the series, since it's my mom who buys most of the manga for me, ^.^"
So basically I just buy manga that has a very small amount of books out for it, :D

Umm, I don't own any manga... But my younger sister does, its only one series though and she got them two months back. All of the other mangas that we read are either read on the internet or borrowed from the library. As for Anime, we don't own any, we watch them on tv... Lol.

Anime I like never buy cause I usually prefer manga over anime (just cause it's cheaper, easier to find, doesn't require a DVD with me to enjoy, and doesn't get completely ruin when translating from japanese to english). The last anime I bought was when Tower Records was going out of business and it cost like... $10 to buy a brand new anime DVD. The it's usually the price that turns me away. *staggers at the thought of spending $300 dollars+ for the Detective Conan series*

Manga, I'll buy when there's a sale or I'll have a gift card. (So usually around christmas I suddenly get a huge stock xD). So I guess once 3-4 months I'll buy a manga. *nods*

Borders just had buy four get one free, so I went there, bought 5 books and used an old gift card too. xD <3

I think collectors still has a 50% off on 5 or more tokyopop mangas. I should hit there next. >>

I also prefer buying manga, and Seito you remind me of Psyrien's thoughts about it, though she is supposedly going to hide in my collection and read it all. Is That possible?

ha ha, actually psyrien wasn't in her house for thanksgiving, she got stuck in chicago. I though went to her house since I was over there. I gave her parents lamb, that she apparently ate over winter break. Hence I think you couldn't invade.

Well it did dawn on me she probably doesn't like all the series types I have, so she might go though a decent amount, for she is planning to sleeping in that room.

I am one of the suppliers for holding a library of manga, but at times wish I could charge a pull out feet of a dime or something so I could buy some more instead of having books always come out of my money.

I am less inclined to buy books in bulk. I like waiting volume to volume, just like I have problems watching a series straight through.

I used to buy a few manga a month, then i stopped for 6+ months. Actually, today I went out and dropped $100 on manga. =]

Some of my classmates would hold manga reading days where they would bring their collections and share between all of them for reading. xD so Person A brings this manga and person B brings that manga and so forth. xD

I don't like to buy all one series though. >> quite honestly, I'm not the type of girl to buy an entire series. I usually buy the volumes that I really like. So like inuyasha. I bought maybe 4 volumes and have no intention of buying the rest.

The only time I'll buy the complete series is when it's short enough (like only 1-7 volumes) or I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY like. Like Ouran Host Club, that really made a nice impression on me, and I think that'll be one series I'll set out to finish no matter how many volumes. (just a matter of finding them). I might finish buying Rurouni Kenshin only cause my friend gave me all her RK mangas which was like half the series... I might just finish it for the sake of finishing it cause I already own volumes 1-18. There's only 10 more to go.

Yes I am that friend who invaded Toys and Joys, need to do that again but I probably will wait a while before going back to Hawaii. Also has not a clue how much I spent there, this year was less than last, but it normally is like 100 dollar purchases on figs.

Lamb at her house eh? it was probably what I brought, we gave her a box of lamb, ok it is the same lamb. I hope you liked it. We have the library exchange with my friends, but I still have much more, so eventually some was give to me, so I actually have 2 people's collections, but her's was soo small, it was pointless. We do that more with anime, trade disks of anime series for months on end, and then get back, like technically i don't own escaflowne, but watched it at home like 50 plus times for fun (not all at once).

Anime, I own similar in size to her, but it is manga I own so much, also I try hard to buy figurines only at Toy's and joys because I spend stuff elsewhere. If I will pay for series, I want statues or something I can't easily create, out of it.

Also will try and bring more lamb for psyrien later, glad you liked it, I know someone who raises farm animals so it is a case of colorado has home state meat, not imported, I love their meat so much more than here at the dorms, though i am sure psyrien told you of that.

So currently buying anime and manga time is coming up for February, about to spend more money on food, figurines and manga. Doesn't help anime club is going to japan town area here, talking Psyrien with me ^^

Seito would love buy figurines but they usually end up costing so much more then a manga. *dies* I keep staring at the cloud ones... I think I'll just buy the small mini one.

Yes figurines cost more, but I love them so much more (not sure if she owns as many figurines as manga or not). Part of it has to do with I get small ones, the trading ones, and large ones, and all sizes. Are you staring at the movable cloud one by any chance?? The one that is all pretty and has sword, same style as a whole bunch of Final Fantasy characters??

Yes, must not spend kind of theory till later.I must figure out how to limit self with that. I try and do that with anime and manga but a monthly budget never works.

xD that's the one I wanna buy (that and the one with motocycle) but the one I think I'll buy is the Kingdom Hearts Formation Arts, Cloud figure. x3 <3 it's kinda small, but a decent size (like it's at least 4-6 inches big) and it's only like 12 dollars if I remember right.

Yes not working too well. Also bad thing was by the dim sum place by toys and joys, I found a figurine shop. I didn't know it existed. And the manga shop across the street, and then collectors. and toys and joys. Why do I not live in Hawaii. Also going to a new shop here that is behind the japanese market this weekend, or so I hope. I want to get Saber or soemthing. I need more figs. Also have new money, but I really should be saving.
